This is a great place to stay. No frills, but lovely spacious apartment, clean with decent facilities. The staff are lovely, they remembered us from last year! Superb location, a stones throw from the ESF ski school drop off. Excellent value - would highly recommend!

This was our fourth stay at MMV St Foy and was fantastic as always. The staff are very friendly and helpful and everywhere is immaculately clean. The spa area and pool are great for tired legs after a day on the slopes. The location of the residence is also fantastic with just a short walk to ESF ski school. My only slight criticism is that the property could do with a refurb and especially new carpets and sofas.

Nice apartments, convenient for the ski lifts
4.3
Great location at base of slopes where the ski schools take off from and end, and the centre of the family apres ski activity. Large apartment with wonderful views down the valley. Two bathrooms but only one toilet was a small design oddity in a family apt. Clean on arrival and it only required us to do a basic bin empty and kitchen clean on departure with professional cleaners coming in after included.
Swimming pool could be better and was a bit off-putting to go to. There are two apartment buildings that are unlinked meaning you had to walk across in cold to get to it, no dressing gowns supplied and the changing area was very odd design with only a few changing cubicles.
Very friendly staff. There are organised activities every evening.
Easy to park, a bit on the costly side at €70. There was some free external parking dotted around the resort which you could use if you were not planning to move the car all week.
Big ski lockers. Very short walk 30 metres maybe to front de neige. Usual cramptness in morning I'm afraid with opening and closing doors to let people by.
4.3
Great location at the foot of the slopes. On top of ski set and supermarket. Opposite 2 great food and wine bars. Spacious apartments. Good easy access boot room. Beds a little firm.

The little village is lovely. Our apartment was dirty when we entered (literally food remains etc) I guess it hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival (we paid Eur 80 for early check in).
For the first day/night, no heating in the apartment and no power to one of the rooms. (They did resolve that). I had a massage which was nice! Great area and convenient ski room. We would stay again if it was clean next time.
4.3
As always, it was a good stay at the property. Only frustration is the limited opening hours of the reception.
4.3
perfect location and great set-up

Excellent location
One toilet when two bathrooms not so practical
Would be better if spa free until 5pm
Overall very good stay

Would go back as lovely resort.

The apartment had wonderful views. The reception staff were more than helpful. Convenient for ski & snowshoe walks.
4.3
Unbeatable for the price. Perfect position, great room (upgraded to 3 bed), friendly staff and lovely warm pool. Would happily revisit.
4.3
Place is great for family holidays, clean, spacious and close to slopes.
4.3
The apartment was spacious but poorly designed with effectively no drying area, no hooks for towels etc. Ski room is just an unheated cupboard with no rack so boots left there dry may end up wet in the morning. Swimming pool facilities are basic. Changing room floor a swap, pool freezing (we regularly wild swim in the north of Scotland it’s a similar temperature). Hot tubs are separate and for spa use only so frozen pool to plastic chair is the option. Check in was chaotic (seemed to be the same frustration for everyone). Location is fantastic. Great view from the balcony. The price point is low and standards reflect this so one should perhaps not be surprised by some quality issues. Albeit my frustration was that some very basic changes would make a big difference.

Absolutely fantastic location, very clean, only down side it the reception is not maned 24 hours

a very wonderful Christmas

I love this accommodation as it's so close to the resort centre and the staff are helpful & friendly.

Perfectly located in the heart of Sainte Foy station with easy access to the ski lifts, bars and restaurants. Great views and spacious apartments with parking garages. I've stayed here 3 times and it's always been great.

I feel very disappointed by both HomeAway and MMV due to the mis-selling of this property. These photographs no way reflect the apartment we were assigned on arrival. Our apartment (6 person) was much more cramped, far much less luxurious and did not even have an oven! This was not ideal for a Christmas break where we were hoping to cook a meal!
The WC was very small and doubled up as the cleaning cupboard. The heaters were badly scorched. There were only very small glasses to drink out of - no tumblers.
There were only 4 of us but we still struggled to hang clothing and towels etc - no hooks on back of doors. Although there was a TV, there was not one English speaking channel, not even a news channel.
I am mostly disappointed that my complaint regarding this property has been totally ignored by MMV - despite me emailing 3 times now including photographs. They are in a different country and ignoring my emails.
All in all, this has been was a poor experience and I would not book again. I would suggest you avoid this property.

