Very friendly and nice lady at the reception desk.

Very nice Hôtel with very nice garden. The rooms are clean and the AC is fantastic. Shower area needs some updates. Overall, a great choice if you want to stay in Mougins. Only 6 min to the old village!

No wifi for our entire stay (3 days). Staff wasn’t bothered at all, their excuse was “technical issue”. Not acceptable for a 4* hotel in France priced at EUR 300/night.

Helt fint.

Close to the old town
Pretty property beautiful backyard . Needs touch of upgrades

I have stay at this property regularly but there is always a miss. This time the bedding - pillows and comforter, were made our of synthetic stuffing, uncomfortable and sub-par.

It needs refurbishment, not as photos shown on Expedia.
We were given a room that didn't match what we booked.
The garden was in need of attention, the grass needed cutting and the swimming pool was very cold, it needs heating.

Nice pool and garden area. Good breakfast. Some rooms are dark and need renovation. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel.
Although rooms are in need of renovation. Some rooms are very dark.
Hotel has a nice ambience and a lovely garden.
Great breakfast. The vast majority of the staff very friendly.
A criticism is the absence of a smoking protocol that separates smokers from non-smokers. It would be so easy to make a separation so that everyone can enjoy their meal without being gassed by other peoples smoke!

We loved the quiet, clam atmosphere with excellent staff. The pool area was clean, well maintained pool and breakfast set you up perfectly for the day.
Almost perfect except that sometimes in cleaning the room daily things weren’t replaced once used. The Wi-Fi could also be stronger in the rooms further away from the main building. Parking was great and a good location to see the area.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff but the hotel rooms are in need of renovation., particularly the bathrooms. The wifi is not very strong and the pool bar restaurant is too expensive. The restaurants generally are not consistent in quality. Small portions but expensive.
Breakfast though was super everyday.

There is nothing to write home about this hotel. Very very average overall, and very expensive for what it is.

A lovely place in a really convenient location for exploring all the Cote D'Azur. Could do with a little tlc here and there but kind of adds to the provencal look so it's very forgivable. Staff are really lovely too!

Staff was extraordinary friendly, cozy atmosphere. Room was super charming. Would absolutely return.

As always hotel de Mougins was top notch
1.0
Terrible service and the hotel needs a renovation. Maximum 3 stars are appropriate and the hotel tried to charge several in our group much more than we spent (8 breakfasts were put on our bill when we only stayed three nights…)

Lovely area. Property needs landscaping and to address the bees while eating and new pillows. Morning buffet is a nice selection of quality food yet they rarely replace food that is finished, women serving food area in morning do not appear to like their jobs. If you ask for a food item in the at breakfast they respond that its closed, yet guests are in dinning area. There is no feeling of service and that a guess should be at a minimum acknowledged. I've never once experienced lack of service anywhere in France in 20 years. Gentleman behind front desk was both warm and helpful.

A disappointing stay at a once fashionable hotel trying to maintain its past glory.
There was a time when distressed, shabby-chic furniture was an acceptable look, but when it matches the distressed and shabby state of the room it must be time to change.
My ‘deluxe’ (sic) room #211, apart from a comfortable bed, has few redeeming features to warrant the €370+ stated tarrif.
There is no evidence of overall care to repair the chipped, damaged dated paintwork and furnishings or even to hang the curtains correctly on the rail.
The bathroom suffers from not looking very hygienic – with cracked and stained? flooring (not a good look in a bathroom), water damaged, rotting woodwork and a very unappealing bath/shower with a faulty shower, together with low quality towels and toiletries. It is easily surpassed by an IBIS or a rural LOGIS.
I did not try the restaurant, having been frightened off by the low standard of the lunch served at the pool bar.
At €14, it is hard to imagine such an ill conceived and badly presented dish as ‘Like a ratatouille’ (not) being served in a French restaurant. This comprised - half a very small aubergine, partially scooped out and griddled, with 3 small cubes of feta and a scattering of chopped white lettuce (iceberg I think, certainly not mache, mesclun or frisse) with no dressing or a hint of those wonderful, traditional Mediterranean flavours.
A full refurbishment of this hotel accommodation is long overdue, or an acceptance to reduce its rating.

Nice hotel with great decoration with beautiful pieces of art.
Great food and very nice breakfast’s buffet.
The room was comfortable but bathroom needs improvement (for a 4 stars hotel we expect something better...)
Overall this hotel is very good.

Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring! The staff were all very friendly and food in the restaurant was great too!

absolutely beautiful place and really friendly staff. Great sized rooms and very comfortable but would of expected a more luxurious bathroom. Convenient shuttle service into town so don’t worry about being slightly outside of Mougins. watchout for the 7.30am earlier risers who reserve sunbeds with their towels and then don’t actually sit on them for half the day - this can be particularly annoying for us Brit’s who don’t operate like this (think someone at the hotel needs to put a stop this as it was a joke at times), however, the place is so nice you soon forget about it.

Check and general service was very good. Pool was amazing and the rooms were comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the buildings are very quaint. Dinner was a little disappointing as was the service with dinner. But overall was a good stay

We loved this hotel, the staff and the area. Very charming boutique hotel.

Lovely hotel, staff are very helpful and friendly. Nice sized pool and the restaurant serves good food. If I’m being picky I would say the patio area outside our room could have done with a little clean to get rid of cobwebs (but that is me being very picky!). Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful value for money in the South of France. The staff was always very pleasant, helpful and prompt with any requests. The pool is a dream on a hot summer day. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Staff are very helpful room needed a bit of upgrading but still lovely with its little terrace and very comfy bed .
I would return if they stop playing the dreadful music in the pool bar which by the way serves lovely food. NIce pool.

Staff couldn't have been friendlier - great location and nice pool

Its location and gardens. The bathroom was a little past its best.

Nice hotel. Lovely staff. Up in the hills where it was quiet and cooler than the coast but well situated for all the places I wanted to visit.

Close to Mougins old village and handy for motorway access

A very interesting but pleasing mix of modern art and old world French architecture.
It would be nice if the pool was heated, and the prices are very steep for the area. We lived in the south of France, a block from the beach and have eaten at the finest Riviera Beach Clubs. Hotel de Mougins is not that, but their prices are.
The staff is outstandingly friendly and helpful.

Very cozy hotel. super quiet and peaceful region! comfortable, good accomodations, pool and a nice restaurant with excellent breakfast. It offers parking if you have a car and has a good distance from Cannes (15 to 20 mins). I would definitely go back and recommend to stay!

We enjoyed our stay.A little difficult to locate initially but a quiet location. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff very willing. The pool area was particularly attractive, The only criticism is the cost of drinks and food. The owners/management need to revue their policy on pricing. 10 euros for a small glass of wine- dinner set menu 39/49 euros breakfast a shocking 22 euros for a continental breakfast. They must ask whilst the staff do so much to please and the detail of the rooms and grounds is exceptional why be happy when the bar and restaurant is empty-please do something about it. In all honesty the first night was very noisy with a loud group of guests up till 2,30 in the morning drinking (on company expenses I suspect).
I would recommend anyone to stay here but not burn money on the hotel food and drink.Which is a shame.
