Everything seemed clean. The bed was extremely hard. The t.v. was frustrating. We had to cycle the box several times in order to get it to work and navigating was not the easiest. Would be nice to have step-by-step instructions on what to do.

Road construction while we were staying there...out of hotels control. We've been staying here for several years and there have not been any updates made to it. Nothing special...nothing terrible.

Me and a buddy came back to Fairplay after having to abandon our hunting trip earlier that week due to a minor injury. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and kind.

Staff and front desk were amazing. Unfortunately there was no hot water and no water pressure at all from the sink. Not sure if it was from the massive amount of construction on the entire streets in FairPlay. One of the locks on the door look like it was taken off so I used a chair to block it and put an pillow down because I did honestly not feel too safe, but I was so exhausted from travel. and whoever painted the room painted like a landlord who’s trying to save money, carpet was dirty and Ac was making crazy noises and there was some gross stuff on the curtains… I’m honestly not super surprised as wyndam buys all these hotels and doesn’t want to fund them except for a giant tv…even with how much money they make off their higher hotels. Not my first experience like this in a wyndam owned hotel. But as said, the staff were lovely, so it’s a corporate issue.

The fact that the Wyndham online check in process didn’t actually save me any time and had to be redone when I got there was frustrating. A lot of construction going on around this hotel made it challenging to go anywhere to get dinner. Room was incredibly noisy.

Excellent staff, went above and beyond to address my questions and ensured the items I forgot to take with me were returned to me before I left the property.

I travel to the area for work and this is a very convenient location to stay. There are problems when it comes to noise though.... There doesn't appear to be any noise blocking between the rooms. Other guests in neighboring rooms were extremely loud and singing until almost midnight. At times there was shouting in the halls and staff didn't appear to do anything about it.

Very nice room & facilities.

Staff was friendly and answered all questions promptly. Room was clean and had Dish TV and wifi. That's all we needed for our short stay. It is absolutely not the hotel's fault but there is construction happening so getting in and out is a little annoying but will hopefully be great once it's done...lots of dirt and dust!

Old, dirty, gross. We paid @$200/night. Ridiculous cost for this hotel. But, the only redeeming quality was that the staff was helpful & friendly.

We stayed here the night before climbing Quandary Peak for a different experience than staying in Breckenridge or somewhere more popular. The hotel was surprisingly clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. It's obviously not a luxury hotel, but it's not a crack motel either. It felt like a roadside hotel on the nicer end of things. Fairplay is also a true mountain town before the tourists hit. If you want a more authentic, rural experience I definitely recommend the town and this hotel.

I booked 3 rooms in this hotel for my employees who were in Fairplay for a night job. One of my employees checked in and upon going to his room it was not cleaned and they had to give him a new room. That same employee then ended up getting bug bites all over him from bed bugs. He has a high risk newborn at home and couldn't even go home after a 12 hour shift because he had to go wash all his clothes. I tried reaching the hotel directly, but they do not answer their phones. I then reached out to Hotels.com for a refund and they came back saying the hotel refused them and there is nothing else they could do. So beware.... Hotels.com is still offering this hotel even though ive told them about bed bugs and the hotel probably did nothing about it... room 120.....

Got in late at night and keys were sitting on the counter with my name on them. Anyone could have swiped them and gotten into the room. Construction crew shift change happened around 4:30am, super loud could hear every footstep, door open/close, showers running everywhere. Got no sleep.

Breakfast was all packaged foods- donuts, bagels and muffins- nothing healthy:-(
They did let us check in early which was nice!
Outside area was under construction so messy and not easy to maneuver from the main road - expensive for what was offered.

Very old and needs updating, breakfast was only donuts or bagels, way overpriced but its the only hotel in this tiny little town so theres no better options

It’s an old building, but clean. The only complaint is the pillows suck. But I don’t know any hotels that have good pillows. Best advice is to bring your own. Bed is really comfortable..

While the property was clean and unique, it was very average. The bathtub was stained, the bathroom fan didn’t work but squealed loudly. The pricing was for a king room but had no comfortable chairs, only two kitchen chairs. Average room, above average cost.

There was construction that caused a lot of traffic. Not the hotel’s fault though. Desk lady was very helpful and friendly.

It is a hotel, beds and a tv. Slow to get hot water in shower, shower head leaked and smelled of mold.

It seemed like the place was short-staffed. There was one person taking care of the check-in, she was also taking care of the laundry and cleaning the lobby. For being only one person, she was doing a good job. Cleanliness was poor. We had another couple staying in a separate room, they sent a picture of what looked like black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The sink in our room had a lot of soap scum all around the drain. Their Wifi never worked. The breakfast was from 6 a.m. - 8 a.m., way too early, and pretty limited regarding choices. The beds were comfortable. The whole hotel on the inside looked dated. Just an average hotel, and it worked for what we needed.

For the price, we were pleased with the comforts of our beds and room (the pillows were awesome). It was delightful to view the mountains from our room, though a busy road also lies outside the window. Breakfast was actually offered—continental.

The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the service was friendly. Sadly the breakfast was disappointing, just yoghurt, oranges, oatmeal some bars, juice coffee and tea. The liquid creamer was bad and made one in our party sick.

We stayed here after driving in from Texas. We were tired and wanted a shower and to relax. When I went to to a shower the bathtub was not clean and there was someone else’s dirty towel still hanging on the shower curtain. Then my son when to get in his bed and there was a mark on the sheets. He ended up sleeping on top of the sheets in his clothes. Breakfast was terrible, nothing fresh all packaged s

People were friendly, probably the only reason that I'd return.

TV remote did not control TV
Hair dryer did not work
Breakfast was only coffee
Walls thin enough to hear conversations next door
4.0 / 10.0
Seems to be zero insulation in walls and between floors,
I could hear every conversation, footstep, and tv around me and above me for hours into the night

Inexperienced check-in person. The whole place needed modernizing. No b'fast except coffee. Bad value for the high price. No place to get dinner within walking distance. The whole town of Fairplay, CO is dying. This is the 3rd worst place I've ever stayed in my 75 years.

It is your run of the mill Travelodge, but at the same time maybe a step above others. Nice staff, easy check-in, and the place was really clean. Most importantly in my opinion, the bed was pretty comfortable and they had good pillows. The rooms have a fridge and a coffee maker which is convenient, and in addition to that there is coffee in the lobby. I would stay again

Location was great but the room was pretty gross and I would recommend looking elsewhere. Upon entering my room I almost immediately saw some kind of larva coming from the bathroom sink. There was a lot of dog hair against the edges of furniture too. I was barely able to tolerate it. Would have left if I was with my family.

We areived super early in the morning due to us getting caught up in winter weather conditions. I was so excited to see the rooms keys waiting for us in an envelope. They were prepared for a 2am arrival. We really needed this stop to rest before continuing on our journey back to the mid west. The room did the job we needed and we were able to pack up in the morning and head back out. No breakfast but they did have juice and coffee.
