Delighted with our spacious modern room on a quiet side street, not in the original older hotel a couple of steps away. Central to sights and tabernas. The only criticism I may have is the breakfast could be improved on. Other than that, staff were helpful and pleasant, would stay again!

This hotel is in a fabulous location with great views! I travelled with my brother and his wife so we had two rooms, both with balconies. My balcony was flooded and not draining when I arrived so I told the nice gentleman at the front desk. It was still flooded when I returned to my room after touring and dinner. With torrential rains forecasted for the night, I made sure none of my items were on the floor. My brother's balcony was not flooded when he arrived so he did not clear his floor. Both of our rooms flooded, mine with water draining into the the hall. My brother's belongings got wet. We were disappointed that the staff neither apologized or compensated us in any way.

The room and bed we’re comfortable and the shower was good. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and parking was convenient and reasonably priced. Morning coffee on the terrace of the hotel cafeteria overlooking the gorge was delightful as was the coffee

The room was advertised as a room with a window, but the picture showed the window as a balcony, and we were NOT disappointed. It was a balcony, and our balcony was right out on top of the gorge, such a magnificent view that I almost got dizzy looking down at the drop into the gorge. Literally birds floating around down below catching up-drafts and whatnot. It is right ON the gorge, and staying in a room that overlooks the gorge is a bucket list item for sure. Wow!
Yes, the hotel is a bit older, but that is truly part of its charm. Want something modern and generic?--Find a Hilton in a big city. Want something authentic and fun? This hotel is it.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, telling us about a free concert that was going on in town the next night. My 22-year-old son and I attended the concert -- an 80s retro band -- and it was oodles of fun!
Lovely shops go on for streets and streets and streets throughout town, with good restaurants as well.
There are three parking spaces in front of the hotel for checking in and hauling in luggage. We then parked in an underground garage about a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Never got a chance to try the restaurant, but chatted with the restaurant manager, and he was an amazingly nice fellow. They all were.
Such a wonderful and friendly small town and such a terrific hotel!!

The front counter staff were helpful but restaurant staff not so much in the morning. I wasn’t greeted, didn’t know if it was buffet or menu and was left wandering around. I discovered the buffet which was extremely limited options. No cold milk, no fresh bread or croissants. The interior room had no windows and was extremely hot. I was unable to make it cooler as the thermostat would not go below 21 degrees. It was extremely loud with people talking in the hallway with an echo, people talking on their phones in the hallway, the double front doors banging and crashing all night. The only thing going for it was the location which was literally at the Puerto Nuevo bridge

Great location in Ronda, especially for the price. Great view of the bridge. The staff here were friendly, and very helpful. The accommodations were not luxurious, but they were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I were coming back by myself or with just one other person.

This is a fantastic hotel with simply extraordinary service. Everyone is extremely helpful. We have stayed there several times and it is one of our favorites.

Property was certainly “vintage”.

What was unique about the property??
Definitely the staff. I have stayed at various hotels and most hotels, of course, have friendly and helpful staff. But here my experience has been beyond what I could ever expect. Paco and Francesco went out of their way to help me when I was in a difficult situation.
I am very grateful to Paco for being extremely kind and considerate.
The stay was comfortable, views are stunning and food is sublime. However, it is the extra mile that both Pacos 😁 went, is what will stay with me.

Fantastic views from balcony room. I mean FANTASTIC!!! Staff were super helpful even parked car for us. Location perfecto, walked to all sites. Patio restaurant and bar also had marvelous views. Highly recommend!

This hotel is perfectly situated by the new bridge in the center of town, and even though we had a room in an adjoining building in a side street, it is very close to everything. However, parking is a disaster, and the hotel does not offer any, despite this being written in the add at the website, which needs to be removed. No parking possible in the streets either as everything is full morning , midday and night as well. So the only option is to use one of the parking houses in the city, we used the Socorro parking, which is about 400 meter from the hotel, and you have to pay for this, which is expensive, we paid 30 euro for 2 days. Check-in was bad, no service at all and only spanish spoken, but the check out was better, as the young man spoke english, which must be a minimum in a so touristy town as Ronda...

First, there's the hotel, and then this sort of apartment down the street, the "other" hotel.
The room was fine. Nice bathroom.
HOWEVER, there are lights on the alarm system on the ceiling that illuminate the entire room all night.

