This was truly an excellent choice for our short family vacation! Centrally located, everything was walking distance and it was really nice to get around the entire town! The highlight of the trip was the friendliness of the staff. Kevin always with a great attitude, Sergio finding the ways to meet our requests and Monica was the star of week! She really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, especially during the energy blackouts that happened a couple of nights! I would recommend the owners to consider updating the A/C system and emergency lights, those were the only two items that had issues during our stay. Still, I would recommend staying at this hotel, I know we will when we go back! Awesome Job Mónica, Sergio and Kevin!!!

Very helpful and courteous staff. One block from main plaza. Because so close to center, sometimes a little noisy, but not bad.

The staff was extremely helpful, and the hotel was beautiful and as described. The room and hotel area were extremely safe, and it is only a stone's throw from a taxi area, the town center, and multiple food places. Breakfast was great and efficient. It is definitely a must-stay hotel, as the staff is welcoming and helpful to assist with any of your needs. A 5-star hotel.

This hotel was in a great location , close to everything. Staff was friendly and it felt super safe. I had hot water and AC and they helped with transportation from the Airport. It is a beautiful little hotel , very well taken care of. My only issue is one night I came back in and I found what looked like termites on bed (not bed bugs I definitely checked), I asked for a new blanket and replaced it since it seemed to have fallen from the wooden roof and were just laying there , the next day I found saw dust which confirmed it was termites. I didn’t have a huge issue with it since it was otherwise a great stay but just want to mention it incase it’s an issue for someone, in all fairness my friend stayed in the same hotel in a different room during the same time and had none so it could just have been that particular room. Besides that I would absolutely book again if back in Antigua.

The property is small with only 9 rooms so it is very intimate and private. The service is excellent and the rooms are clean, big enough. The only concern is no AC so if the weather is hot, this might be an issue. It was warm when we were there but we were fine. There is a recessed fan but ceiling fans would be great (and an easy addition!)

The rooms are small but the quality of the bedding is very good. The best part of this place is the fact that is at an excellent location. The bathroom is very small and the staff is not very accommodating around the Holy Week as they have the place full and no extra sheets are given. There is no A/C but there is a fan, I wasn't happy about it. The place is nicely kept, the breakfast menu is very limited.

Beautiful, historic hotel but won’t book it next time. Nightly rate (double of other places) didn’t seem to make sense.
Lots of street noise, no a/c (plug in fan we requested from front desk did help some), furniture in room was mini sized and not comfortable. It is very close to the main plaza but everything in Antigua is walkable, so next time I’ll book further away from the main square.

We had a fantastic stay at the Antiqua hotel, despite the compact room size, which we were prepared for based on reviews. Monica played a pivotal role in ensuring our transition from another hotel was seamless, especially during a busy weekend. Her attentiveness and professionalism were truly commendable. Additionally, Rudy and the night staff at the front desk were exceptional, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the hotel. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made our stay memorable. We appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the entire staff at Antiqua. Special thanks to Monica for making our time here enjoyable!

Such a beautiful and cozy place in the heart of Antigua! The view from the terrace is amazing, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The stuff is very helpful, thanks a lot to Monica for always being so attentive and meeting us with the smile every day! Breakfast is included and we really enjoyed it! Staying in this hotel we saved a lot of money not taking Uber, as many places are a walking distance. I definitely recommend this hotel and will choose it for our next stay in Antigua!

The staff speaks English and it’s right next to the square!!! Stayed two night one night I booked just to have a safe placed to store my luggage. They placed it in the room and had the door securely lock when I got back. Very safe, this hotel have two entrance gates and you have to be buzzed in.

The bed sheets were dirty full with hair that's unacceptable.

We had a wonderful stay, visiting from the US. The room was comfortable, the bed slept well, the breakfast was delightful, and the staff was pleasant, friendly, and very helpful. The location was convenient for visiting sites around Antigua. The provided transport from the airport was extremely helpful. And the staff was able to coordinate a volcano tour for us, which was great.

We are so happy that we found this hotel through hotels.com. They arranged a shuttle from and to the international airport in Guatemala City, which worked really well. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help guests. (A special shout-out to Monica who mans the front desk during the day). The hotel is right in the center of old Antigua, so it's very easy to walk to many of the sights.

This is beautiful hotel with lush gardens, lovely free breakfast. Staff were all so nice! Right in the heart of Antigua! Not a lot of English spoken, but we made it!
