very enjoyable stay with 2 kids (5, 3). the beach was amazing and the service of the team was exceptional - at the lobby, at the restaurants, everywhere.

Excellent staff going above and beyond for hospitality.
Amazing food and the highest quality of drinks!

Our stay was overall really good and probably it would deserve closer to 4.5 stars
Pros:
- Very nice hotel, with great views. Our bungalow room (Paradiso limited sea view) was charming, spacious and the sea view was great. The balcony was a bit small however.
- The food was good for buffet standards and there was good variety, particularly at dinner time. The kids also loved the gelaterie by the beach.
- Most of the staff were friendly.
- The private beach is pretty enough and clean plus the water is shallow and feels safe for young kids. There's not much sand to play though.
- The ability to go to the Imperial and the Ava Palace on a boat and use their pool.
Cons:
- The wasps. There are A LOT of them and at times it made it really uncomfortable. On two occasions we had 5 wasps hovering over our dishes while having dinner. Once three wasps spent 10 minutes walking on my plate and ended up drowning in the sauce.
- The swimming pool is quite small given the number of guests and there are nowhere nearly enough loungers so getting them is very difficult. They also ran out of towels twice.
- The bar in the swimming pool area would benefit from some shaded areas.
- While cleanliness was overall good, they never moped the floor of our room (the cleaner didn't even have a mop) plus we got a couple of dirty bath towels twice during our stay.
- The a la carte (except Gattopardo) were a bit disappointing.
- The hotel is quite secluded making walking to other places challenging.

Would recommend this hotel especially if you have kids, the beach was the best part

The surroundings are really beautiful, so close to the beach. The gardens are beautiful too. The rooms and the corridors are a bit 'dated'. The bathroom could use an update for example. And I would put some paintings or pictures on the walls of the rooms to make it a bit nicer. The food is fantastic! Really really good, everything you could wish for and if you have questions they are very willing to help. The staff is excellent. We had a massage which was great. The bed at the pool are also a bit dated. Entertainment is nice in the evening and there is something to do for the children but I could see that they loved playing at the beach. I would come back here!

Great place for families!

Rooms are dated. Staff don’t accept complaints e.g. water and coffee not replenished. The comments were taken negatively and staff were rude to me. Nothing to do around the area at all. Food cold when it should be hot. Not receptive to comments

Everything at the location is good. Only horrible part is expedia itself and their lack of care.
8.0
A good choice for families. Staff are courteous and friendly, responding swigtly to guests' needs.

This is our fourth stay at a Grecotel. Love their all inclusive package; staff at reception were exceptional and great service generally except in one speciality restaurant. Wifi in room hit and miss. We had problems with digital lock to our room which took days to sort; several times keys renewed, battery in lock changed etc etc. Overall a great stay.

Do not go go there, they don't care about the people who is staying there, the food is disgusting, the people who work at the reception rude, and don't care if u have an issues with them . Avoid in any cost . The only good thing is the Beach. By the way I would like to thank you Inga who tried to safe our vocation, is not her fault the food just bad and poor quility:) thank you Inga . By the way if u decide to go there any ways book restaurants ahead, they won't they tell you ahead . U will thank me later

This was one of the best all inclusive holidays we have had. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was fabulous and the daily activities and nightly entertainment was wonderful. Great value for money and a very friendly manager Alex who made everyone including children feel welcome.

Had a great stay. Got a bit loud on our last night as the walls between rooms are quite thin but overall a great time!
6.0
Room was spacious and perfect for a family of four
Pool was small compared to the size of resort and number of guests
Dining options were average , other Grecotel hotels taste better
Some staff were rude others were extremely nice which affected our experience at the beginning
We were there for 5 nights and as soon as we arrived we asked to book at their restaurants surprisingly they said all restaurants r fully booked except the buffet one mentioning that on their website they ask to prébook and I told them this is not mentioned on Expedia where I did my booking which made me ask for the hotel manager and discuss !!
Their kids club is average vs other kids clubs we’ve been to
Thanks for birthday celebration , so thoughtful of them

Staff are polite, efficient and work super fast. Lots of staff around so any need met quickly.
Clean rooms, fluffy towels and crisp cotton sheets.
Access to beach is steep, but only a minutes walk and the beach is lovely.