Great location. Had room 204 which has a balcony with view of gorge and bridge. Restaurant food was good, reasonably priced and open all day so we were able to have lunch at 11 am and dinner at 5 pm. Shower is difficult for those whom can't bend over as there is nowhere to place your toiletries except on the floor.
6.0
The hotel was basically fine, and you shouldn't hesitate to stay there. The view (especially if you can get a room with a view of the bridge) and the location make it worth it, and the restaurant was a pleasure. BUT: we chose the hotel in part because it was advertised as having parking, when in reality it only has very few spaces (especially relative to the much larger number of hotel rooms), all of which fill up early. The "parking available" line seems deeply misleading. We had to park in a public lot far from the hotel. In addition, the room was a bit spartan, and the bathroom, while fine, had a lot of someone else's hair in it. So just know what you're getting into, or get there early in the hopes that there will still be parking on-site.

breathtaking views from our terrace greeted my mornings and thrilled me in the night. It was winter so cold outside but very good heating in our room. Great shower and best location.

Centrally located. They do have parking facility with the convenience of not having to look around for a free street parking space that could be far away. The staff was ok, nothing spectacular. Avoid the breakfast as this was extremely limited and a bit weird with presentation and offerings.

Overall, my experience at Hotel Don Miguel was excellent and one could not find a better location than right next to one of Ronda's famous ( or should I say, infamous? ) bridges. Within easy strolling distance of many of the local attractions and views, it was sublime. There are a wide assortment of cafes and restaurants, too, which brings me to my one disappointment. The hotel's breakfast buffet was sadly lacking and certainly not worth the price they were charging. Skip it. Didn't even look at their other offerings as the breakfast might have been representative of the kitchen's standards.
All of the reception staff was outstanding with one exception. Upon my return from my first night's stay, I discovered that my room key wasn't working. I returned to the front desk and the woman on staff informed me brusquely that of course it wouldn't work as it was past check out time.
When I asked her to check the room notes as I was carrying on from a business reservation, she told me that I was wrong and demanded to see my passport. No word of apology was offered even when I pointed out her error. Not a good impression since I have worked in the tourist industry for most of my adult life.
I would highly recommend this hotel in spite of the couple of missteps.

This hotel is amazing. It has fantastic view, new remodeled furniture, rainfall shower. Very comfortable. We stay in 308, a best place to take picture including both new and old bridges.

Spend the money on a room with the view of the gorge / bridge. Grab a pizza and a bottle of wine, have dinner on your balcony! Totally worth it!

We were not in the main building— it appeared that we would be from the description. Instead we had to go down the street into another building. View of gorge blocked from the room balcony which we paid for as an upgrade. Very little for amenities- towels no tissue box or coffee in room no remote for TV. Would not recommend . Staff very nice and room was clean.

The worst experience ever in my life. This hotel has five different buildings (which I never knew until I checked in), and I was allocated into a building way down the block which was not advertised on the hotels.com. It was only for a night and it was so cheap, so I didn't expect much. But it was beyond my imagination. The worst thing was the bed sheet. There were yellow stains everywhere with hair of who knows where it came from... One good thing about this was, I got to wake up early and started the morning early, because I couldn't stand it. Oh they make you pay extra for parking, so it adds up to the bill. There was one guy at the recpetion who could speak in English, and he was helpful.
3.0
Not a very nice hotel. No coffee, tea, kettle or glasses in the room. When we went down to get a coffee we were told it was 16 euros for each coffee as guests were required to purchase the entire breakfast to get a coffee. This is not service based it is a money grab. We also witnessed the front desk staff treating guests very poorly. Rude and condescending treatment of paying guests in front of other paying guests is inexcusable. I would not stay here again. It is a one star with a view.

Location was great. You can walk to all attractions, restaurants and shopping. Parking is a little bit inconvenient but you can park in front of the hotel to drop off your bags then park in a parkade a couple of blocks away. If you book a room facing the gorge you won't be disappointed.

Be very careful booking here. We were put in a building down the road. Dusty and no ventilation. Re assigned another room reluctantly by a rude Receptionist, and this clearly had plumbing issues as smelt of stack gas. Any refund denied as was request to speak to a Manager.

Room is clean but a little bet small.

Great place to stay. Close to everything.

The room we were put in did not match the lovely photos. We were put not in the main hotel, but across the street. Our room was in the front on the main floor. We could hear everything loud and clear on the street in front of us: conversations, cars and motorcycles. We were against the front doors. You had to come through two separate doors, which meant two loud bangs, and every conversation in the hall. When I complained, they just shrugged me off. The main hotel is lovely, but buyer beware.
