Nice and spacious room. Little bit of a walk to the beech, but that was fine for me.
Good deal for the money.

I had a terrible experience during my stay at this hotel in Boracay. In the first two days, I fell seriously ill, experiencing difficulty breathing, congestion, a persistent cough, bloodshot eyes, and a high fever. At first, I attributed it to fatigue, but my condition didn't improve despite resting. It wasn't until I discovered black particles appearing on my bed that I realized the issue: the AC unit was emitting mold, which had made me extremely sick. When I approached the front desk about this problem, they tried to downplay it, claiming it was just dust and that they had cleaned the AC the previous week. However, the photographs I had clearly showed otherwise, with actual mold inside the AC compartment. To make matters worse, the front desk initially insisted there were no other available rooms for me to switch to, until I insisted on an investigation into the mold issue. They eventually moved me to a smaller room.
This experience completely ruined my short vacation in Boracay, all due to the hotel's negligence regarding health hazards. I spent most of my time in Boracay bedridden, and even had to visit the emergency room at 2am, which was a terrible experience, all because of my stay at Amihan Home. It's infuriating that I had to incur substantial medical bills as a result of their carelessness.
If you're looking to potentially fall ill, and have an unresponsive manager for the accommodation, then by all means, book this place. 0/10 fr

The architecture of the property was different from the hotels nearby. It was unique.

We had an excellent time during our 4 day stay at the Amihan Home. The owners and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple and well furnished rooms with comfortable beds. The communal kitchen and dining area was a lovely bonus. The only slight criticism is the WiFi speed. But having stayed in dozens of hotels around the Philippines it seems to be a very common issue everywhere .

This is a small bed and breakfast house. Do not expect the service or condition like a hotel. For example, no hair dryer can be borrowed from the house. The wifi is very weak, and cannot be used. The location is not closed to beach, nor dmall, it takes 15 minutes walk to beach or dmall. The breakfast is good.

Very good breakfast included. Nice hotel except... Room smelled like mothballs; lumpy pillows; cold air from air conditioner went straight to our bed and smack into our faces; we found it annoying that someone would come into our room right after we left for the beach to turn off our air conditioner (we had to wait for the room to cool down again upon returning - and believe me, the heat and humidity in this part of the world is BRUTAL!); the hotel is located up a steep road - do not stay here if you are not physically fit. Do not stay here if you're expecting a beach front property. It's pretty much in the middle of the island. Quite a walk to either White Sand beach or Bulabog beach.

We had a wonderful stay. Charming place with warm and friendly host, Ms.Grace and staff. Boo, the dog, greeted us every morning and the breakfast is like a home-cooked meal of either tapsilog(tapa+garlic rice+eggs) or continental. Well-maintained garden, good water pressure, comfy pillows. They also helped us arrange a room massage service which was superb. We definitely recommend this hotel. There's a slightly steep couple of minutes walk to the hotel which is a good exercise after gorging on Filipino food by the beach. It's a clean, relaxing, sunny and homey place with warm and professional people who will make your stay comfortable.

We were dropped off to the wrong amihan, you should be specific that its amihan home in dtalipapa so you wont get lost. It is close to restaurants, market and a short walk to the beach but you need to hike going home because public transport dont go up because the road is steep. The place is really a house and it feels like one, its cozy.
Its recommended if you want to stay away from the noise of the beach front but a no no for elderly and children, they might get really tired going up.

The Bed and Breakfast Amihan was our home away from home. It is about 10 minutes walk to the White Sand Beach and the Bolabog Beach. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the night life but near enough to enjoy it. You can just walk anywhere within minutes. The breakfast is very good and the presentation is classy. The staff is always available if you need anything. When you fepart the staff will bid you farewell. Book the arrival and departure transfer with them and it will be cheaper.
