This truly a wonderful hotel! I'm a solo traveler and have stayed here several times. I've never been disappointed! The "Spoons" restaurant inside closed last weekend but they told me they are looking for another restaurant to fill that void.

We felt safe at this property being that the police department was just across the parking lot. Quiet in that we didn't hear anyone out in the halls or next door to us. I like little extras like a safe and fridge.

When I arrived I was checked in quickly. They gave me the particulars of the keys and how to make sure that the lights worked in the room. My stay was great. The next day when I returned back to the hotel from work, I couldn't find the remote that I had the night before anywhere. I called the front desk and the receptionist came up first with 2 remotes and then a 3rd (which finally worked) to make sure that I had a remote. I thought that was great that she was willing to try different ones. The patio outside the restaurant was very comfortable and clean also. Breakfast was decent and the Tequila Chicken Penne that I had for dinner Thursday night was tasty. If I am back in the area I will look into staying at this hotel again.

The hotel was clean and has a nice front entrance and pool/hot tub and gym area. Rooms are decent sized and pull out couch bed was great for our daughter. It is annoying to have such beautiful curtains and they have screws on the top bars so you cannot open them up and let light in the room. Also, the breakfast offered is very basic and underwhelming and they give you a breakfast voucher that you are in charge of holding on to and you are not supposed to take any food back to your rooms. Very weird and disappointing vibe in that aspect. Check out was quick and easy and no additional charges to debate.

First time visiting Huntington Beach area. Booked with Ayres. We’ve stayed in an Ayres hotel before and we were very happy with the hotel. Ayres Fountain Valley was excellent. Very clean, large room with good size bathroom with shower and good size tub. The hotel was near Police Department and we always felt safe and was not noisy. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. Will definitely stay again.

Had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable; although the mattress was a little soft for me. Breakfast was tasty and I really like that it was cooked on site and refreshed through the service time. Staff was friendly and helpful. A bonus was onsite parking without an additional charge.

Pros: 1. The staff was very helpful and well mannered. 2. The overall condition of the property is good. Cons: 1. I had very hard time find parking when I came back around 11pm. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes for me parking to get empty. 2. The breakfast is cheap. No nuts and no good vegetarian options.
