Clean and nice room

Really friendly staff and lovely clean hotel

Wonderful location, quiet, cozy. It’s Paris so hotel rooms are small but bathroom new, shower excellent, bed comfortable and firm. Breakfast pretty good (fresh croissant, baguette). Would go again, convenient home base near Marais.
4.5
Great location. Clean & quiet (except for the construction that started at 8am but expected in a big city).
4.5
Quiet spot in central Paris.

We got to the hotel at 11:00am, but, since our room was ready, the desk clerk graciously let us into the room early. The staff was similarly thoughtful on several other occasions. We have been coming to this hotel every year for about two decades, and the positive changes we noted this time were that the hot water didn’t take more than a few seconds to arrive, and that the heating of the room was more effective.
4.5
Lovely little boutique hotel! Rooms are small, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in our room. Conveniently located near the Metro, Latin Quarter and restaurants. Can’t wait to visit again!
4.5
Very professional and friendly service! The rooms are in an old building from 1700’s-1800’s but modernised to an excellent standard. Quiet. We will very happily stay there again.

Great location. Service was wonderful and the shuttle to the airport was a bonus. The room was small for two people. We have to move furniture around to easily get into the bathroom. However, the room was clean - no evidence of bed bugs which we had heard alot about on the news.

Me and my daughter had a wonderful stay. Delicious breakfast thank you!

Hotel was clean and in a great location. Small rooms but to be expected in Paris.

This hotel has recently been renovated. Fantastic bathroom. It does have very small rooms but it is modern and such a convenient and desirable location. And the price is reasonable.
4.5
This hotel is situated on an island near Notre Dam. Steeped in culture, history and the beauty of Paris surrounds it. The refinements of this hotel exemplify the stylish grace of a classic city. This is truly a gem and a treasure I hope to utilize again.
4.5
Lovely hotel. The breakfast however was substandard.

My family loved the design of the rooms although they were small but it seems that is normal for Paris. We felt at home and the staff was amazing. The neighborhood was perfect. I will definitely stay here if I get back to Paris. The only CON is the lack of a meeting room where we can gather. We did use the breakfast room but wasn't sure if that was acceptable with the evening staff. Absolutely a great stay and reasonable pricing

We pretty much wish we could live here:). Beautiful rooms, beautiful little breakfast room, just the sweetest place in a fantastic location. Hope to be back next year with friends!

Our group consisted of three girlfriends wrapping up a 10 day trip with three final nights in Paris! We chose the Hotel Saint-Louis en I'Isle because of it's proximity to Notre Dame, shopping, dining and overall walkability throughout Paris!
The owners/proprietors were very friendly, helpful and assisted us with transport from the train station and then taking us to CDG on Sunday!
The facilities are newly updated, with plenty of attention to details !! I would only suggest another wall mirror in the main bedroom area, and a coffee machine in the breakfast rooms !

Although we were looking forward to staying on the Ile Saint-Louis, the company moved us to another property, Le Presbytere, about a block south of the Centre Georges Pompidou. Apparently, the Hotel Saint-Louis en l’Isle had too few bookings (COVID) and some renovations were not complete. They informed us of the move about a week before our arrival and the property was splendid! Housing for clergy attached to a church made into a hotel! The hotel is in the center of a walking shopping/dining closed off street area but central (walkable) to a lot of the must-see sights. The only caveat is there was no elevator (not a problem for us) and the stairs are fairly steep and narrow up to the fourth floor. The hotel is impeccable! Incredibly clean, beautifully furnished, and felt like it had been renovated yesterday. We will go back and stay again but will also try the Ile Saint-Louis property too. If it’s as well done as Le Presbytere, it’s a winner too. Also, high praise for Clement and Desaru (sp?). Extremely helpful and cordial.

location is excellent. Our room was very small and you can hear your neighboring rooms easily.
4.5
Loved the staff but couldn’t sleep because I could hear all sounds while in bed, I felt that theres no soundproofing at all. Had to leave the next day and forfeit the payment for the night. They did not refund me and I understand. The location can’t be beat though. If you can sleep with earplugs on, this is a nice little gem in Ile St Louis.

Cosy hotel with the world's most comfy foldout-bed, according to our 12 y old.
4.5
Great place to stay that is central to everything in Paris!
4.5
We cannot recommend Hôtel Saint-Louise en l'Isle enough; it is everything you want for a romantic get-away in the heart of Paris - you are literally in the center of Paris, yet the location is quiet and undisturbed. The well-maintained hotel oozes charm, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
4.5
I wanted to stay on Île Saint-Louis for the character and charm. I got both. The critical problem was hearing all the noise from the above occupants. The room was fine and bath adequate.
4.5
Lovely hotel, conveniently located. We had a room on the street side - which was quite noisy. The shower had some mold and water damage to the wall. The staff were pleasant and helpful - good French language practice!
4.5
Charming hotel in the best and oldest part of Paris.
4.5
Almost everything about this Hotel is excellent, the location, the room, the staff, only 1 thing let it down.....
The shower! There was a tiny glass screen stopping very little splashing. The entire bathroom would get drenched in water every time we took even the shortest of showers.
4.5
Great location and the staff were very friendly.

Found this gem in the heart of Paris, great location (5 mins walk to NotreDame, 8mins walk to Saint Chappel, Pont Marie metro station is 5mins on foot and Hotel de Ville metro is 10mins walk away). Hotel propmptly responded to messages sent via Expedia..also provided with an adaptor free of charge during our stay which was a life saver (we forgot a take a UK 3pin to UK 2 pin converter with us). Couple of good restaurants within couple of minutes walk right next to river Seine. Breakfast was ok and fills you up. Will definitely be staying here again when we are back in Paris. Room was obviously cramped and a small lift (can fit in max 2 people at a time with luggage), thats standard wherever you stay in Paris. Free Pringles and tea kettle provided in the room which was a bonus.

BERNARD!!! Amazing! The location is most desirable. The hotel is superb! Bernard, the concierge and go to guy , is now part of my family. Hope to be back next November!

Great location, wonderful service and beautiful hotel. Thx

Great location in heart of Paris. Could walk to most of the major Paris attractions. Many wonderful bistros in walking distance for dinner and the Marais is right there too!

Location is great for visiting historic Paris. Great showers. Breakfast adequate with good

The elevator and bathroom was small; however the shower was great. The shuttle service was 15 minutes late-plan your time accordingly. The driver at 6:15 am had a the dog ate my homework excuse.
4.5
Even though the room was small it had everything to make our stay amazing and comfortable. I loved the decor of this beautiful building and the beds were really comfortable. The shower was hot and had lots of pressure. What makes this the perfect stay is the location. The Island is quaint and close to everything. But the icing on the cake was the staff. They went out of their way to help us and could not have been kinder. Very joyful and super attentive. The only negative was the Wifi which was spotty at best.
4.5
The concierge was warm and welcoming on check in. The room was clean and location perfect for our stay in Paris.
4.5
We were quite pleased with everything about this lovely hotel. The staff was so helpful and pleasant.
4.5
Loved the area it was in - interesting, convenient picturesque. That also describes the hotel building itself, charming.Staff very pleasant and helpful. Sorted out a damaged hairdryer quickly . Advised re local restaurants etc.The room and bathroom were quiet small with no real space for laptop. As a couple we would happily stay there again for a short period.

Bernard on reception was delightful, but then I would expect that from a former employee of The Connaught in London. He couldn’t have been more helpful, providing a charger, sorting the WiFi, checking the room availability, good for a chat and utterly affable and efficient.
