Lovely stay to access the local areas. Clean and comfortable for 2 nights.

The location is fantastic next to the bridge and the hotel has a fantastic restaurant where the staff were brilliant and I had a great meal in the evening.
Sadly for the 'stay' there was no hot water in my room in the evening, which the staff seemed to be uninterested in, and the next morning... still no hot water. No apologies, nothing was said, I could overhear other guests at breakfast saying the same thing. When I raised it at checkout, I just got a shrug and 'I'll mention it to maintenance'... sorry, not good enough.

Lovely hotel, great staff, room good but could have been cleaner i.e fan, shower door seal, window sil. Happy overall did not get to eat breakfast as left before service started, no price recuction offered though. Evening meal good. Overall stay was expensive 2 nights and meal with 1 drink £300

Surprisingly good stay considering it's a pub. Lovely room, comfortable and a good size. Quieter than I expected considering it's right on a main roundabout, but we did hear noise from pub goers chatting outside while smoking in the evenings. The main town is walkable (although uphill on the walk back!)
Food was great - dinner and breakfast. Our second morning we had to leave early to catch the ferry, so they were able to do us bacon baps to takeaway which we really appreciated.
All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay.
The only downside is the car parking. We arrived a little early which was still lunchtime service so had to leave and come back later as there was nowhere to park. Similarly in the evening, we walked to the town because we worried wouldn't get a space on our return due to how busy the pub/restaurant was.

Room was very warm & for the price on the small side.
Windows whited out.

Great pub atmosphere, great service in the restaurant.

Really easy access off the Menai Bridge onto Anglesey or onto the mainland. Very warm welcome, pub food available & Waitrose next door. Also further options available in the village looking over beautiful Menai Straits.

Great location right next to Menai Bridge, free parking, clean rooms, good pub, alright breakfast, close to beaches.

Spacious room, big comfortable bed. Toiletries provided. Great buzz in bar downstairs, lovely terraces and beer garden to rear, varied dinner menu with very good quality food. Lots of free parking. Lovely breakfast, would return.

Great stay , lovely room very clean and the staff very welcoming. Great food too

Great location, next to Menai Bridge. Good walking around Church Island. Lovely food and friendly staff.

The staff we encountered was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room had not been cleaned properly. Half-empty water bottle had been left on the coffee tray. There was only one small towel in the bathroom. When we complained and asked for more, the manager supplied two bath towels but didn’t apologize. The room looked out onto a dirty rooftop. There was big step up to enter the bathroom, which might have been a hazard at night.

Excellent lovely staff very comfortable rooms only did advantage no lift - I had a knee injury but staff were very kind and helpful

Great family room - beds were extremely comfortable. Generous bathroom too. Good choice of beers and food

Landlord and staff were lovely and the food in the dining room was really nice. Great choice for breakfast and dog friendly.
Pub was really busy Friday afternoon/early evening and is a popular place. The rooms were clean and spacious and ours was big enough to put a pop up puppy pen in.
5.0
The decor in the bedroom and restaurant was very tastefully done and the bar was always busy
4.0
The property was convenient for access to Anglesey Island and other sites in Wales.
The one downside was the lack of a lift.

Lovely hotel, great location and helpful staff. Family room was great with 2 proper single beds and huge bathroom.
Restaurant is good, breakfast lovely and even helped giving us breakfast to go when we had an early start climbing Snowdon.
Location great for walks and nearby restaurants, Dylan’s food and views are amazing. Free parking, always had a space. Hope to go back someday

Really nice, friendly place to stay. Large comfortable room. Not the best view over the roundabout, but the traffic did not disturb. Will return. One tiny thing, I am sensitive to sounds and at breakfast there was both music and tv playing - making it hard for me to have a relaxing breakfast. Other than this - great job.

Lovely team, comfy beds and the most amazing breakfast.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great stay, Staff amazing!
We had a planned meal in another hotel for Saturday evening. We left early because of shocking service and came straight back.

Lovely little inn for a one night stay. Restaurant and pub is fabulous, staff super friendly and helpful. My room was very very small but the bed was super comfortable. It was very hot due to it being summer and so the small electric fan was very welcome. Great bathroom which seems oddly large in comparison to the bedroom size. All round a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Although the hotel is situated on a roundabout at Menai Bridge and is very convenient for the whole area and there is plenty of parking with a lovely garden area and plenty of seating on decking, it can be noisy

Really nice comfy and clean room. Nice and quiet. Decent breakfast. Not enough staff on when we first got there around 4pm so they were a bit overwhelmed as it was busy inside and outside the bar. Would stay here again.

The Inn was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. However there was a problem with car parking because there are not enough spaces. On our first night we had to drive around for half an hour waiting for someone to leave. The second night we eventually had to park some distance away. There should be some exclusive parking spaces for residents.

Friendly staff, very clean and a good, varied menu in the restaurant

Great half term spent with the family. Staff were great and friendly. Rooms were clean and showers were good however, if I have to be picky it would be the neighbouring rooms could get noisy but perhaps some sound dampening across the corridor of some sort? Otherwise, no complaints.

We had a lovely 1 night stay. The staff were very attentive, polite and caring. It was a great little break to recharge the batteries.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were lovely, the food at breakfast was great and although I didn’t eat in the restaurant, the food there looked really good too! The main thing that made my stay great though was the staff. The staff were so accommodating and when I had a problem with the wifi in my room, they went out of their way to help and actually put me in a different room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable stay. Room clean, lovely shower & good night’s sleep. We booked at the last minute and only two rooms available on Hotels.com ours was on the smaller side but still great. We had dinner one night tasty fish and chips.

Great place to stay.

Lovely warm cosy place. Room excellent… just been refurbed… spotlessly clean. Only negative was our room was above the bar which was very loud with music and singing until about midnight.. but do understand it was Xmas week!! Would maybe ask for room on floor above if visited again..

Really nice warm, welcoming staff and clean comfy rooms. I ate from the bar menu and again everything was very nice and clearly cooked fresh. 2 very minor issues. My room was above the kitchen so fan were noisy until quiet late on. I was up very early the next day and had a barely warm shower despite running the water for ages. Had a roasting shower the night before so no major issue. Will 100% stay again.

Very comfortable hotel rooms above great pub / restaurant.
Stayed for one night only as visiting friends in Bangor. Menai Suspension Bridge closed to traffic right before my stay, which did make me consider cancelling my booking. Glad that I didn't as its great hotel and the bridge is walkable or taxi via Britannia Bridge so still a great location for Bangor and of course the whole of Môn.
I would book again here to have as a comfy base to visit the rest of Anglesey.
There are electric car charging points which I only noticed when I was leaving in the morning. My fault for not thinking or looking but that would have been great to charge my hybrid. Not sure if that feature is promoted but definitely will be a selling point for my future trips back to the area.
Rooms and the common areas of the hotel are being renovated(considerately and unobtrusively) now so I imagine what already appears to be a clean and well appointed establishment will only get better. The feel is very much modernised but in keeping with the age of the property. Period features aren't over done or chintzy. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a nice comfy, quiet break.
