Good place to stay nice quiet and modernised

This property is special. The house (B) is uniquely decorated. I have never seen such attention to detail in house interior design. It was warm and spacious and easily walkable to town. Would stay again and recommend it to others. The breakfast was also very good.

Overall, our stay at Corinda Contemporary was excellent. We stayed in the smaller of the two contemporary accommodations. It was, visually, just as depicted -- or even better. A very inclusive apartment with its own veranda -- an incredible variety of potential lighting, very comfortable bed, sofa, and chair. We experienced our only rainy day on our month trip and, thus, our need to more extended stay inside made us even more appreciative of the lovely environs -- a very pleasant afternoon, listening to an excellent jazz radio station with quality speakers.
Given these excellent attributes, we have two reservations. We eliminated several places more directly in town because the lack of free parking, which Corinda provided. That said, the location necessitates a 10 minute walk into town, which is fine going down but is a bit of trudge climbing back.
The other quibble has to do with the lack of food availability.
When we reserved our rooms, + reviews stated that we would find an ample amount of breakfast materials, Instead, the only "food" items in the room were various wines or liquors at a price, requiring the trouble of acquisition in town of any breakfast materials, even while the room guidelines stated other eating materials were available (at a cost) on request, but were not. Instead an elaborate catered breakfast IS offered in the main house but at a sizeable price. Given the expense of the room, this policy of all or nothing should be changed.

Wonderful house. We stayed at pavillion A and it was a perfect place for our vacation. Walking distance to wharfs, CBD, Royal Botanic Garden. The room was spacious and fully equiped.

Comfortable, clean accommodation with everything needed for a 4 night in Hobart. Shower room, separate bedroom, washing machine, open plan kitchen, diner and living room leading to a patio. Parking space outside. Great location for walking to the CBD, close to aquatic centre and botanical gardens.

The stay was just delightful. The accommodation was fabulous and the amenities were great.
The bath was amazing for a soak and that spa treatment.
The view of Mt Wellington from the property is one of my favourites.

The property has some really contemporary aspects which complement the old with the new so well.

Very self-contained. Bright and Comfie. Great modern living and quiet. Home away from home. Short walk to the city without being in the heart of the hustle and bustle. Hosts very accommodating. Shall return. This experience contributed to our first visit to Hobart and can't wait to return!

Corinda as everything you need! A fantastically renovated property close to town with is very well appointed and styled. Amazing views of Mount Wellington from nearly every room. Julian was attentive as host and made sure we’d settled in. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer to enjoy this speculator house more!

OMG what an amazing “cottage” which was really an apartment that you would want to live in anywhere in the world. Everything was there that you needed for a warm and comfortable stay and only 5 mins from the CBD. Apartment A was the trendy cottage and we loved it. 5/5

One of the best places we've stayed to date. The hosts were very welcoming, we arrived earlier than expected and this was not a problem. Breakfast is provided (enough for 2 people for a few days) and Leah made the best fresh loaf of bread on our arrival. The unit had everything one could need and the quality of the furnishings & fittings was excellent. The gardens are just beautiful. The property is located close to town. Will definitely stay here again at this outstanding place and will bring the family too.

Meticulous kitchen utensil that I hadn't expected.

Nice house, vintage outside and modern inside. We can find almost everything needed in the house, including kitchen suppliers, heater in bathroom, ipod player…just like at home. If the wifi signal is better, it will be a perfect one.

The accommodation is top notch. Stylish, designer appliances. Lots of space. The house next door, historic Corinda, is associated with the 2 on 2 cottage. Corinda has been featured on many Australian garden shows. Our caretaker host Stuart was a gem- friendly and fun- Hobart would not have been the same experience without him. More private and better accommodation than most hotels, but still walking distance to the CBD. Little goodies were left in the fridge for us for breakfast. Would only stay here if in Hobart.
