The location on the lake is extremely beautiful. All the cabins are private, secluded, and have a nice view. The staff were professional and pleasant, and the host was especially helpful with recommendations for what to do during my visit (everything was closing early for the season due to the coronavirus crisis). Meals in the restaurant were well prepared and presented.

It’s essentially having a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Stunning view. It was peaceful and so easy to relax. I recommend driving/getting there before it gets dark because the road is so curvy and hilly. Breakfast was delicious – cooked to order eggs, homemade yogurt, fruits, and breads. The owners were so gracious and kind. I would definitely return! If you’re arriving late in evening, remember to call ahead.

The cabins are very nice and cozy with a beautiful view on the lake and mountains and direct access to private beach. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The El Mirador is certainly worth a detour. Great restaurant and Pisco Sour! Unfortunately, the kitchens in the cabins are not fully equipped.
