It was a beautiful place. We had a nice cosy stay.

lovely building from the 900's, high ceilinged atrium, big room with great furnishings, manager hooked me up with a guide to the medina (mandatory)

You gave my room to someone else and there were no free breakfast.

This staff was outstanding! I will remember them whenever anyone asks me about the people in Morocco. We got lost on the way to the riad. I called them and they sent someone out to guide me into the area. Then they helped me setup my parking for my stay. When we got to the riad, we were treated so kindly. They helped setup a tour of the medina and a drive to Chefchaouen for the day. They prepared food for us and it was amazing. When I was preparing to leave, our hostess walked to the parking area and she made sure I would easily be able to access my car early in the morning.

Once we got to know the staff at the Riad they were lovely and kind to us. It is definitely one of the best Riad’s in the area. We loved that it wasn’t in the main tourist hub which would have been loud and very busy. It was lovely to be able to walk amongst the locals and experience the real Fes life, eating at local street vendors and feeling very safe and welcome. Would highly recommend and will return.

We had a very lovely stay. The staff was amazing, the food was well prepared and the main part of the Riad is simply breathtaking.
Be sure to book a room on the ground floor as they are beautifully appointed. Some oth the others are a bit more standard in decoration but certainly comfortable and clean. The staff was so helpful and we made arrangements for daily activities with their input.

The staff at this Riad were the best you could ever hope for. Extremely helpful from start to finish and couldn't have been more friendly. The Riad was very comforatble, delicious breakfast / dinner and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at this authentic and beautiful Riad in the heart of Fez. The entire place is gorgeous. My daughter said that it makes her feel like a princess. The rooms surround a central courtyard with a small pool, and it's beautiful. The bathroom was like our own personal spa, and the appearance of the rooms felt classical and historical while also comfortable. They offer rooms at different sizes and prices, so there's something for everyone. They also served a great breakfast every morning of various breads and pastries along with fresh orange juice, mint tea, and coffee. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - Mohammed and his crew were superb. We also took them up on some of their tours which were less expensive than many competitors. The riad also serves dinner for an extra price if you want it, and we did this one night. It was delicious, too! The location is in the medina where you can walk to all of the historical sights along with restaurants, shops, the tanneries, and many other places.

The hosts were great. But the property itself was absolutely horrible

This was my first time in Fez and my stay at Riad Jamaï was amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful if I had any inquiries, and they assisted with any of my concerns. Not to mention that the Riad is beautiful and in a great location. I have nothing but great things to say about Riad Jamaï!

Beautiful riad and super affordable. We were the only ones there so they gave us a better room than we had originally planned on! Great service too and let us stay for longer after checking out

The location is good as it's at a spot where the driver can actually drop us off near the door of the riad, which is not necessarily possible for all riads. The riad itself is beautiful, I think it's a good representation of how a Morocco riad is, even though it may not be one of the biggest ones. The room is big and comfortable and beautiful as well. The staff there are nice and helpful. The staff Khadija is very sweet and caring. She suggested us to a local eating place nearby and that ended up being one of our best meals in Morocco. We appreciate how the staff there didn't give us any pressure while trying to offer us the services.

This was the second time I stayed at Riad Jamai. I have stayed at close to 30 riads across Morocco and this is one of my favorites. The staff are kind and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is fairly close to the tanneries. The food is also amazing. Highly recommend! I will be back.

Our stay here was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The Riad itself is beautiful and the rooftop terrace is lovely. The location is nice in that it’s not situated in the main tourist area but it’s also easy to get there. I would highly recommend this Riad.

Our rooms were fantastic. Maybe a little too big for our needs but still great for our budget.
We visited in December, so as expected it was a little cooler, but there were heaters in the dining area.
The shower was nice and hot, and robes and towels were provided. We had our laundry done too, for a very reasonable price.
Great place for a family, I would return here again, if I were in Fès.

My real trip purpose was religious more than Friends base, in order to celebrate the Prophet’s Birthday at Sidi Ahmed Tijani place.
In the course of my life, I stayed at hotels ranging from 2 stars to 5 stars; moreover, I studied Hospitality Management, worked in various hotels myself, and can tell what level of service I was receiving.
I found the personnel to be genuinely friendly, always ready to please, from MOHAMED to Yacine to the young lady welcoming my son and me at breakfast times, and escorting is when we leave for the Zawiya daily.
The ONLY thing I complained about, and I wanted to stress, was about the poor way of communicating with me by “Fabien”. He never was able to even address me by name during many email exchanges, failed to genuinely answer my questions about telling me what the proximity the hotel was to the Zawiya by FOOT.
It was a hurdle to get to taxis, were charged at Will, some other times we would walk too long, etc.

The hotel manager charged me extra cost when checking out.

Best riad we stayed during our road trip through Morocco. The manager and staff are incredible, helpful, and hospitable. The riad itself is gorgeous, and despite that its in a less touristic neighborhood is fine they suggest a number of tours that make it easy to navigate and get around Fes. It is also walking to distance to a few key places in Fes. We ended up booking an additional night because we didn’t want to leave. For the price its a wonderful place to spend time in Fes.

Tou felt like you walked into another world when entering Jamai Riad, it was grandiose and beautiful.

This was a most unusual place to stay. Room we had was small but adequate. The dining area needs to be seen, reminded me of the Roman Empire. Fascinating. Finding it was the most difficult part. Take a Taxi. You will not find better than Khadija and Oumayma who speak perfect English and make Guests feel at home in a family sort of way. If you like different, with good service. This is for you.

Good and friendly staff, good breakfast.
Location was terrible, we were initially checked into a room that had no glass in the transom window which allowed noise and cold air to come in. We had to request a change, but the second room had other issues, especially the bathroom. We had arranged with the riad one day before arrival for airport transfer, but they forgot and we had to call them from the airport. They were very willing to arrange day tours for us, but did not assist us in providing city map or suggestions for places to self visit in Fes for first timers. However, paid city tours were suggested.

The Riad is beautiful, there is no doubt about that, the rooms are lovely and well laid out however there is much that can be improved. First of all, there is a kind of laid backness to everything. This is fine if you don't have to leave for a certain time to get a tour, where a 15 minute delay for breakfast means no breakfast at all. On the second day, we had to leave for our tour at 8am, we were promised a packed breakfast- we got nothing and just left, the person in charge was a no show. Then there is the issue that the hotel only accepts cash for payment, they only told us this just before check out. As a result we almost missed our train because we had to go to a money changers to get the cash out. As I said, lovely people, beautiful little riad, but they need to be a lot more professional.

Riad was quite beautiful, room was spacious. Bathroom was quite small, a bit difficult to enjoy the shower without the rest of the bathroom getting wet. No options to eat close by, no where near the Blue Gate as mentioned in the listing

Our stay in Riad Jamaï was just magnificent, a wonderful accomodation with nice rooms, a lovely patio and a rooftop with a breathtaking view on the Medina. Very friendly staff, it was not a problem at all that we had to leave in the middle of the night and we even got something to eat and drink for the journey. Would definitely recommend and come again. Might be a bit hard to find when you visit Fès for the first time, but after all it shouldn't be a problem.
