The staff was very friendly and polite. They made me feel welcome, not like I was a stranger ! The location of the hotel is a pretty area, something out of a postcard. Had a wonderful time !!

Palinka! Thanks for your kindness.

Un jeg de pensiune psd-isto-comunista.

Great property, very quiet; very welcoming host.
In close proximities to natural parks, Bran castle and great MTB trails.

Don't book, only if you want services of 2 stars hotels with 4 stars prices.
Staff not welcoming, no elevator, expensiv and terrible breakfast, corroded bathroom, dirty water in the pool, the pool is much much smaller compered with the advertising pictures, cheap furniture and overall a cheap felling everywhere

The owner was very kind and understanding. There was a mix up with the dates that expedia put on there but she called around to some nearby locations and got us another room to stay in and gave us the same amenties at her location on top of it. Super amazing at making you feel like they wanted you there!

A four star hotel closed at 2 pm. No staff . Just husband and wife that I woke up and lectured me about 4 pm checkin although res said 3 pm.very rude. Hotel was empty and their attitude made me leave.i was afraid to sleep there. It reminded me about the movie shining with jack nicholson and psycho.NOT a 4 star hotel. Less than motel 6 or less.

Tomas and Nina the hosts were excellent and could not do enough for you. Unfortunately do to improvements the sauna was out of use during our stay but this is a minor issue which did not spoil our stay
3.8
A cheap taxi ride to and from Bran to this nice little hotel. After a couple of minor issues we found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating with our stay.

Nice views. Well located to visit by car the region. There is no elevator and reception is on first floor. Call to arrange the entrance time. Breakfast is too expensive.

Nice and clean, staff very friendly
Breakfast wasn’t the best ,no butter
No water hot or cold for 24 hours which wasn’t very convenient with no apologies or explanation

Absolutely no customer service - as a gold Expedia member I travel a lot probably the rudest money grubbing people I have ever encountered and should sell their property and make a career in money laundering. They were disgusted I booked through Expedia for one, our room was made for Hansel and Gretel - bathroom reaked and there were health and safety violations throughout including smashing your head on low beams - not at all accessible to anyone with children or the elderly and finally it felt like we were intruding on a family home - the family of the owners gathered at night (10-12) and threw back a bottle of Jack Daniels in the lounge while casting side glances at us to get out. Lastly Romanians protested corruption this weekend in Bucharest - their march should have started at the Belvedere! I have so much more to tell and to fellow Expedians I only stayed here one night !! Avoid this place and Expedia should reconsider their listing of it .

Rural hotel with stunning views, helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist their guests.

We were looking forward to staying at this hotel for the nice views but it's nothing like the pictures, the rooms are very small and outdated and the reception/bar smell like smoke, the pool is a quarter size of that it looks in the pictures and the guy from the reception was rude from the beginning. I would not recommend for people to stay here and they refused to give me my money back.

One of the best. Thomas and Neena, the owners did everything to make us feel comfortable and at home. The place is so uniquely decorated - like a beautiful country home in Romania. Highly recommend.

We stayed for one night at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed playing billiards in the lounge before bed. Parking was easy and the room was very clean.

Hotel not as described on website:No restaurant in use, only breakfast served between 08.30-09.30,on 9/9/2017,we went down to breakfast at 08.30 and no one around and no breakfast set up,he eventually arrived at 08,40 ,another quest got fed up waiting and went into kitchen and made her own breakfast,on same day we got back around 13,30 and was asked were we going out again ,we said yes ,so we were given the front door key and asked to lock up ,this also happened on the 7/9/2017 ,owners left the hotel at 19.30 and we were locked in ,no fire exit and no way off getting out ,at this point i realized that we were infact locked in every night and left with no owners or night porter on duty,
No access to hot drinks or the bar ,if we wanted anything we had to look for them,
No house keeping ,sheets and towels not changed all week.
We had to park car outside premises even though there was a large carpark inside.
No deli/bar.
No room service.
No Shuttle bus service.
No lounge area.
We did feel quite unsafe.
We left a day early and booked into another hotel .

Since the rating of the hotel is very high we were expecting to enjoy the hotel facilities. in reality:
The pictures are deceiving! The hotel manager is very rude and in-polite. when we asked for clean towels she argued with us asking if at home we change every day, saying it is the against the hotel policy to change towels every day. It was written in the room but only in Romanian (!) The pool is tiny. we wanted to use the Gym. we were told that we have 1 hour a day. When we said that we want to go they said that they need to fix it first so only in half an hour. we ave up. Breakfast is served 8:30-9:30 even during the weekend. One positive thing- breakfast was good (if you ignore the small window of opportunity to have it)

The staff here is incredible. Kind, accommodating, hard working, and always looking out for the guests' comfort. The Inn is very charming and run by a wonderful family who went above and beyond in terms of customer service. The Bran Belvedere is located in a scenic countryside, and is only a 30 minute walk into Bran! If I ever find myself in Romania again, I will definitely stay at the Bran Belvedere!

Wonderful stay! Clean, good breakfast, and close to Bran Castle.

Fabulous pool and great tennis court. We couldn't ask for more. We felt like home.

We had a very nice time at the Bran Belvedere. The staff speaks good english and were friendly and useful. The view from our room balcony was amazing and the place is beautiful. It is a little out of the city centre so it is quiet and relaxing.

We were impressed with the hotel and staff. After being greeted and checked in by the owner, we were treated to a welcoming toast of homemade "brandy." Clean rooms and a great view of the surrounding mountains.

Really Clean hotel, with nice personal, it's localize less than 1 mile of the Dracula Castle

I have a high standard of cleanliness. Our room was clean, maintained well, and had a great view of the mountains. The family that owns and operates it is very nice and was a pleasure to talk too. Only draw back is it is about 1 mile from the shops and cafes. However, a nice 15 min walk through a neighborhood or there are cabs to call.

Wonderful English speaking owners that are warm, caring and genuine. Our only downside was no elevator and I'm handicapped but the hospitality more than compensated for the stairs!! We'd go back again.

When I arrived it was almost dark but I received a great welcome with palinka! Tomas the owner and his wife were friendly and chatted over a few drinks. The belvedere is simple enough to find and has plenty of parking, and is close to the mountains and Bran town. I went for a trip up to the bear sanctuary which was amazing, I will return again for some hiking in the future.

The hotel is basically a big bed and breakfast. Bran is a very small town and most tourists do not stay the night, so this small hotel had no other travelers besides my family, so we had the hotel to ourselves. The rooms are very nice, the bathrooms are very large as well. The one downside is that the showers are small and leak a little. The family that runs the hotel were very nice and made us a very nice breakfast that consisted of eggs and sausages. It's sort of hard to find if you don't have a map, but it's in a very quit neighborhood with a really nice garden. I would definitely recommend staying here for a short time, but besides one or two days, the city doesn't have that much to offer besides the castle. It would be easier to stay in Brasov if you are going to be looking at different locations in Transylvania.

The staff is very friendly. An 'at home' kind of feeling. A little off the main road but so quiet, it's worth looking for. The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable. Well under priced in my opinion.

Very nice Swiss style chalet on the outskirts of Bram. Large comfortable rooms with baloconys. Not luxurious but very well decorated and quiet. Friendly staff and breakfrast and dinner meals were excellent local quisine. Good directions to local attractions and well stocked bar. Cable TV and free WiFi.
