Excellent location very close to everthing.

Good location & amazing staff.

The entrance was a bit diaspponting, dirty stairs but then everything was excellent. A bit noisy because the hotel is in Main Street, very near The Duomo. Everything is nearby even the railway station!
1.5
Hotel has a great location but not easy to find, elevator to small and too noisy at night.
5.0
Great location but noisy at night

It is great location! Easy to walk everywhere. Air conditioning is amazing and cools it down very quickly. It is a bit noisy at night with the street cleaners, rubbish trucks and early hour restaurant shipment. Overall it was great
4.0
Great location! Close to everything

Our visit was great! Unfortunately a fuse tripped on our floor and the emergency number they gave us/the number on the website did not work. We had no power all night, which means no air conditioning either so it was an uncomfortable night with the heat. As long as you don’t have any emergencies after 9pm it’s a great place. Everything else was great!

Place was clean and nice overall. Walking distance to all major attractions, 2min walk to the main cathedral, 10min walk to the main train station. The breakfast option that the hotel offers was the best from our stay in Italy
2.0
The rooms are not as advertised and someone came in our room without knocking in the morning. There is also no American tv, beds are terrible and uncomfortable. I guess you get what you pay for. The location is decent and within walking distance to everything. That’s the only upside.

A great place to stay when visiting Florence! We had a family room (1 double bed, 1 double sofa bed). Happy to report the room/s were spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, nice crisp bed linen and well equipped. Tea/coffee/fridge/bathroom bits and bobs included! The breakfast isn’t in the same building but in a restaurant about a 3 min walk away. Nice place though and a pretty decent buffet breakfast with good coffee so not a problem for us. Our room was facing the rear of the building so very quiet.

The staff was excellent and extremely helpful!!! The property itself is not what was expected or as depicted in the pictures! Our first room wasn't anything like any of the pictures on Expedia at all. We are a family of 4 and there was not even a chair to sit in, so we had to sit on the floor.
We were able to change rooms and it was more appealing and comfortable. The staff was great in helping us through this process.
Breakfast was not great and not worth the additional cost . You can find good food nearby at the same cost .
I do feel the Expedia rating is deceiving. Location is good and walkable but not worth the discomfort of the quality of the stay .

Great Location.

Fantastic location! The room was comfortable and clean, and it was right near the duomo. The area was safe and there were lots of food options nearby. A great spot

The location was very good. We reached there after checking hours, the instructions for checking was very easy and clear

Location good for site seeing, very close to the cathedral, but the downside is its noisy late into the early hours especially when the refuse lorries empty the bins at 2am. Also great if you like chuch bells at 7am.

Could not be more central, safe, clean, aircon !!!

Nice location, but terrible room and bath. Hard to locate room, pillows rock hard, bathroom shower had hair ball, and the floors weren't very clean. Small bath for 3 and no place for your items. Did not respect do not disturb. Wanted to collect hotel tax before check out and was aggresive to collect, thus ignoring do not disturb and leaving notes on the door. Drab building. Do not recommend.

Very close to train station, 5 minutes walk. Also close to a grocery store. If you are visiting cinque terre, it is a great place to stay the night.

Perfect location! Everything we had on our list to see was walkable distance. The Duomo is so close and the bells tolling are beautiful.

Our stay was lovely. We were on there one night. The rooms are big but the aircon was way too small for the size of the room and the shower head needed replacing. The location is perfect. Very central. Bed comfy and everything clean and easy to use. Parking offsite was good also.

Great location hard to actually find as pictures were not of the same building. First floor was under renovation not that it was actually part of the hotel which was one floor up elevator not very good worked but not for me. Our room was small . Bathroom was nice, shower great. Noisy at night but not their fault. Location was perfect to Duomo

So close to center

Really nice B&B within walking distance from everything

Spectacular location near Duomo. Less than 10 minute walk to all major Florence attractions. Room was clean and comfortable. Strong WiFi. If you’re looking for a lot of space, this is not a good choice. If you’re like us and need only a good bed and hot shower, stay here.

Loved the location! It was so close to everything! Walkable and safe. The room was nice and clean. Overlooking the street. Many options to eat. The duomo was around the corner. It was perfect! Walking distance to main museums and shopping.

I liked the excellent service in our hotel. The ladies working there where extremely nice, competent and helpful. I honestly wish them well. What was close to a horror was our room (I think it was called Piagga). You gotta go to the upper floors only to open a door where directly after entering there are stairs leading to some kind of lair from hell. If this was America, they would be sued already after the first broken bone.
So, you gotta go a pretty long way down to your beds while being in your room already. Then you have just one window, looking outside to the backside of a building. Luckily there is a working air conditioner, because the air in the room is so bad because of the one and only window you have you gotta keep closed because a) pigeons might enter your room and b) there is somewhere a restaurant and you will be surrounded by the stink of grease. So air conditioner it is. The kids called the room after they where tired of museums "the basement". Lets go back the basement, they said. And it is a basement indeed. All the rooms around us doesn't have so many steep steps at all, I think we might be the only one.
The couch broke my back, I didn't want my kids to sleep on it. Can't still stand up properly.
Location is good, because everything is in the near.
The breakfast was inclusive, you get vouchers for a nice restaurant where there is a buffet. It's about 4 or 5 minutes away from the hotel and the people are there very nice and the food was more than decenttoo

This property was expensive for what you get. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The entrance had a foul smell and was run down. The noise from outside was difficult and the only window opened on a smelly courtyard- so we couldn’t escape the smell no matter what.
I would not recommend this hotel and since we had no choice because it was refundable, we stayed.

This is our second stay. This time we had a great big and clean room. The beds were very comfortable. This room was quiet. But the Hall door did not work at all, what made us feel unsafe (since this is a bed and breakfast with partial reception service. The reception is closed at night and there are no night guards).

The room was big and clean. The beds were very comfortable. But the room was nosy and the hall safe door did not work properly. The building needs maintenance.
