The scenery was great which I booked this location, lodge is very old and small as usual. Lobby staff check-in was terrible reaction without any memory when I complaint for room door closing issue. by the way, room door is not locked easily ... only locked with extreme power SLAM only.

Within minutes of the Grand Canyon rim.

The room was tad dusty (top of alarm clock and lamps), and found a sponge 🧽 under the tub. Otherwise, very clean.
The alarm ⏰ clock went off at 6 a.m. (!!), fortunately we were up. It might be a good idea for housekeeping to check the clocks.

It was a wonderful stay. Great lodge.

Stayed in cabin from which we could see the rim of the Grand Canyon. Loved it.

Cozy cabins within the park with easy access to shuttle system to take you to many stunning viewpoints of the canyon

The location to the canyon is unmatched. You are steps from the Bright Angel trail. Decent restaurants within walking distance. The cabin is small. Very small. The bed was smaller than a queen. Maybe a twin. Glad my wife and I are small people. The coffee maker in the room needs improvement, but the “fountain” is a store nearby that opens at 6:00 am that has great coffee. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

The only hiccup is the parkinglot other than that very nice

We booked 3 nights, but on our second day we were informed that we need to vacate the premisis, due to water supply issues to the Grand Canyon village. This is something that is completely out of their control and we fully understand. However, we were informed that we will be refunded for the one night which was cancelled by the Lodge. It has been 3 weeks since our stay and we have not received a single penny back.

Perfectly located for Grand Canyon visit

I will say you truly cant beat the view. The room was nice and very clean. The staff at check in were wonderful. However, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and while I expect to be able to hear a little of the other guests, they were stomping and slamming doors all night long. While that is not the fault of the lodge itself, it made for a very long and difficult night.

It is ridiculous that you register for a 6 night stay and they don't furnish you with more than 2 cups of coffee 2 towels and 2 washcloths. The TV didn't work. They quickly sent 2 different people to look at it, but it was then declared that they didn't know and maybe we could be comped for tv not working. While that wasn't a big deal at GC, having to constantly request coffee, washcloths, cups, etc...was a real pain when you're trying to enjoy all that the park has to offer. No guaranteed parking for hotel/cabin guests, so find a place and never move your vehicle. Restaurants were ok, but very expensive. Ice was only available in the Powell cabin, so enjoy the walk and finding it. The park, however, is fantastic! They've made everything so easy to get around and enjoy. I just wish the National park system would contract with different hotel services in order to have a nicer experience. This isn't the first park where the hotel contractor is severely lacking.

Really nice and clean room. Great location for visiting the south rim of the Grand Canyon

What a fab cabin - number 6177, about 25 metres from canyon view and south rim trail. Stunning views.
No aircon so was hot on first night even with the fan, but on the second we got in early so could open the windows (with insect nets) to let some air in. Very comfy bed.
Food and drinks in the lodge were good and reasonable for where we were.
Wifi was very intermittent but had 4G data.

The cabin does not have air conditioning and it was difficult to sleep. At night there is a limited ilumination for the common areas.

Nice cabin like feel hotel, clean room, conveniently located right outside rim trail. When booking, I was aware that there was no air-conditioning, however, it was extremely warm in the evening/over night even with the windows open, and the fan on. We had an uncomfortable sleep.

Room was unique. I’m very happy with my choice to stay here during my visit to the Grand Canyon. The lodge is located in the park so you won’t have to drive at all- there is a free shuttle that goes around the park. The lodge also has a breathtaking view of the canyon as it’s on the edge.

There was no A/C in the rooms.

Bright Angel Lodge was our choice due to location right on the South Rim! The cottage was nice, cozy and not too rustic. I was hoping for a view..but got a window towards the road. Not too noisy though. But no outside space, porch or sitting area. Coffemaker and fridge in room, nice bathroom. But the cottage was connected to another cottage, and the connecting door was not very soundproof, and the neighbours loud.. which I’d known they were connected, not my first choice. That said, the location is great, shuttle bus just outside, close to lodge with dining. Parking ok, not great to unload/load..some steps to cottage (#6194). It is a cool place, but some of the other cottages better situated.
Also, no table and only one chair for two people. Wifi was so so, and tv channels did not work. But recommended! We did enjoy our stay!
The check in was a bit slow, but we got in early, and hazzle free checkout!

Nice and quiet for 1 or 2 nights.
Wifi is terrible. So you can take a break and go off grid.
Meat restaurant just within the premises is SO SO expensive. 50 $.
Beside that WAKING UP facing Grand Canyon is unforgettable.

The lodge has been recently renewed, and it offers the opportunity of sleeping inside the NP for an affordable price. While at least some rooms don't have AC, it is not really needed since it gets quite chill at night on the Grand Canyon even in the summer heat

The location was awesome made it really easy to explore the Canyon as it was just outside your door.

Stayed in a cabin, which was OK. Just a bit to hot for not having A/C.

Next to the Rim. Great getting in and out to do the rim walk and overlooking trail to Indian Gardens and North Rim Lodge. Would definitely come back again. In the summer, for multiple days stay, my only wish is that they have air conditioning since I like it 74F at all times. But one night , no issue.

The room was great, super close to the rim. Very clean and functional. The only downside was that there is no AC and it was really hot out. Theu had a fan running in the room when we got there. A window box fan would have been nice, I don't think our room temp ever got below 75 all night with the window open.
