Property is located next to a square that was noisy late at night. undercover police were searching people.

Across the train station and a couple of blocks from thr old city quarter with its narrow medieval streets, restaurants, street farmer market and the cathedral. It is an old but well preserved building. My room had an sttic view of the city roofs

Room was fine. Staff were Ok. Bus stop right outside. internet not good.

This is a nice enough hotel right at the railway station and an easy walk into shopping and eating areas in the town.
I stayed for four nights. The following are observations more than complaints.
This is an old building and the floor in my room sloped quite a lot which was a bit disconcerting first thing in the morning.
There was a little fold-up desk in the room but only a backless stool to sit on at the desk. I wanted to be able to sit and write and there is no lounge at this hotel so I would have preferred a chair with a back. Not a big deal.
With the desk up, you cannot close the curtains unless you drape them over the desk.
As with almost every small hotel I've stayed at in Mexico, this hotel does not want you to put toilet paper down the toilet. A small garbage can was provided. Nasty.
The shower cubicle worked well but had no shelf for soap etc and no place on floor for it either. This is just silly.
There was nothing hot available for breakfast (unless you consider fresh toast as a hot food), but otherwise it was ok.

Our room was clean, bright, quiet and comfortable, with a nice view over the city. AC was quiet and efficient. Everything worked. The bed was comfortable.

Great location and modern, clean rooms but the plug was hanging off in our room, door handle came off and also the sheets werent very comfortable. Great if you need to stay near the train station and lots of options for food nearby.

Location is excellent! Walking distance from the river and many restaurants. Walking distance to the train station. I got lucky and they gave me a two bedroom suite for two people. One bedroom had a double bed and the other room had two twin size beds. On my third day I put outside my door the “clean the room” sign and after I came back at the end of the day, nothing had been clean or done. I was very disappointed, but I have to say that the person in the reception area felt really bad and gave me a complimentary breakfast for two. The breakfast was nothing special, especially that in Europe the breakfast are usually great. But for a quick bite and free, it was ok. I would stay there again especially because of the location.

The staff was amazing and the location great. Our stay was fantastic. The only “wish” would be a coffee machine in the room.

Loved this little hotel and would definitely stay again . Cute, bus right outside if you want to get to Bayonne or other towns. Not in the middle of town but still really well situated.

The air conditioner wasn’t working (I also fully admit I may have been too tired to figure out the remote) so the room was a little hot but otherwise everything was PERFECT, thank you so much!

The Hotel is located opposite the station. It is an old building which has been renovated and as you would expect the floorboards are a bit creaky so it can be a bit noisy. Would have liked a hairdryer in the bedroom and an egg for breakfast.

We choose the hotel as we wanted to be close to the railway station.
The room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good central location in Bayonne. The hotel has been undergoing significant improvements and it shows in the guest rooms. As the renovations continue and with it's location (right near the train station, where public parking is available and affordable) this will become an even more appealing option. Recommended.

Lovely service in the reception. I’m fairly sure I got an upgrade to a better room and I really enjoyed it :-)

Typical French country or smaller town hotel. A bit old. With some charm. Nice view on the ‘gare’ and part of the city. TV did not work. (?) But we didn’t need it. All in all, good.

This property was run down. The pictures do not reflect the current state of the room. The bed sheets had stains and the air conditioner did not work.

Amazing spot, excellent value. The only critique I have is that the cleaning staff is very noisy in the mornings. Otherwise, couldn’t recommend more highly!
