The Staff were all so warm and friendly. They all went out of their way to accommodate any request. The bedroom was magnificent with a gorgeous view looking towards the swimming pool and the hills. The dinner was good and the waiter was so charming and personable. When we needed to leave early to catch our flight, the reception opened extra early for us and the lovely lady there make us a breakfast to take away. All in all, we loved our very short stay and would definitely consider returning.

beautiful location

Great location: quiet, with superior views of the landscape, beautiful flowers in spring. You’re really surrounded by nature. Very friendly staff!! Nice restaurant (although a bit repetitive if you eat there a lot) and a superior breakfast each morning. Drinks aren’t expensive. We enjoyed the Spa as well!
If you like taking a bath, our room would’ve been great for you. Showers were a bit messier ;)

This hotel is in a stunning location and we enjoyed walking in the area around it. We arrived and had booked the spa and didn't realized we'd have the entire spa to ourselves. Heavenly - and with tea included! The gym was nice to have too after a long flight. The restaurant was lovely, a nice selection and they easily accommodated my gluten-free requirements. The staff were very helpful and we had an adorable waiter who took great care of us. Our bedroom was lovely and absolutely quiet.
Nothing.

I booked the hotel only for one night, but it was too short, it is an exceptional place! I arrived late in the evening, slightly cold outside, but the fireplace was lit in the hotel, and the atmosphere was dreamlike. The food at the restaurant was super good, and the breakfast was sensational, better than many 5-star hotels!
I booked a private hour at the Spa, which was a total delight. The jacuzzi was excellent, the water in the pool was warm, and the wet and dry saunas were at the right temperature. The whole atmosphere was heated by the wood stove, which gave a special charm to the Spa. Congratulations to those who built and maintain this superb hotel!
Bonus, the bed is excellent🤗

The local was fantastic with beautiful views and hiking from the door. The staff super friendly. Dinner and breakfast superb.
We used the spa and had possibly the best massage ever.
The spa was exclusive to us- and therefore expensive. Not sure why it couldn’t be free and used by any hotel guest.

lovely building and restaurant, very cosy log fires and good breakfast. good star-gazing on a clear night
location is off the beaten track. works as a getaway (Pool in summer, log fires in winter)- not for easy access to anywhere. didn’t get a good night’s sleep on account of poor mattress

Perfect place to go for an anniversary. We've rented a chalet with a chimney and jacuzzi for one night and it was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous location, magnificent views, very friendly and helpful staff. The setting is really beautiful, not too big and the pool magnificent (quiet, calm, relaxing). Food at the location is really good.
It is a bit expensive, also if you dine in at the location.

The hotel is beautiful and and the location offers beautiful views. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, It was the most comfortable hotel we stayed during our trip. Our meals were great, beautiful pool area and grounds, I enjoyed my horse ride and all the nature that surrounded us.
It is a bit out of the way but it was a great central point between Malaga, Antequera, El Torcal and El Caminito del Rey

The dinner at hotel's restaurant was excellent and reasonable priced. The cooled cava bottle for the birthday girl was a great surprise and a nice welcoming gift!😀

I could not have asked for a more stunning location to enjoy my 50th birthday. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty and felt like we were floating rather than walking around this incredibly beautiful 4 star hotel. All staff were immaculately trained but very approachable and helpful. They had left chilled cava in an ice bucket for us in the room. When we saw our room we decided right away that we would love one with a view instead so paid a little more to get an upgrade which was utterly worth it. We ended up with a wonderful room with its own terrace overlooking the hills all the way to the sea in the shining distance. We adored our stay. As my birthday fell on a Monday at the end of May we were extremely lucky to have the ENTIRE hotel, restaurant and pool to ourselves, just the two of us! The birthday dinner I had at the hotel was exceptional. Melt in the mouth cuisine, beautifully presented and absolutely exquisite service, decor and cleanliness everywhere. There is a circular walk through the gardens that you can do and that was lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was ample and very fresh. We left the hotel reluctantly and have recommended it to everyone we know!
The swimming pool could have used a bit of a clean, only in that the water was full of flies. The pool itself was not dirty, just that there were a heck of a lot of drowning ants, flies and other bugs in the water. As there were only 2 guests in the whole hotel they obviously didn't put too much effort into putting the big sieve through the pool beforehand, but no matter, we still enjoyed paddling a bit and sunbathing by the pool. I think there is not a huge amount of selection in terms of restaurants in the village nearby but we didn't need it as we were only there for one night.
