Price and location is good

Very average - the bathroom door was extremely annoying to open and close. It is a bit expensive for what it is.

Nice staff and good location. Need to do better on cleaning.

Booked an accessible twin room for my wheelchair-bound friend and me for 4 nights in June. We found the room in a disgusting state: dust everywhere, poorly vacuumed carpet, dust-caked air vents, dust balls in the bath. Stained bed sheets, long black hairs on duvet, mouldy shower cubicle door, filthy bathroom door runners, loose and dirty grout, splashes of human waste on the underside of the toilet seat.
Beds were rock hard, room layout was not wheelchair-friendly, making it impossible for my friend to access the shower room. Room should not be advertised as 'accessible.' Bedside lights were broken, covered in black electrical tape, there was no ambient lighting, only harsh ceiling lights and a distant desk light. Overall filth and lack of maintenance were unbearable.
My Japanese friend helped to communicate issues to the reception. I showed the manager photos of the room’s condition and pointed out a dusty air vent in the reception area as evidence of the hotel's neglect. The staff seemed embarrassed, but the manager could only offer a refund for 3 of the 4 nights, citing our check-in. Unacceptable, but we reluctantly accepted and checked out immediately after finding another hotel. Expedia later secured a full refund.
This hotel needs a complete overhaul of its cleaning protocols and regular maintenance checks. I strongly advise against booking this hotel without reading reviews first. Level of uncleanliness and lack of care for accessibility needs is inexcusable.

The hotel is really close to the train station and therefore very convenient. Unfortunately if you stay at an upper floor, you can actually hear the trains.

Very convenient and clean, comfortable room. Easy walk to train stations, restaurants, shopping etc.

Only 5 min walk from Kamata station. Family mart is located within a minute walk from the hotel. The reception desk area is a bit small in my opinion but the staff is very helpful and the room is clean and large enough in size considering this is Tokyo.

An amazing experience. The hotel is located in the Kamata train station area. Yes, transportation is a must to get to downtown Tokyo and other areas of attraction. Train fare very accessible. Staff really amicable and professional.

We had been a regular customer booking at this property but this stay (Oct25.23) was a disappointment. Upon check-in, we found the shower curtain was filthy with black spots all over and the shower holder (lower one) was just hanging on the wall unsecured. After showing the front desk pictures of the condition in the bathroom, they changed our room (1001) immediately. We were a bit puzzled as to why there wasn’t any inspection by the cleaners when they were cleaning up the washroom and rectified the problem before letting people checking-in.

It’s located close to one of the major train stations. And easy walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and shops.

I stayed at the hotel for 20 days and enjoyed every minute of it. My room was alway pristine, the front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is very clean and quiet. It is close to restaurants, trains, shopping, convenience stores and anything else you could ask for. I will be return to the hotel next year when I visit Japan.

I stayed for 5 nights with my wife who also liked the hotel for its reasonable room fees, good service, 5-minute walk to JR Kamata Station, and good restaurants within 5 minute's walk. I also liked European-style windows - crank open and close to get fresh air.

A short taxi ride from airport. This was a great location for touring Tokyo. There is a train station within walking distance. You can get anywhere in Tokyo within about 45 minutes.

Perfect place for our needs. Just enough space for two people.

A wonderful place to stay. It is easy to get to the train and there is everything you could imagine in the area. Staff are helpful and very nice. My room is cleaned to perfection every day. I highly recommend.

The hotel proximity to JR Kamata station was only 5 minutes walking distance. With so many dining and shopping options within 10 minutes it was just way too convenient. The staff is awesome and hotel kept in pristine condition. I will definitely return here often.

Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is only 3mins walk from JR Kamata Station. Charging cable for smartphone in room, also with lightning plug for iphone. Free WiFi in hotel room and lobby. Convenient store just around the corner. No complaints, recommended!

Although the room was very small, it offered all that we needed. Most people over 250 lb's would struggle to navigate the bathroom.

It was a short walk away from the train station.

Stayed at Hotel Mystays Kamata in March and April. Love this hotel! The staff are excellent and accommodating. One woman in particular was exceptional. I wish I got her name. When I visited in March, I was with my family. She was really nice and helped us look for a place to pick strawberries (she looked online and called a couple of places). It was booked solid so we couldn't go but I really appreciated her effort. Then when I went back in April (solo trip), she remembered and asked my how my granddaughter Sophie was. I was so impressed she remembered her name! The hotel is great and comfortable. I booked this hotel in March because it was one of 2 that had a queen bed. I returned in April and will continue to return because of the service. The rooms are spacious by Japan standards and very clean and comfortable. There are washing machines and dryers free of charge. 2 floors have vending machines, ice machines and microwaves. Wi-Fi is great. The location is near a great train station with many food and shopping options nearby. Be careful about the cancellation policy. It is not as flexible as most hotels. I had to change my plans a week out and could not get a refund. Still my favorite hotel.

Some rooms appear have been renovated compared to others in the same hotel but all were clean and comfortable. The Kamata location is perfect: the hotel is in a short walking distance to the JR station which connects right to Tokyo and the surrounding neighborhood provides all the shopping and dining one can need during a vacation. I will be returning to this location for my next Tokyo vacation.

Employees were all very very nice and helpful and place was very clean.

I liked the laundry at the hotel. The staff is very nice and tries to be helpful. The hotel is convenient to the JR train lines but a little distance from the airport Keikyu trains. I thought the price and hotel room and services made the stay very comfortable and a good deal.

Conveniently located to JR train station with 10 min. Access to Tokyo.

Really awkward to get to and very run down and a bit smelly tbh. Disappointing. Staff were lovely though

Perfectly situated between two bigger train stations and very close to a supermarket that is open until 1 am. Rooms are mostly quiet and you can barely hear traffic from outside. Staff was very nice and helpful, available around the clock

Room size is reasonable and good wifi.

I liked the hotel because it was close enough to walk to the nearby stations and the bus to and from Haneda airport was very convenient. The hotel was quiet and the cost was reasonable.
