Beautiful surroundings, a nice swimming pool and a well equipped kitchenette. The bedroom is meagerly
designed as narrow space and is totally uncomfortable if you are a big person. The stuff is not very helpful, the facilities are really basic - no proper bar or lobby - and the hotel regards guests as a cash machine

First of all, our front desk informed us that this is not a hotel, and it’s an apartment. There was no service at all, no room cleaning in 5 nights stay, and barely gave us new toilet paper after 3 days. Nothing “included” in the price, even swimming pool towels are extra charge. They say the pool is free (!!) but towels are extra.
4-person room was not good for 2 couples. One “double” bed was too short so I could touch another wall with my feet, another couple had a bed that looked like a joke - one part on the floor another is super small.
We always had to take stairs to our room because elevator was taking 5-7 minutes to arrive. Staff was unhelpful and just asked for extra charge for everything.
On the good side, the paid breakfast was good, and hotel is close to the ski lift.

Staff were great, room was large but space was poorly utilized. They're weren't enough boot warmers for a ski hotel of its size. Great location to the lifts.

It’s in a great location for many beautiful trails and gondola lift within short walking distance. Hotel is very clean and spacious. However, there’s no air conditioning and it gets really hot. You can always hear people talking in the balconies while trying to sleep. It is right in the main road where you can hear traffic all the time.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to Groste.

Their sauna is for additional cost.Sauna itself is nothing special there, but you have to book first and you can’t go when you want, All this system compared with other hotels where you go if you want to sauna is quite annoying.
It is mainly management problem, how the system was created and not so much about staff, but total feeling was not very friendly.
Also room walls are so thin that you lived with your neighbours

Everything in place. The only thing that upset us is that there was a rule of using swimming cap at the pool, we bought 4 for the family and when we arrived at the pool, half of the users were NOT using a swimming cap!
I felt foolished by the hotel 'rules' !!!!

Our stay at the Ambiez was overall very satisfactory. The facilities and rooms were great, the location to the lift was amazing, the food was good, but best of all, the staff was the best part.
We had a few frustrating issues during our stay in Madonna Di Campiglio, but the hotel was very helpful in going through extra trouble to help us out. One issue was related to a ski equipment rental company, and the hotel arranged a solution for us. We also almost missed our bus because all of the taxis were unavailable in the town, but the hotel staff used one of their own personal vehicles to drive us to our bus stop. It was the little efforts of kindness that made our stay very well worth it.

The only really good thing about this hotel is that it is so close to two of the lifts for skiing. The other thing I liked about it was that it had a deal with one of the ski school and rentals shop which made it easy for us to organize everything.
The rest of our stay was just okay. The staff at reception are good and some of the staff in the restaurant are ok, but some of the staff didn't seem to want to be there.
The one bedroom apartment is more like a studio with very thin partitions which means that the double bed in the middle is closed off by two partitions and a short wall with no way of getting air in there. And the bed touched the wall. My husband and I are less than 6 feet tall and we could touch the wall with our feet when lying down.
And it is not sound proof! We could hear our neighbors until very late in the night.
And the thing that irked me the most is that they made us buy our own toilet paper! They didn't even have it at the hotel to buy. You had to go into town to buy it!
I will look for a different place if we ever plan on going back to Madonna di Campiglio.

This is probably the best hotel in term of ease of access to the main ski lifts

Nice residence with a great indoor swimming pool close to a cable cart

Great room, although our room (#308) was very confusing to find, because it was located in a complicated part of the building quite far from the reception desk and not marked on any of the hallway maps. We ended up needing someone from reception physically guide us to the room, doh. Breakfast buffet was an awesome value, really tasty and abundance food options. The staff was also very helpful assisting us with bus schedules. The only other issue we had was with the pool. First, there are not separate pool towels located at the pool; you are expected to take the towels from your room (something that I have seen discouraged at other hotels). Taking towels from the room wouldnt have been a problem except that our room was, as previously mentioned, at the far opposite side of the hotel as the pool (also we had already showered in the pool area and didnt want to trot through the hotel soaking wet). Secondly, the hotel requires everyone to wear a swimcap in the pool, a policy which is not mentioned to guests prior to check-in. This information would be handy for visitors traveling from outside Italy who might not be aware of these sorts of rules (also the fact that they dont mention this ahead of time but happen to conveniently sell swimcaps at reception for 3 Euros struck us as a little tacky).Overall, a wonderful stay!

Nice enough hotel but could do with some updating. Great swimming pool and steam room/sauna but do watch it as everything has a price tag attached.

Pros: close to ski lift, nice indoor pool, restaurant is pretty good and nice view. The room is ok. The cons are: a few minutes drive to the center of the city, so you will need to take public transportation or a car to go to nice restaurants in the city. Now, the key thing you need to know is: there is no cleaning service! You need to pay extra for it. That is not clear when you make the reservation or in the confirmation letter. Quite disappointing. General feedback is that they need to get better at aligning expectations. The hotel is actually pretty good, but I often found people complaining at the reception desk.
