The Cortiina is a nice hotel in a great location. I loved the kitchenette and having a coffee machine in the room was nice. The location was great. Walking distance to most everything in the old town. The staff was the best. They took our luggage and parked our rental car when we arrived. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Mostly style with very little substance. Extremely social media ready with how beautiful it is but lacking in substance. I stayed in room 405 which had to have the most dangerous shower tub I've ever seen. I guarantee someone has fallen in the shower tub because of how high it is and how there is no mat on the floor of the shower to prevent sliding. The blinds are terrible for keeping out light. I had to move rooms because the first one's climate control was not working. In the first room I had a bed that was only ONE bed and not the two couches pushed together in room 405. Also - the shower has a small piece of glass to keep water from going on the floor. Why am I paying close to 300 euro a night to sleep in a room with two twin beds together and a shower that is dangerous and you have to be conscious about keeping the water in. The breakfast was comical- I've never seen smaller avocado toast in my life. The staff was very nice but even they were complaining about how complex the thermostats were in the room and how they couldn't find workers in Germany so they had to work more. Very disappointing experience for the price. I definitely will try to stay at a different hotel in the future.

Only booked this property for 1 night and wished we had booked for longer. Staff reception was phenomenal, they met us at the curb to help with our bags, parked our car and took our bags up to our room. This is not your large upscale hotel; it’s a smaller boutique set-up so for them to offer this level of service was impressive. Room was spacious, very clean, handwritten note welcoming us along with a voucher for a few drinks at the wine bar. Again, if we come back to Munich, this would be our first choice (and we have stayed at other top-rated hotels in the city).

I chose this largely based on NY Times review. The property was clean, attractive, and well-located. However, it seemed to be under-staffed. A poorly designed shower led to flooding in the bathroom, and staff was slow to respond. Also, it was not clear how to operate the thermostat.

The location is perfect! Minutes from Marienplatz and right next to many restaurants and downtown attractions. Getting around is very easy as it’s about 3 minutes walk away from the subway. The breakfast quality is good with many selections and attentive staff.

If you want to stay in downtown Munich - this hotel is the best! We had a room with kitchenette and it was very spacious, modern and cozy. The hotel is located super close to Marienplatz but in a very quiet area. Also breakfast is Superb! Very friendly staff

Wonderful hotel with incredibly attentive staff. We arrived from the US at 9:00am, anticipating a long day waiting for our room but they had one ready for us. That was probably just luck but they could not have been more welcoming. An excellent place to stay, blocks away from the market and the English Garden.

This is an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Munich. We loved the kitchenette and cooked in for lunch after shopping at the nearby famous open air market. The hotel is close to all the major sites and walkable to others. The staff are very friendly and helpful and assisted with everything from transport to private tours. Room was big and very comfortable.

The staff was very helpful. Our luggage was lost in London and the staff was very helpful in getting us all the essentials until our bags arrived. Location was great too! We were able to walk all around Old Munich and didn't need a taxi.

The Cortina Hotel is in a great location, close to many restaurants, and a short walk from the Marienplatz and the train station. Breakfasts were excellent, the room was clean and comfy. But the staff were the best of all! Very friendly and very helpful. When we arrived on a rainy evening, tired and hungry, a young man at the desk called around to find us a reservation. When that wasn't successful, he walked down the street (in the rain) to the Zum Durnbrau, and found us a table. We enjoyed great Bavarian food and beer, exactly what we wanted! Just a great experience all around!

The staff at the Cortina Hotel was so friendly and helpful. They really made our stay here enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The location is perfect - walkable to lots of restaurants and attractions. Public transportation is nearby as well. Would definitely stay here again. We travelled as a family and had a great time together.
