Lovely friendly and kind staff throughout our stay. We chose a basic room which is what we had. It was a little tired but everything one needed was there. Our main complaint couldn’t be helped by the Hotel as it related to the noise outside of late night party revellers. We had a downstairs room right at the front of the Hotel. We stayed one night; if longer we would have considered asking to move.Food excellent.

The dining room was lovely. The restaurant is definitely the highlight of this hotel. The layout of the hotel is very unique. The room had a lovely bathtub, very spacious. The room did not have many working outlets, so charging devices was a little awkward. The hotel is right next to the beach, so that was very convenient.

Hotel could be amazing, booked a junior suit, really smells of damp, not really a junior suit just a room with a bath tub in, shame

Quilt was stained when we arrived. It was changed but not offered anything. You know a drink at the bar , nothing. Supposed to be a delux room but was tierd especially the bathroom. Not delux and as you will know not cheap either. The hotel needs to sort a concession parking rate out aswell with the lanes parking. £ 40 overnight stay. Not good

The hotel was amazing, the room was extremely clean, tidy and very comfortable with everything we needed.
Very close to the seafront so we went for a late walk along the beach.
Breakfast wasn’t included but we paid the extra and it was great.
We will definitely go back again

Lovely hotel and well situated for everything Brighton has to offer. The room was wonderful and catered for every need. I didn’t eat at the hotel but the bar was very welcoming and the staff friendly. I was meeting family the day after I arrived so was on my own for my first night but didn’t want to spend my evening in Brighton alone in my room, lovely as it was. I am happy to say I felt very comfortable as a lone female in a cosy corner of the bar with a big glass of wine and my book and the complimentary nibbles made me feel truly spoilt. A wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful stay as a family of three. Our room was on the 1st floor and had everything we needed. The only things I could pick holes in was the room was dusty, skirting boards and low areas need a good wipe down and there is not a lift in the hotel, luckily for us we were 1st floor so had to carry the buggy not too far but any higher would of been a struggle.
We only had 1 issue which was when we booked the property it said children were free, however my 2 year old is tall so I requested a bed for him and then was told it would be £30pn charge only the day before, so we took our own blow up as I found this unfair.
Breakfast was 10/10 great selection and delicious foods.
We stayed for 2 nights and opted out for housekeeping and was giving a token for a “drink on us” which was a lovely touch!
I would like to say, the staff are a credit to the hotel. Really kind, friendly and nothing too much trouble, the wonderful lady at breakfast went above and beyond and looked after us a treat.
We loved Brighton and would highly recommend this place! & we will be back!

Lovely room, at the top of the hotel... I'm sure many people noted there's no lift. Staff were lovely and 24hr manned bar is a nice plus.

I have stayed here a good few times and the reason I keep coming back for a couple days regularly is that this hotel and staff are always welcoming and professional and just downright nice,

Great location and lovely staff. Only downside is lots of stairs to your room!

There is no elevator so the staff carried my bags to my room. The restaurant food was good but not great but the service was great. My room was very big with a claw foot tub and a rain shower. Room service was very good. excellent location, 12 step up a quiet lane across the street from teh beach.

Really warm welcome, which got things off to a good start. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was very good and lots of pillows which I like! Some of the furnishings seemed a bit mix and match which was a pity and I think there was a drawer missing from the desk. But overall very comfortable and worth mentioning a superb breakfast, freshly cooked to order.

The hotel is starting to get a little tatty. Cobwebs above shower head that didn't work properly. The hotel needs a little TLC.

Exceptional hotel. Comfortable, very clean, very friendly staff, large room. Shame they do not have guiness on tap. Loved the nibbles that are served with the drinks.

Great location and lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and quiet room even being so close to the seafront

Hotel was lovely to stay at, great location near the beach & lanes. Staff were friendly, room was nicely done & clean, hotel decor / bar & terrace were great.
Only issues were in the service: had to wait for ages at the bar on both occasions to get a drink (even though the hotel wasn’t busy), staff gave varying answers on wine availability (should know what & where wines are stocked), our room key stopped working & we had to go to the front desk a few times. Rang to ask about late check out and told we could have the room until 1pm, then surprised with a £40 fee on checkout. Just small things in staff training & communication. Otherwise had a great stay.
