We had a great stay. Communication was great, check in was simple. Good to have a dedicated parking spot. Loved the security system with the key card. Facilities were brilliant. If I was being critical, there was a bit of dust in the room where it needed a more thorough clean. But overall fantastic place to stay with kids as well. Will definitely book here again if I was staying in the area.

Lovely property, however allowing smoking on balconies is not great. The whole time had to keep doors and windows closed due to the strong smell of smoke.

We loved staying at the Catalina apartments. Room was spacious, clean and modern. We had an ocean view room so the view was ever-changing. We loved how the master suite was separate to the kids room, and the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Although the building seemed to be full, we never heard any noise through the walls. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great (although needed a bit of fiddling to get it to stay on the wall). Well equipped kitchen. 2 minutes walk to the beach which was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely disappointing to have a room with a lift behind our heads in the room . And to have renovations from 6.45 am each morning and delivers at 5.15 am rubbish removal right outside our window.Have never stayed in a worst place need cleaning in shower as well

Before writing this review, I emailed the resort manager. A week later with no response, I decided to provide the email below. Attention: resort manager To whom it may concern, I’m writing to express my disappointment in our recent stay at your resort (29/10-01/11). We stayed in unit 59 - level 2. We first noticed the unit hadn’t been cleaned properly. The main toilet was still dirty, and the second bedroom had a foul/damp odour coming from it. The kitchen utensils were also in poor condition, with something obviously wrong with the stovetop. It took forty minutes to boil a pot of pasta. My daughter also woke with bites all over her neck and back (see picture). We also discovered feaces in the resort pool on Sunday. It was there for hours. Unfortunately, we didn’t realise we had access to resort 1s facilities, until late that afternoon when a resident told us. Very little information was provided to us on check-in. We came and voiced our concerns on Monday, and whilst reception apologised, little resolution was offered. We ended up checking out early, and leaving that day. As you can imagine, my children and I were really disappointed. Regards,

Good value for money. Especially for the area. We had a two bedroom apartment which was clean and spacious. Beds were comfy. Interior is a little dated but didn’t bother us. Reception staff were very friendly. Great location with the beach and cafes a short walk. Short drive to the plaza and Mooloolaba.

Convenient to surf club budget studio apartment was in need of a complete make over and cooking conditions no exhaust system over hot plates moisture runs off cupboard into food air-conditioning cords exposed, water dripping in wardrobe from air-conditioner into waste its very budget would not recommend thus room at all
