We had a very comfortable nights stay. Plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and very peaceful and quiet. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A minor issue with the shower was dealt with superbly by the manager Mark who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. In fact, couldn’t have asked for a more caring team. The room was a little tired in places but we believe it’s in the pipeline for a makeover. Would definitely stay again. Thank you to Mark and the team.

The hotel recpetion area smelt bery badly of snoke. The room was very old and tierd and unclean. I will say the receptionist was wonderful a lovely welcome after a long drive. Bit i wouldnt use the hotel agaon because of the other issues
3.6
Overall OK but towel rail did not work.
3.6
Cheap and cheerful - hotel is looking a bit tired and shabby.
3.6
Travelling home, north on m5 and assumed we could get to south side from service area. There was a sign for Days Inn on approach to service area but nothing after that so drove north to next junction then came back on the south side
3.6
I give the accommodation 3 stars only as it would have been nice to have had a refrigerator to keep the milk safe and usable. Also the BBC1 channel had no sound at all just a picture. Also, the shower should have been easier getting in and out of, my wife being disabled could not have a shower.
3.6
Probably the worst i have ever stayed at
3.6
Very good apart from no sleep as I was worried about my car being stolen.
3.6
It was conveniently located for our purposes.
3.6
In a motorway service area, so handy as a night stop.
3.6
No Soap in shower and hand-basin Little.towells
3.6
facilities need to be maintained
3.6
Nice and clean friendly staff
3.6
Lovely staff who were welcoming and helpful
3.6
Hotel and room up to normal good standard for this type of accommodation
3.6
Basic Accomodation. A little dated but not bad for the price. Needed a quiet space to do a very long assessment for work. It was adequate
3.6
This was a disappointing stay.
The room was very tired and needs modernizing.
The room on the whole was adequate.
3.6
Noisy, sound proofing poor, decor scratched paint, crayon marks on the wall.
3.6
Lovely welcome and the room was sufficient for our needs. The decor is dated, with stained woodworm.
We had a double and single bed but my daughter choose to sleep with me as she noted the bedding was dirty on the single.

At best, this hotel is ‘tired’, maintenance is poor. Very tatty towel rail in bathroom light outside shows it’s turned on, sign inside states it gets very hot. It didn’t work. The wire to it is grotty and sticking out.
The mattress was old/poor quality..felt like being on a boat when turning over. Limited mattress support. Cobweb with spider (dead I think) under the desk. Bedding was clean. Housekeeping did nearly as best they can with an old, tatty, grimy room. Look at inside of bathroom door. Shower/taps sounded like jumbo jet before water got hot.
3.6
This property is dated, but you get what you pay for on a late booking
3.6
The room had a bad smell
3.6
Hotel very dated, had an awful odour throughout, dirty, mouldy, hole in the wall, squashed flies stuck to the wall, I could go on.
I arrived fairly late due to a late flight, was just stopping overnight to save driving home tired. But I wish I'd carried on driving!
I was woken in the early hours by some very noisy, aggressive guests and although this is no fault of the hotel it didn't exactly make add to the already poor stay.
3.6
Very handy position just off the M5,some background road noise if you are a light sleeper.More noise from inside the Hotel, banging doors ,raised voices until well after midnight.
Property in need of some upgrade and TLC throughout
Get what you pay for ! Cheap but not very cheerful
Concerning that the towel heater was wrapped in masking tape as it was not working, clearly a Health and Safety, fire risk !,
3.6
Comfortable and easy to find.Just right for a one night stay while I’m on my travels.
3.6
Reception staff excellent, room clean.. however no sweetener in hospitality tea /coffee nor a spoon to use
3.6
Location good. Had all facilities and wifi. Well located but secluded at the same time. Had service shops beside which was useful. Bed was comfortable and clean.
3.6
Very rude woman on reception, dirty room, broken equipment, chewing gum squashed in net curtain and she didn’t put the car reg in for free parking so we also received a fine! If we weren’t in such a desperate situation we’d have left. Avoid !!!
3.6
Wasn't perfectly clean. Didn't really upset my trip though.
3.6
Saw a rat by check in. Check in host was hostile and suspicious. Room dirty, dark, tired and noisy. We left room instantly and booked somewhere much nicer despite losing entirety of booking cost. Horrid and would avoid this chain again.
3.6
Sadly the whole hotel is very run down and badly in need of a re-fit. The shower only had x2 settings which were OFF or scalding hot. It was impossible to change the water temperature- dangerous. In the mornings Reception is not staffed because they are preparing rooms for new guests so we could not report the scalding water issue. The rooms are in a state of disrepair - in fact the whole hotel is. The rest of the Service Station can best (and politely) be described as Basic. If you just want a bed for the night then fair enough - otherwise give this place a miss.
3.6
Staff vèry helpful, Beds a bit saggy& worn .
Clean & tidy. Was ok for x1 night reasonably priced .
3.6
The bathroom could of been cleaner and less dust but apart from that it was a good stay.
3.6
Convinent place. Friendly and helpful staff
3.6
Terrible hotel with zero sound proofing in the rooms - you can hear everything from the next room
3.6
Great stopover on the M5 south of Bristol and north of Exeter
3.6
Room was not very clean.
The beds were tired n not comfortable. Didn’t sleep very well. By the morning my back was breaking.
Very disappointing
3.6
Considering recent price increases as far as hotels are concerned, you get what you pay for although £82 for a motorway hotel seems to be steep as not so long ago you would pay no more than £60 per night. It was convinient though for a business trip . All in all motorway stop experience, nothing to write home about. Fairly clean, quiet and seems to be safe.
3.6
My stay was simple and lovely. Friendly staff at the front desk, clean room, no fuss. I was happy with everything. The bed was very comfortable. I will be happy to return.
3.6
It was good
