Not at all what is presented in images of hotel. Check-in is at 4:00. I paid an extra $71.00 to check-in at 12:00. The carpeting was stained and lifting up in places. The room was quite small and had a musty odor. some ceiling tiles had shifted off their frame. My wife and I decided to check out after one hour of being there knowing we would not be refunded

I would consider this a motel. Stairs Stairs and more stairs, I was not expecting. I did not care for two of the items I ordered, but I did enjoy the options. I won't be able to come back due to the stairs, and I just want to say that I was a little bummed at the decor. The bathroom was redone, however. I just want to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the room DID NOT smell of must as most beachside, on the beach hotels smell. I would recommend this place for someone younger than me without hip and knee issues. HAHA. I wish I knew how close we were to other amentities, such as a dining venue down the road, and live music next door. I love Westerly. And I was just happy to get a room still in season. I will be back if I can secure a first floor definitively. But I must mention that the guest behind me requested and called for a 1st floor and she dismayed that they gave her a 3rd floor- she couldn't cancel. I have no idea how she fared. ASK WHAT FLOOR YOU ARE ON, BUT BEWARE THEY MAY BE INACCURATE. I did dig the stay, however. Very pretty and on the ocean.

Overall experience was lovely. The views are impeccable and the location is perfect. Right on the beach! You have to request new towels and they do not clean your room daily. The area surrounding the pool could use some work and the pool was freezing. The restaurant is amazing, we couldn’t wait to eat there every day!

Amazing views. Everyone said it is renovated, however from the looks of it they only renovated the bathrooms. They really need to put down hard flooring in the rooms. The carpets are covered in germs and they do not shampoo the carpets in-between guest. I wouldn’t even let my kids walk barefoot in the room as you can just feel the dampness and most likely mold under the carpets. The air conditioner was right over our heads and woke us up everytime it went off and on. They should invest in central air as the air conditioners were rusty and moldy and smelt like fire. I was worried about my children breathing this in all night as they were coughing throughout the whole night all of a sudden. All we smelt was mold and fire smoke. They definitely need to assess the safety of their guests and do a rehaul especially with the amount of children that stay there. The carpets on the stairs from the main lobby are also disgusting. I didn’t feel clean the entire time I was there. Probably won’t be back.

Being oceanside is beautiful and relaxing ,even with the storm felt safe and comfortable, love the quaint decor and vintage feel , very happy with the updates to the rooms only drawback is not having a good option for quick bite for breakfast but coffee is great.

Although expensive, you are steps from the beach with many a variety of places to eat and shop. It is a quaint area with plenty of places to walk or drive to. Interior rooms with no views have a very damp smell to them. However rooms with sliding glass doors to the outside our very pleasant.

Staff were rude, very thin walls you can hear everything in the rooms next to you and above you. Prime location with great views/ beach access. Very overpriced rooms for what poor condition the hotel is in. Restaurant staff kicked me out of the outdoor patio/dining right outside of my balcony because I was not ordering anything and told me the tables are reserved for guests. When I told him I am a guest and provided my room number, he told me I still cannot sit there because I was not ordering anything and said the tables need to be saved for paying customers, despite the entire patio/outdoor tables being completely empty and despite me paying $1300 to stay here for the weekend that I was in town. Staff also do not monitor who parks in the guest parking lot so it’s impossible to find close parking since all beach goers take up the hotel parking spots- very inconvenient when you have suitcases and luggage to haul around.

Balcony was very small and when you sit in the chairs, all you see is a bar. At least put bistro type chairs so we can the ocean... The whole point to an oceanfront room, is to be able to see it! Room was also very small, shower barely large enough for one small person. Hotel was nice aside from the maze of hallways to get anywhere, but not worth the price and there is no area for smokers to go to. We will not go back.

Its very dirty and needs updating outside on the building.They dont go out of there way to help you if youre disabled. King size bed. The shower was too small. . The available beach is shared with other renters across the street.