The room/apartment was nice but not as stated on hotels.com website, the living/dinning room/common area was the main difference, layout was not the same as in the images which would not be an issue but it seemed it was smaller.
There were no free toiletries which was also listed as included in the room, having to buy shampoo, conditioner and soap (and toilet paper) for a week is a bit annoying when you don't expect to.
Service was a mixed bag, they were polite most of the time but not upon check-in and not being polite was not the problem: they did not have the room ready at the guaranteed time. We arrived before check-in time, at around 3 pm and they told us check-in is at 5 but room would be ready within an hour so no problem at all, we went for a walk and buy groceries and decided to went back at 5 pm to not put pressure on the check-in process but it turned out the room was not ready at 5 and was not for close to another hour and we had to wait in the lobby with our 3 daughters, including a 3 years old who's too active. One girl at the reception was polite and apologetic and asked her colleague if she could give me another room but she wasn't, she replied rudely that no way. I was not in the mood for a scene in front of my daughters and did not want to get stresses after a looong trip from the other side of the Atlantic so I sucked it up.
That being said and even though the trip started on the wrong foot, the building is nice and so is the apartment.

It's not a 4 star, told we could check in early for which there would be a charge. When arrived reception closed so called the number on the desk and no answer. 3 hrs later we were able to check in but missed our first afternoon of skiing .

Great hotel with afternoon childcare thrown in for free, ski in ski out location a stones throw from the lift. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Small but relaxingly warm pool.

Our first time skiing, 2 adults and 2 children under 10. Very spacious apartment with good cooking facilities and crockery supplied in the room. Incredible views across the valley from both the bedrooms and living room. We stayed in room -504.
Situated within 50 metres of the resort, including restaurants ski hire ski school and ski lifts. Beautiful place with lovely helpful people. Will be returning.

Location - Excellent.
Only a couple of minutes walk to the chair lift.
Apartment - We booked a comfort plus apartment. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (only 1 toilet though), small kitchen but big enough to cook (we did every night) which had a combi microwave oven, 4 ring hob, toaster, kettle, coffee machine & a good range of crockery & utensils. The only downside to the apartment. If there is 4 of you staying, there's only 1 sofa. So if you are driving, chuck in a beanbag or something similar. I read on other reviews the beds are hard. Now, I like a firm bed but even I was looking forward to getting back into my own! And the pillows are so, so. Again, if you are driving, chuck a couple in! The apartment is a good size. These was only 2 of us and a dog, but it would accommodate 4 comfortably.
Facilities - You're provided a free pass for the spa. We didn't use ours but I popped my head in, it it looked really nice. The car park is underground, and enough clearance to fit in a VW transporter or similar. There's a small supermarket next door, a nice wine bar/tapas place across the way and a ski hire shop next door also.
You're provided a locker for your equipment. Good size for two of you (fitted our boards, boots, helmets etc nicely). You would just about get four sets in at a squeeze.
Staff - Super friendly, kind and helpful staff. Couldn't fault them.
St Foy is a super resort, quiet and queue free lifts! We will return here and we would stay here again. Good value for money!

We enjoyed the Spa and the large comfortable appartment with a balcony.

really fantastic location. Hotel facilities are ok but very cheap and basic. The linen and bedding is good but the beds were really very uncomfortable, "like sleeping on a board" after a days skiing a comfortable bed is essential for me. The second bedroom in our 2 room suite, was without windows, small and resembled a prison cell, our daughter refused to sleep in it. She ended up with the double bed and my husband and I slept on the sofa bed, which was marginally more comfortable than the double bed.
4.3
Nice stay. Elevator took 12 mins on one occasion! Lovely views of distant mountains

This was my second visit to the apartments. We had a one bed room that was advertised as being big enough for 4 people (ie, there was a sofa bed as well). However, it was actually very small and 4 people would have been tripping up over each other. The main room measures only 4 metres by 3 metres - that is the kitchenette, dining table and sofa bed!! You can only just work at the cooking area because of the proximity of the dining table. That is why I have only given a 3 for room comfort. The bedroom and bathroom were, however, more generous in relative terms. Last time I stayed I had a 2 bed room for two of us and it was huge. The positives are that the apartments are very close to the chair lift (less that 5 minutes walk) and shops. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a pool (but its cold). And you get a 20% discount for ski hire (SkiSet shop) if you mention you are staying at the apartments. I will definitely return to L'étoile des Cimes but will probably pay extra for a larger apartment especially since there isn't anything to do in the village in the evening so you are confined to your room which therefore needs to be comfortable.
4.3
Having stayed at previous private chalets previously, I was a little skeptical of staying in a larger place, however I was pleasantly surprised and will certainly consider staying here again.
Though not ski in-ski out as a lot of people like, it is only a minutes walk to the piste and the first lift.
The room was spacious and comfortable and we were fortunate to get a lovely balcony view down the valley, awesome! Despite being a big apartment block it still has the traditional chalet feel with wooden trim, big heavy doors and nice decor to give it the right feel.
Close to bars/restaurants and has a tv if you fancy staying in.
