Walking distance to the beach/rocks.

Overall, the property was nice and cosy . Close to the beach and town centre. Good value for money. One negative comment the night that I stayed there was a growling animal close by disturbing my sleep. Possibly the Tas devil.

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The king size bed was so comfortable and black out curtains were great. The bungalow had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were right on the road front and overlooked the blowholes. We were within walking distance to the town, whalers lookout and the gulch. It was a short drive back to Frecynet National Park. Service was excellent as we arrived on the public holiday but were kept up to date with opening times and how to access our rooms as we came in after the office had closed. This accommodation exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay to anyone looking at exploring the region.

Great 1 bedroom Chalet, spacious & wecoming. Very comfortable & warm bed. Friendly staff, very helpful. Nice place to stay.

Great position but the shack we stayed in was very dated

Location was on point. Good distance to amenities and the blowhole was a plus 😌 Amazing views which made for great photo opps. Winter electric blankets were a welcome feature for the cold nights during winter. Beds were super comfy 💖 Communication was limited but instructions very clear and simple to follow. On the other hand, a couple of points stopped us from a 5/5 experience= *our apartment oven wasn't in working condition and needs to be looked at. Made a loud noise when the fan was going overtime and after 1hr of trying to roast veges, we opted for the electric frypan. Note- we have young kids, veges are important for them and us to have vs eating out while on holidays *Kitchen window lock was faulty and easy to open from the outside. Hubby put a piece of wood to stop it from opening for security *Maybe some blinds in the bottom level and also by the toilet/bathroom plus the kitchen window would help for privacy and safety. *Laundry was great for washing but the coin dryer was below expectation. We paid $9 for a full load to be dried and then some were still wet after that. A dry rack in the apartment helped overnight to get the rest sorted but we also had the aircon on a warmer heat to help Awesome stay for our family and hopefully we're back for a summer stay when it's warmer ☀️

A great place, which is accessible to everything. I didn't have to drive anywhere! The room was large, clean, and roomy and had everything you needed. I will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Love love loved my stay at Bicheno. Accommodation was massive for one person and so cute. Wish I had stayed longer. Easy to walk along the ocean side and close to seafood restaurants. (Chowder at the Lobster Shack was delish). Would love to return in the summertime.
