Room was nice but very dark! Cable didn’t work for two days!! Nightlite didn’t work!! And couldn’t be fix! The breakfast was nice ! Staff were nice! a few comun areas in the hotel! Reception is depressing because there is not decor very plane! Pool ok very small but great views

This is the second time we've stayed here and this is an improvement on last time. The room is quieter and a little more space. Last time the ac rattled away all night but this time it is much better. Great location in Cartagena

I stayed at GHL Arsenal Hotel in Cartagena to celebrate my cousin's 37th birthday, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From arrival to departure, the hospitality was superb, thanks in particular to Alfonso, who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable.My cousin wanted to get her hair braided at a local salon, and Alfonso expressed concern about the area. He arranged for a trusted person to safely take us there and back. He treated us like family, ensuring we felt safe and cared for throughout our stay.While my cousin was out, Alfonso helped us find decorations to surprise her when she returned. Not only did he direct us to the right shop, but he personally walked us there! Later, the hotel also delivered a small birthday cake to her room, which was a wonderful surprise.On the morning of my cousin's birthday, the staff surprised us again by singing "Happy Birthday" as she came down from her room—a beautiful and unexpected gesture that made the celebration even more special.The hotel was very accommodating when we had to check out early for an excursion but had a late flight. They let us use the pool area to freshen up, which we greatly appreciated.Breakfast was amazing with a variety of fresh fruits, tortillas, chicken, and attentive staff. And the rooftop infinity pool with stunning views of Cartagena was the perfect way to unwind. I can’t wait to return!

Stayed at this property from 24 Aug - 29 Aug 2024. The staff from check in - Louis Alphonso, and other lady on the Front Desk whose name dismisses me, the breakfast team, Pompano, Lilibeth, Wendy and Virginia, the concierge/tour desk were all amazing. This is an amazing property, right in the heart of Cartagena next to the Convention Centre with a unique team who look after the guest. An amazing stay.

Excellent stay., everything was at walking distance The only thing was the Air conditioner on the 4th floor was not comfortable. In addition the window for the bathroom was opened and it would not close completely. Need to have that window repaired and consider adding a more sufficient air conditioning system.

Beautiful hotel. Very cordial staff. Excellent rooftop pool as well as breakfast area. We had a standard room and it was a bit small as it had a king size bed. That was our only complaint and it was a very small one.

Extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. Alfonso was amazing in taking care of us. Hotel is close to the old city, walkable distance to major spots. We felt safe. The hotel is very clean, comfortable beds, the view is incredible, breakfast is delicious and included. Can’t say enough about this experience at this hotel. Highly recommended

Hotel is in a great location, rooms and interior is really nice. Also enjoyed the infinity pool area. Also, front desk staff were super nice and helpful. What made me question if I book again is the breakfast buffet which is great but with birds landing in the food and eating and waliking on the food offered. A definate turn off for me from a hygene perspective.

The hotel was centrally located to many popular activities. It was a short walk to the walled city and also a short walk to the dock. The personnel was friendly. The breakfast was excellent. A lot of variety food items to choose from. Salads, fruits, fajitas It was great. The waiters were excellent. There is a catholic church super close also.

The staff are very accommodating, we were able to get our room early and we’re happy to give advice on how much things should cost when we went out into the city (ie. a taxi to Bocagrande). The hotel is immaculately clean and there was always someone available in the main lobby. There is construction and renovations at surrounding hotels and they start early but it didn’t impact our stay.
