Special thanks to Salman and Awwad for an unforgettable experience. We were warmly welcomed which made our stay at wadi rum even more special. Shout out to all the Indian staff working there, thank you for sharing your spicy food with us. Awwad made the jeep tour really fun and exciting. A jovial young chap.

Salmon and all the staff at Beyond were incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic throughout our trip and the tours were easy to arrange. Our tent was very comfortable for the three nights we were there. I would strongly recommend the Jabal Umm ad Dami hike, it was a highlight of our time in Jordan.

This was our first time visiting Wadi Rum and we couldn't be happier with our decision to stay at the Beyond Wadi Camp. The entire experience was overall great.
Salman and his team are incredibly hospitable and welcoming. From the moment we arrived at the Wadi Rum village, directions and next steps were communicated to ensure we were able to arrive to camp.
If you are staying overnight, we recommend opting for the buffet dinner that they offer. The food quality and the presentation was good. If you're staying multiple nights like we did, do not expect different food options over the course of multiple nights (which is expected when you're catering to a property in the middle of the desert).
The Jeep Tour that they offer is a must do. We ended up doing the full day tour (10am - 7pm) and felt like we got . a terrific desert exploration experience. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and catering to our needs. Highlights included our lunch ( nap) on the side of a mountain and the sunset viewing *with tea).
The only negative aspect of our stay was the lack of AC in the rooms (which we somewhat expected).
All in all, we highly recommend staying at the Beyond Wadi Rum camp.
Thank you Salman and team!

Beyond Wadi Rum camp has become one of my favorite places to visit and enjoy the unforgiving and beautiful landscape. The host Salman is one of the nicest people I've met. The hospitality has been excellent! Thank you to all the people who have made my experience even more memorable

Staying at Beyond Wari Rum was magical! Once in a life time experience, staying in the desert wilderness and my wife even managed to have a hot shower! Very impressed!

Stayed here for one night while visiting Wadi Rum. The owner is friendly. The scenery in Wadi Rum and the location of this camp is truely incredible. The tent was clean and comfortable. Personally found the dinner and breakfast underwhelming. Dining area sofas and chairs need a good cleaning. Camp was somewhat noisy during the day with a generator operating at the neighboring (under construction) camp.

We had a nice stay at Beyond Wadi Rum Camp, and met some really lovely people (the experience is what you make it).
Positives: dinner was really nice, guests and staff were super friendly, gas heating in tents was excellent (and necessary in winter!), camp located near little bridge and other walkable sites.
Negatives: bedding appeared to be not clean (and blanket smelled), experiences (4WD, hiking etc) were very expensive, food was sometimes great and sometimes not so great, hot water was a lottery (appeared to work more in the female bathroom and not so much in the male bathroom, and I did not get a hot shower during our two night stay).

Beyond camp went way beyond our expectations! Friendly staff, warm tent even in the middle of winter, amazing surroundings. The jeep tour was great and we also did a short camel ride after checking with Born Free that it was ok (it is 😊). Lots of extras included that we didn't expect like Bedhouinusic and dancing, a starwalk, a fire and the food was amazing - plenty of choice (even for a vegetarian) and lots of it! Would highly recommend 😃😃

What an amazing experience. My buddy and I wanted to checkout Wadi Rum and the whole team was stellar. You can book all the tours when you arrive and make sure you do the dinner! Will definitely bring my girlfriend here one day.

I left Wadi Musa (Petra) at 6:30 a.m. by a private bus (the official is the Jett bus that runs only on the afternoon to Wadi Rum). Each passenger is left on a specific place in the village of Wadi Rum. Some minutes later came a driver, who took me and another guy to the office, where Salman, the owner, was waiting for us. This driver also drove us in the tour. I took a 5 hours tour, that I really recommend for those who are going to stay one night. The camp is just beside "the small arch", one of the atractions of the tour. The tent was clean and warm. The w.c. was shared. It was also clean and has hot water. The manager Aoda was very kind and helpful arranging me a taxi driver, who took me the next day to Aqaba. Dinner was good. The main house is simple and need a little bit renovation, but considering the desert, post covid time etc, it's just a suggestion.

El sitio muy bonito, hemos sido 10 personas. Estuvimos 2 días en el desierto haciendo excursiones que valen mucho la pena. Los guías muy amables y atentos. La comida muy buena y el sitio muy limpio. Sitio muy recomendable.

Very nice people. The place is realy nice for the view. If you stay 2 or 3 nights, prepared to eat the samething each day, but it's good.

Best search elsewhere. I paid 40 JOD (£40) for a 2 hour tour in a jeep and it was less than an hour with the remainder time sitting drinking some tea. I noted this to the owner - Salman however he brushed it off and did nothing. The place seems to be just churning out people so no personal touch and things are done for the sake of it - very commercial. I stayed in a camp in Little Petra and was far more intimate and true to a real experience.

