Room had slight odor to it, no guide for TV, toilet had trouble flushing. Upon check in found the pool pump was broke down and not available, family had planned using it as part of the reason staying there.

So-so. Its obvious this hotel has not had good maintenance or thorough cleaning in quite some time. I can imagine it was once a decent hotel, but needs some extensive TLC.

The rooms are dirty, no plates for breakfast, ice machine dont work, linen on floor in hallway for entire time, marketplace completely empty. Couch has many stains.

There appears to have been a recent update to the furniture, so the beds, etc. are comfortable, clean, and in good shape. The carpet did have a tear or two, though. The big issue is with any of the few amenities you get at a La Quinta. The pool was closed. There is no food to buy in the market in the lobby and no food vending machines, only drinks. There were no coffee machines at the breakfast buffet. Additionally, there was no one at the front desk for at least 5 minutes when I and some other guests were trying to check in.

The bathroom sink was clogged and wasn’t repaired. The food for breakfast was awful.

Breakfast was very poor - no fruit, boiled eggs and yogurt. The hallways smelled damp. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We went to the hotel and were told the pool/hot tub room was closed. The man at the front desk was kind, but lied and said he would give me a refund, which was then refused by the hotel. I asked a few times about a refund if we go somewhere else, and he assured me we would get a refund. A few days later I find out that the hotel manager won’t actually approve it.

The hotel and staff were nice.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. It was poorly managed. Poor customer service. It seemed like there was 1 person running the entire hotel. We had a late check-in. We needed bedding and pillows for the pull out beds. We called the front desk and it was a busy tone. We went to the front desk and was told the hotel had no more extra bedding. He said they were in the middle of drying and that it would be ready in 30-40 minutes.

Had to leave hotel at 7 for dr spot.
Very little out for breakfast bar.
Price was right so will be back.

Ice machines on first and second floor did not work. Waffles stuck in waffle maker, The man working the breakfast was not helpful. There should have been some spray or something.

Person that checked me in,at the front desk, treats people terrible, you need to hire people, that like helping people!, don't hire people that have a hateful attitude towards your guests!!!

After mutiple times staying at this hotel, I am disappointed that the hotel has continue to go down hill. The breakfast this time was not good at all. No fruit, yogurt, bread, or anything healthy offered. Broken items are not repaired. It seems the care of facility is also not a priority.

The motel was very helpful, as we were in town for medical appointments. They actually allowed us to check in early. My 2 year old grandson locked the bathroom door and came out, and the office staff couldn't unlock it, so they gave us a different room with 2 queen beds instead of one king. The bed I was on was terrible. But it was our fault we got locked out of the bathroom, so I didn't complain. Also, the main reason I chose this motel was because of the kiddie pool. However, it was out of service. That was disappointing, but it happens. Overall, they try. It was clean. and they worked with us on check-in and check-out.

2 of The 5 pieces of workout equipment were broken. The hot tub had what looks like a diaper in the bottom of it about every ice machines broken people come in our room at 11 o’clock The night before we left double book the same room . Never had any cable TV the whole time we were there it was down and the kiddie pool was down also. The bathtub had mildew in it. They did refill our towels that were all used the next morning, but put her hand towels on the back of the toilet instead of the counter. Lastly, the floors in the hallways look stained and dirty

Near new hotel on south end of Rochester. Room was clean and in good condition. I was able to plug in my Tesla for a full charge overnight, reasonably close to entrance.
A few minor complaints. My Keoreg in room coffee maker didn't have any coffee pods with it. TV stalled I unplugged and plugged back in it restarted fine. Breakfast had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal toast, coffee and juice and not much else. It was okay I expected better.

One of the guests found poo stuck in the bathroom tub drain. Please make sure this is cleaned well.
Overall everyone enjoyed the stay there.

Our stay was very nice and it's a very nice hotel. However, there was a big SNAFU when we checked in a little before 2pm. They assigned us room 206 at first and gave us key cards. When we entered room, the prior occupants were still there. The front desk said they had requested late checkout, so we couldn't check in.
We were in Rochester for a large family gathering and we were all staying at LaQuinta ss well. Turns out my brother & his wife were staying for the weekend in 206! So when front desk programmed our keys, it deactivated their keys.
When we came back a few hours later, front desk attendant (who was brand new on the job!) checked us into 325. However, there was only one bed and I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds. So we were finally able to get a room with 2 queen beds in 402.
It all turned out well, but it was a rather frustrating process to get checked in properly. The staff was very friendly, helpful and couteous.

Food was terrible; what was offered was sparse. No housekeeping unless requested. No clean towels at pool and the ones supplied were stained.
6.0 / 10.0
Easy parking and safe.

Fire on 2md floor, no staff to insure all guests exited when alarms went off. Were told there was a short in fire alarm in a room, not that there was actual smoke or a fire u til 4 trucks came roaring in and took action. Front desk staff on cell phones walking around front of building no care no information. No coffee pot in room just keurig cups, no blow dryer, AC fan didnt work, room door wouldnt close had to lift and push hard. Back door broken proped open for anyone and everyone to use all night.

Night staff quit mid-shift leaving people without a way to check in. Housekeeping quit too. Outside grounds not maintained. Security doors propped open or card readers broken. Toilet leaked and worked sometime. Only one ice machine out of four worked.

I don't know why people would rate this motel an excellent/10. I only stayed in one room....maybe theirs was a 10 ?
Not a 9.....not an 8......not a 7. My wife gave it a 5. I enjoyed the sausage for breakfast. I could not find butter for the waffle (not even margarine). Couple bites on my arm when I woke up. Bed is decent enough. Forgot my own pillow. Bummer. If it was my own money (employer paid) I would look for something with a more convincing rating.
I think there are too many excellent/10 ratings compared to some of the poorer ratings. Something seems awry !
I believe the staff does a good job.
P.S. I saw a review about the carpet. Our carpet was not sticky. I would suggest residue ?
After shower and drying off....difficult to put socks on after walking on the carpet. Socks wanted to "hangup" on the bottom of my feet. Certainly not a dump. Just somewhat overrated.

Nice quiet, comfortable room. Ate breakfast near the end of service, so it seemed a little sparse but everything tasted fine. Friendly front desk staff.
Didn't see or try pool. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.

I booked here because of the kiddie pool, which was closed for maintenance upon arrival. Bags of trash remained in the 3rd floor vending area until Sunday as was a pile of laundry at the end of the hallway. Linen was scarce as I requested it to cover the stained couch and seat.I sent my kids to stay with family. TERRIBLE

The small kids pool was out of order. The worst part was the chlorine in the pool was so potent my kids eyes were burning we couldnt swim the next morning. The ceiling in our room was so dirty it look like poop was spackled on the celiling. We will not be going back.

The place looked nice. Room was decent. VERY thin walls and ceiling. Could hear the people above us until around 4:30 am. Could also hear kids running up and down halls until after midnight. Two lights on room also didn’t work.
6.0 / 10.0
Kids pool area is broken. Breakfast is average. Had to go up 3 flights to find ice machine. Room was basic but did the job
3.0 / 10.0
The staff were very friendly and helpful! The place was clean, but seemed a bit rundown. We booked this hotel because of the splash pad/pool area and found out when we arrived that the splash pad was not working. Our toilet in the room was also not working well.
