A great option to stay in Mérida downtown, walkable, great service, friendly staff and cute historical vintage building. Loved it!!

The staff is super nice and the property charming, out of the way, and local.

I would like to warn everybody trying to book this hotel. We were victims of extortion by a local cartel due to personal information leaked by the hotel staff. They were colluded with the criminals and we have to fled the state. Hope hotels.com put a ban on this hotel forever.

Personal amable y servicial, atención a los detalles y personalización del servicio

Lugar increíble, lleno de detalles.
Estaría padrísimo que tuviera un restaurante de comida típica para ya no salir.

Excellent service and perfect location

The outside bathtubs were the reason we booked this hotel, but the hot water wasn’t working to fill them. The jacuzzi was not hot and overall the place is beautiful but in a state of decay.

When we arrived there, they didn’t even have our reservation. The room condition was horribly dirty, the coffee pot even worse. There was fungus in there. When they finally found our reservation which already passed 1 hour, we found that the tariff was almost double thru Expedia. We had a horrible stay there and we were totally disappointed with Expedia as well.

very friendly staff, clean room and in general a very relaxed/zen atmosphere.

The hotel is small with individual casitas. The casitas are large, bed and bathroom a very good size and large terrace.
The hotel is in the "jungle" so very little light gets in. Our room was damp with no way to air it out.
The terrace could have been lovely to spend time on - however the built in "bath" did not look inviting - rusty chain and many leaves. The built in concrete couch did not have a cushion so very difficult to sit on - note - some other casitas had cushions - the hotel was not full - perhaps someone should have noticed.
General impression - the hotel could be very good with a little more attention from the staff.

I highly recommend this hotel. Great and accommodating staff, nice and clean rooms, and a beautiful property.

Great place to unwind! We Will definitely be back, love the pool and the quietness of the rooms!

We stayed at the hotel for a long holiday weekend to enjoy the Palenque ruins the nearby area. The hotel was well located, stylishly designed, and had excellent customer service throughout our stay. The only drawbacks were lack of air conditioning, wifi only in the lobby, and the lack of a restaurant.

Lovely boutique hotel but with 2 issues... no food except for breakfast which is included in the fee (great breakfast though)... no food means you have to order take outs from local restaurants... they keep 2 restaurant menus at the front desk... the time the food takes to arrive is reasonable... the second issue is that the social area where the dining table and the couches are is an open air space with no fans and unfortunately plenty of mosquitoes... the same is with the little front area of the bedrooms and this lack of screen protected spaces is a hassle... the area of Palenque is very hot and humid and there're lots of mosquitoes so if you plan to relax it'll have to be inside your bedroom with the AC or the ceiling fan on... no TV or internet in the rooms...

This place is BEAUTIFUL. I was only sad I didn't have more time to enjoy the property. Very rustic feel. These are not luxury accommodations but if you want luxury, probably don't go to Palenque. The hammock and hot tub outside the rooms were a nice touch. The staff was very eager to please and breakfast was perfect. It is 5 minutes from the entrance to Palenque Archaeological Zone.

Hotel screams for an update. There is no AC, they didn’t use the principles of tropical architecture (no air circulation) so it’s smoking hot inside the rooms. Room is outdated. Stains on the bed sheets. Stadf doesn’t speak any word in English, instead they let you read google translate on their screen. The pool is nice but needs some cleaning. To conclude: 100 usd a night is way to much for a 30°c room and a dirty pool with a jacuzzi that didn’t work. And last but not least, the bath inside your own terrace sucks, it takes ages to fill up and the hot water runs out after 2 min. Not that you want to take a hot bath in this climate. Btw, there are fans on the ceiling and next to the bed, but they sound like airplanes taking off. Not amused after a 4 night stay.

Nice hotel. Nice rooms.

Warmly received, attentive service, wonderful breakfast served on my terrace; end of day swim in the pool, a drink in the lobby catching up with email and a meal if I wanted it from a local service. And easy access to the archeological site and museum and help with arranging a very early taxi to the airport when I left. I was happy to be staying several days.

Expected a lot more for the price! The service was decent, but the facilities were not working properly.
