It felt like 3 stars hotel.
No doorman, the pickup from the airport that we ordered from the hotel made us walk in the cold with the luggage to the parking lot with him. I mean what the point to get a private drive if you need to start walking miles in such freezing weather to the car?!
We asked for late checked out the said no.
I ordered sparkling water at the bar she gave me this huge bottle without a glass or anything like I'm in the supermarket.
Very noisy rooms.
Idk we stayed for less than 24h so it was ok not more than that.

Really lovely place with a cool vibe and energy. I wish that I had known that the rooms surround a party venue with noise til one in the morning. It's ok if the rooms are sound proof, but it was super loud until everyone cleared out around 1:30 am. Then you could hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. Two girlfriends were fighting and cursing each other out early in the morning in the room next to us. We heard every word. Rooms are spacious for New York. Bathrooms are nice and shower is great. But if a good sleep is important to you, it's not for you.

Beautiful stay at the Beekman! Excellent staff, food, and a lovely well appointed clean room. The hotel is beautiful. Will definitely return!

Very loud inside and outside hotel, did not get a lot of sleep. Bathroom needs better cleaning, grout is moldy and tile rusty.

Temple Court is a great spot to meet friends and grab a drink and apps. The location is great and very walkable to so much in FiDi/downtown. We had an issue with no hot water a couple of mornings, and it can be pretty loud on some nights, but overall we've enjoyed both of our stays there.

Really loved this hotel! It’s beautiful - has a very unique vibe. The staff were amazing. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything was wonderful EXCEPT if you are hoping to fall asleep before the Bar Room at the bottom of the atrium closes, good luck. I never have an issue falling asleep and because of the way the hotel is built, essentially tiers above, it is like a clanking echo chamber. It sounded like we were at a ballgame. Our children were up all night. We got terrible sleep despite the beds being comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, AVOID. I am a deep sleeper and heavy sleeper who can fall asleep after a pot of coffee and I could not get the rest I needed.

More than an hour wait for a valet parking to get a car back
It’s not acceptable.

Beautiful hotel in NYC that does not disappoint. Food, service and accommodations were wonderful. I will return and stay a bit longer next time.

Nice but a little noisy on the 4th floor

Service at the temple bar couple have been a bit more swift. Ordered a bottle of wine and waited over twenty minutes, asked server the status and did they couldn’t find the bottle. Waiting over twenty minutes isn’t really acceptable- clients should be informed the status or at least that they are looking for it and not wait almost half an hour to be told they can’t find the bottle so they could make a different selection. And when the tab comes there is a charge for the new bottle and the bottle they could not find.. be more transparent with clients.

A truly stunning hotel, centrally located, amazing staff. A real 5 star experience! Tried the Beekman after a bad experience at the Four Seasons, and it was the best decision ever. We will be back.

Customer service was excellent

We did have a great stay. Only area for improvement might be to include a luggage rack in the room for a place to pop a carry on. Otherwise staff was so kind and attentive. The environment was lovely and I can’t find any faults! A really pretty and unique hotel.

This is one of the best hotels someone could stay at in NYC. Similar hotels would be the Mr C. franchise though the Beekman is a true art hotel in a historic building with no comparison in terms of a classic NYC boutique hotel.
The downstairs restaurant and associated french bistro are top quality in a foodie city like NYC.
I could not recommend a hotel more highly than the Beekman.

The room got no sunlight and looked directly into an office building. It was constantly dark and everything was really old. The TV didn’t work and housekeeping never showed up once in 3 days despite us asking. I’m not sure why everyone thinks so nice. It was average and not worth the price.

This hotel is classy, elegant and exudes what you think of in a NYC hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Have stayed twice now and look forward to returning in the future.

The staff were terrific! Especially Annie who took care of our room and Taylor’s excellent individually focused guest service throughout our stay.

Beautiful hotel. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re traveling to this part of the city. Typical city traffic around the hotel. GPS was not helpful finding the front door. Drove around the block a couple times before we figured it out. Still, would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at The Beekman was great. The best part is the on site dining options. The Bar Room is stunning and has a great vibe. Be sure to make reservations if you are visiting in the evening on weekends. The bell staff are especially friendly. The only complaint would be that there is no self serve water in the lobby and twice during our stay the coffee was empty (no in room coffee available). Also, turn down service was only offered for part of our stay.

The vibe, architecture, services, and amenities are all lovely. Staff is warm and friendly, and the food and drinks at Le Gratin were excellent. If you’re looking for a taste of luxury without paying what you’d pay for a room at The Plaza or The Ritz, I’d definitely recommend The Beekman.
