Lovely traditional property with very pretty vineyard and gardens. The staff were all lovely and thoroughly recommend the Assador!

The property is lovely and serene. The entire staff was very nice and attentive. Cooking class with Christina was a fun experience.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the rooms were large comfortable clean. The breakfast was delicious and in such lovely room. Our favorite part was the winery and restaurant on site, where we ate both nights of our stay. Food and wine were delicious and the service was fantastic.

This was the best place we stayed on our recent trip to Argentina and I wish we had stayed longer. The pool and winery were wonderful and we met lovely people in the very friendly family run finca. Our room was beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. The location is perfect for visiting the area or strolling to the village centre. And just a 30 mins cheap taxi ride to and from the airport.

Finca adalgisa is set in a small winery
We had suite with a terrace that was beautiful
It is well situated to visit local vineyards for wine tasting and lunch
The breakfast was very good
The asado which takes place was excellent with a variety of meats salads and vegetables
We didn’t do the cookery lesson but others spoke very highly of it
We didn’t hire a car and only used taxis that were very reasonably priced

Amazing! Everything was beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful, location is great and we will be back. This is an amazing property!

What a wonderful property. Staff is incredible and helpful

A beautiful small property with vineyards and a nice restaurant for tapas and of course, wine. We booked the cooking class and had a great time making empanadas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a break day and sat by the pool reading and enjoying the quiet. Great location outside Mendoza and towards Uco Valley.

Staff, food and scenery were all exceptional! Perfect little oasis

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Wife and I went for our honeymoon and I would highly highly recommend this gem for anyone, not just honeymooners. Staff were excellent and helpful, food was great, ambiance was warm and rustic/luxury. This place is a 10!

Lovely place to stay with an onsite vineyard and tasting room - staff were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful authentic Wine Estate with faultless service. Superb base for stepping off into wine region and outdoor activities
4.6
Glorious setting - a small old winery with outbuildings converted to beautiful large, well-appointed rooms. Easy to walk into the centre of the attractive small town of Chacras. Very well presented as a small boutique hotel with excellent facilities for adult leisure travellers. These include an attractive pool area surrounded by vines as well as an excellent BBQ set-up and a booking for which is highly recommended.

Very peaceful and close to everything we wanted to visit, mostly vineyards.
Excellent breakfast every morning with great service, loved the BBQ and esp the glad of Malbec every evening. Thanks to
Juan, Vicky, Clara and the rest of the staff our visit was wonderful.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was amazingly helpful; I was in touch with them via email prior to our trip and they helped arrange dinner reservations and winery visits. The hotel is located in a 100-year-old working winery. Some rooms are located in the original house, others are in a newer wing. Our suite was in a newer wing and it was like staying in a cool little apartment. The living room was comfortable with giant picture windows looking out on the lush greenery. The bedroom was spacious and had a fireplace (although we didn't use it because we went during their summer). The bathroom had a claw foot tub and open shower. Breakfast was served in the original wing of the property and featured fresh fruit grown on the property, along with made-to-order eggs and bacon. There was also cereal and yogurt. In the evenings, the hotel's own little winery is open to guests and you can get wine, sandwiches and generous servings of appetizers in a cool, lounge-like setting. I can't say enough about how accommodating the staff were. We had to miss the first three days of our reservation due to an emergency, and the staff remained in contact with us and assured us that the room was ready and waiting for us. I would gladly stay here again. My only gripe is that there was occasional noise from the property next door. Also, the town itself is so-so. However you can walk to some wineries from the hotel, and the hotel grounds are meticulously maintained--an oasis among vines.

Highly recommend this hotel- quaint, clean, friendly staff, close to wine country.

Beautiful grounds and facilities! Great complimentary wine and tapas every evening. Nice breakfast. Really enjoyed the gourmet quality food and service by the kitchen staff -- especially the cooking class and the asado. A Warm and welcoming staff. Really felt at home each night and enjoyed meeting other interesting world travelers.

Very friendly, professional and tentative staff. The hotel it self is well kept and attention to detail is there. The food and wine is excellent. Rooms are large and clean. The only negative is that WIFI is not available in the rooms at a reliable connection.

Physically speaking this is a lovely hotel. The positive comments end there. We should not have experienced the number of service issues we encountered during our stay at a "boutique hotel" of the caliber they claim. Issues included no hot water in the evenings (they turn off the water heater), noise, and no towels. It felt like we were being constantly nickeled and dimed too (charged for local Mendoza calls, $10 olives, etc.). All of the little things added up to two annoyed guests.

Neighborhood barking dogs made it more difficult to drift off to sleep in this beautiful, cozy, lovely place.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff are amazingly helpful. We probably arrived a little unprepared as we had no bookings for wineries or tours or anything. Melissa on the front desk organized a tour, a driver, a rental car and bookings for the next part of our trip in the Uco Valley, even though we would not be staying with them then. The light dinner with a glass of their wine overlooking their vines is wonderful & the pool in the heat of summer was a real treat.

We simply loved our stay at Finca Adalgisa. The staff is extremely attentive and pro-active in the effort to make sure our stay was perfect. Everyday at 6pm, guests may gather and sample complimentary wine and appetizers from their own bodega. It's an awesome place to chill by the pool, enjoy exclusive wine. I also highly recommend their cooking class.

Exceptional property and great staff. Noisy neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Great place once you're inside. People are friendly and very help[ful and nice setting and facility....So the people and place are great but it's on a main street with traffic and noise and pollution when you walk outside the compound..
4.6
Staff who work there are excellent. Rooms are large and well-appointed. however, air conditioning was weak and the water supply was frequently interrupted. The wine tasting in the evening was delightful, and breakfasts were excellent. However, the Finca does not have a restaurant, so lunching in is not an option...and the town of Chacras closes down completely for a siesta every afternoon. This is a fine place to stay if you are not planning to just "hang out and relax" during the day..

We were apprehensive when we approached this hotel because of the neighborhood but were pleasantly surprised by the grounds, vineyard and staff! None of the hotels in the other cities we visited could live up to our lovely stay at there!

My son & I loved this hotel. We arrived early on the overnight, First Class Andesmar bus from BA, having had our US$ stolen en route- there were only 3 other passengers & all the evidence points to the attendant so watch out for that! Fortunately, I had asked the Finca to send a car to collect us ( I recommend this in any case as the Finca is not signposted) & the driver was very helpful about taking us to the police station, translating etc. Anyway, once at the Finca, they were the soul of kindness- gave us breakfast, even 'tho it was past 11am, let us use our room immediately and so on. The hotel is in a great location, you can walk into Chacras, eat at Clos de Chacras- great food, great value- and tour their winery, take a tour and tasting at Bodega Pulmary etc, all without getting into a taxi (Note: almost all the wineries are closed on Sundays). In the evening, the Finca offer guests a glass of their wine with some cheese at their winery, open from 6-11 pm; its a really fun & friendly occasion. The breakfast is great- wonderful poached eggs- the staff are universally polite and helpful, the pool & garden are idyllic, the whole place is spotlessly clean, the dogs are adorable and the owner, Gabriela, is a star. Stay here if you can.
4.6
Very enjoyable stay at Finca. A good balance between tradition and modern facilities. The staff are more than helpful and they make you feel right at home. Very relaxing. Rooms are well kitted out with a decent shower and a proper hairdryer. Good breakfast and excellent coffee.
On the negative side, I would say it is slightly expensive compared to its competitors and annoyingly everything is priced in USD and not local peso. Plus, like most of the towns/cities in Argentina, the local dogs bark through the night, though this is a kind of tradition and the locals find this normal.