I don't have enough words to describe the excellent, friendly, and attentive staff from the reservations call, reception, restaurants' staff and the staff that helped with our luggage! They were all with a smile on their face and work tirelessly in the heat of the Greek summer to provide us with impeccable service. Despite the premises needing a bit of a revamp, I would just return for the excellent service of the staff. That being said, the premises and room were very clean, and the food was delicious with a lot of choices.
The hotel sits on a hill but there are golf carts that offer you (fun) rides down to the beach of the hotel. You may need to rent a car if you need to explore the island or inquire for public transportation. Awesome stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were very helpful and professional. A lovely private beach and pool area. We had not realised you had to pay for food in the restaurants which was disappointing. Food allergy labelling was also not brilliant and a little confusing.
10.0
Wonderful resort. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds and facilities are well maintained.
A great place to stay away from the towns but close enough to easily visit anywhere on the island.
4.0
The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The cushions on the chairs outside could have been cleaner. Older persons should be made aware that they will have to rely on the buggy to bring them back from the beach as it is steep hill and difficult for older people to climb. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall my experience was very positive, staff was amazing, I would recommend this resort. But like everything in the world today, resort looks better online, resort was no means bad or anything like that. But the photos online gives it a spark that you don't get in person. Besides the buffets, the resort does have 3 or 4 nice restaurants, but soon as you book please call to make reservations. I only ate at the buffets my 4 days there because restaurants were booked and has no availability.

Its a luxury hotel located by a scenery beach, clean, very kind staff and good food
8.0
The hotel is pretty decent, but has a few flaws which I think guests or potential guests should be aware of. The rooms are not to the same par as the rest of the hotel. I deliberately paid more for a bungalow and the decor and facilities were not up to the 4 star standard. I would say more like a 3. The buffet meals are okay. Some days are better than others. The snacks at the main bar are fresh and lovely, as are the patisserie, crepes and ice cream. Lots of choice and open most the day. Things that let it down are that I wasn’t made aware that I had to book the la carte restaurants before my stay. I only managed to book 1 when I was there for the Asia menu. The food and service was amazing. They should just let guests know early on to book this in advance. The hotel is on a cliff basically and if it’s not a super warm week you will get cold. The rooms have no heating which you wouldn’t think you need but I did!
The service from staff was usually good but at night I had my drink forgotten about several times and I was waiting 20-30 minutes for one. The drinks list is massive. You get a lot included and the drinks themselves are amazing.
For some reason they didn’t take my taxes until I checked out so make sure you keep this money spare.
Outside of the hotel is severely run down and does not match the quality out into these hotels. I thought we were in the wrong place and it felt like a horror movie until. There isn’t much to do outside of the hotel.

Very nice hotel, scenery beautiful staff excellent, only down side the food in the main restaurant wasn’t very warm sometimes cold, and the beds weren’t very comfortable, other than that we had a great time
4.0
Staff amazing. Food ok. Rooms lovely. Facilities ok. Needs more shade and work to make it more child inclusive. Having to pre book restaurants meant it was a real pain so only got 1 night in the nicer a la carte restaurants. No irons in the room which is bad form.
5.0
Our stay was really lovely. Service was excellent and cleanliness was highly noted.
The pools, restaurant, bar area were clean at all time.
10.0
Beautiful setting, genuinely all-inclusive and staff couldn’t be more helpful.
6.0
Excellent service and food. Family bungalow needs updating. Better pool management so people don’t take possession of the sun loungers all day! There wasn’t any added benefit of being a club member.
5.0
A comfortable and well kept hotel. Private beach and grounds were well maintained. Staff helpful and polite. Super views from the sea view rooms. Easy access to the rest of the island if you have a hire car. Good choice of buffet food. Speciality restaurants ok but nothing overly special. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Grecotel.

We had a fantastic family holiday, we left the covid madness for a whole week and completely forgot about everything. Great pool and private beach 🏖

Excellent location and beautiful beach, ideal for children.
Large and comfortable room (family bungalow), but need a modernization. Very good and helpful service. Only critic concerning the variation of the dishes at the buffet.Though a-la-cart restaurant was very good!
5.0
From check in to check out the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Set in a beautiful bay there is so much on offer. The food is great with lots of choice. Many activities available without being forced.
4.0
The evening entertainment was somewhat cheesy disco with young children running wild.
4.0
Great service, very clean, and staff always smart.
5.0
Nice hotel with a private beach. The food was very nice, though we weren't able to book into any of the additional restaurants on site as they were all fully booked.
Gym was small but had all the equipment you would need. The beach had free paddle boards and pedalos and other watersport activities.
3.0
Horrible all inclusive wine. Noisy A.C. in need of service (room 715). We were not offered room only at euro 150 and had to pay 300 - 350 which included dubious benefits. We were dropped at this place by an out-of-town taxi driver.
1.0
For the hotel and customer rating i expected a higher and more efficient level of service from desk staff. I found several very rude and was surprised to find several food items frozen on the menu. The gym was very bad and i had a piece of equipment break and hurt me for which the hotel did nothing about!
5.0
Very friendly staff that would go out of their way to ensure our holiday was the best it could be
