It exceeded my expectations.. we had a good time.. although we planned for 3 nights which is little longer.. 2 nights is ideal.. food was good.. rooms and tents were very nice.. the evening program was also very nice.. we enjoyed their jeep safari and camel ride.. ATV (quad bike) was not good.. would recommend to anyone.. they have perfect location..

We had two Deluxe Tents for two nights stay. This was our first experience of staying in the desert tent and it was quite a thrilling one. Package included stay, b/f, dinner, camel safari to Sam Sand Dunes & evening entertainment program. Except b/f & dinner everything else we enjoyed. We had a jeep safari to 3 different spots in the desert which was quite thrilling experience. During the day we visited nearby Kuldhara village ruins & Khaba fort which were good places to visit.

Although the camel experience was very commercial it was perfect for a family as it gave us a taste of being on a camel without being hard out trek for several days which would probably suit the backpackers better. The whole experience was very good value with dinner, camel ride, breakfast and a show being included. The staff were great and there was plenty of variety on the buffet.

Picked up this hotel just for the location and the reviews that mentioned about the proximity to Sam Desert. Except the location nothing else was great. We stayed there on the new year's eve and were forced to pay Rs.1500 per person as resort fee, for the Musical night that was organized.
Rajasthani folk artists performed until everyone was knocked out dead... The dance by seven Rajasthani folk dancers were not at all in sync with the music. If they were to really promote Rajasthani folk arts, they should learn from the Dharohar Folk Dance program conducted at Bagore Ki Haveli, Udaipur. This was followed by a DJ night, wherein the staff were dancing more than the guests. Lot of guests left even before new year rang in. The Dinner and breakfast were below average.
Many of the rooms didn't have running hot water. our room didn't even have a heater. And nothing was told at the time of allotting the room. The attitude of the staff was worse... For any questions asked about reservation, they asked us to contact Expedia...In one word this is cheating and this place is run by Cheats.
Check in is at 3:00 PM and Check out at 9:50 AM? We had to hire another hotel in the city to freshen up, paying additional money.
Better stay elsewhere and it doesn't take much time to drive to the desert.

Room was not maintained well and toilet was not working. But the cultural program at night was nice and had good artists.

We were hungry in the afternoon but the hotel had nothing to offer us but pickle. The toilet seat was clogged. The evening dinner had a little too much oil.

We had booked two tents for two nights. On the day we checked in we were alloted a very substandard torn tent . The next day we were alloted another two tents which was fairly ok.
Was not pleasant staying there.

Went on a leisure trip to Jaisalmer and stayed in KK Resort tents for a night. The tents are stinking and dirty and so are the linens. The evening program was satidfactory but could have been lot better. It was too dirty for the price paid. The bathrooms were not cleaned for days and was filthy. DO not recommend this Resort unless there is not other resort.

Deluxe tent offered was horrible. Alternate arrangement offered was just satisafctory. Next day cottage was offered. Food is average. Over priced for the facilities. Sincere advice just avoid the dunes resorts. Just evening safari is enough.