If you want a quiet, restful and unique experience stay at Madi Rum. We looked over a few sites, went camel back riding and then finished up at camp. You have an opportunity to talk to other travelers or sit in the desert and enjoy the slow pace and beautiful scenery. Our tent was heated and we were very comfortable. The traditional dinner was so yummy.. it sent us back to the basics and we all loved it.

Excellent service, Salman was a great host. I recommend the 4x4 tour and the traditional Jordanian Zarb dinner meal.
The rooms were comfortable but keep in mind the power outlet in your room is in the UK format and to bring a towel.

Excellent experience! The camp was great with everything you need, most importantly the location was brilliant, people friendly and interesting and very well organised. Can't fault it.

My girlfriend and I stayed just one night, but we enjoyed it. The meal, while pricey, was quite tasty and there was more than enough food. The beds were clean and so were the bathroom facilities. The owners spoke pretty good English and were very accommodating. My only complaint was the instant coffee that was served for breakfast.
2.0 / 5.0
Dinner was lovely but the staff looked tortured during the “cultural music and dancing.” Would rather have just had background music throughout dinner rather than awkward silence followed by forced fun. The bedding was super clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy (mainly the foul) but cold and no one bothered to warm the tent in the morning, so we were cold. It seemed like they were just ready to get rid of us. Prices for excursions were not given before and we felt tricked and up charged by the Jeep tour which was basically just a drive to camp (which had to be done anyway) with stops. I would recommend staying in a place that is all inclusive of meals and excursions to avoid surprise expenses.

very good facilities, there was good showering facilities and modern toilets in the middle of wadi rum!

One night stay in Wadi Rum desert with jeep tour and sunset watch
1.0 / 5.0
The camp was absolutely beautiful and had some rock formations nearby to climb and watch the sunrise. We arrived later in the afternoon and didn’t have time to do a Jeep tour that night. The owner arranged for us to watch the sunset, go to camp and do a tour the following day. He was super helpful! The rooms were surprisingly warm, and the food was good. The toilets/showers are not available in each room, but have a separate block just 1 minute away from your tent

Great location and view, comfortable bed. Dinner is nice.
- Stayed at a different camp in previous visit in wadi rum, comparing to those bedouins and their attentiveness... there’s not much engaging conversation/activities at the camp by the staffs or salman. Showers are a bit gross.

Awesome experience! Great hosts. Recommended.

looks like all offers in wadi rum are awesome, but after taking a full day jeep tour and seeing other tents from afar, we concluded that ours were more solidly built, with tile floors and a proper building for toilets and showers. The extra costs for transport are something that need to be factored in, as well as the fact that for full tours, they will sometimes try to combine groups. We were asked very politely and declined to merge with another group. It was unseasonably cold and windy on our two night stay, and the heater kept us relatively warm, and the communal room had a nice fire and self service tea. this camp is right next to the small rock bridge, perfect for sunrise and sunset. Our tent room was impeccably clean when we arrive; winds didnt keep it that way but it was shocking how even in the desert, cleaning staff managed to get crisp white bedlinen and a shiny clean floor.

Amazing experience. Great family day and evening. Tents and beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend.

I’m struggling to write my review as it’s such a difficult place to review. We went fully expecting to stay in a traditional Bedouin camp so I wasn’t expecting perfection, I knew it’d be basic but it was certain elements which marred my view.
Eg- it was extremely remote and freezing cold and toilet facilities were basic, I was ok with this but the square tents all lined up like eurocamp didn’t feel very rustic. The lunch served was awful, nothing traditional all sealed packs of bulk buy cakes, juice and hummus but the dinner was amazing vegetables and chicken all cooked under ground in the traditional way. The traditional entertainment was good but then blaring Britney Spears out at 11pm wasn’t my ideal. You are totally reliant on them to transport you back to the village. We were told to be ready between 8-8.30 for our lift and they just left there with our bags. We asked several times but the guy didn’t speak English so we didn’t get offsite until 10am. Wouldn’t stay again.

Amazing hospitality, breathless views and amazing food. The music and dancing was also a lot of fun.

An altogether wonderful stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and, despite my concerns as we visited in winter, cozy warm. The food, cooked in a buried oven under the sand, was delicious. And the landscape was spectacularly beautiful.

Nice, secluded location with wonderful views of the expansive desert and sunrise over the hills. The staff was welcoming, dinner was very good and it offered a nice taste of Bedouin life.

the camp is very quiet, great hosts, great food, you get the authentic Bedouin experience for sure.
