Need to improve their variety of languages or have at least 1 bilingual person since it was a bit hard to communicate. The shower was leaking 24/7, the air conditioner turned off randomly but most of the staff was very polite and tried their best to make me feel welcomed.

Great staff and the hotel itself is not bad for the price. The problem is the location, this hotel is situated in a very dangerous part of Rio. My Uber driver who picked me up couldn’t believe we were staying in that part of town. Uber wouldn’t pick up from there either I’m assuming because it’s a bad area.

I was supposed to arrive on Monday, there was a delay and just got there on Tuesday. Them I was told that there was no room for me because I was supposed to have arrived on Monday.at The reception I was told I had to pay again. Finally they sort it out. But I was stressed out.

Always stay at this hotel 🏨 whenever I have business to do at Baixada Fluminense. To avoid traffic from city center. It’s a very good Hotel.

We booked the "Honeymoon suite" with the jetted tub and it was a total waste of money. The tub works but the water does't get hot, just slightly warm. We asked the staff to turn up the heat and their response was "this is HOT for us in Rio, but maybe not hot where you come from" LOL. The sink leaked all over the floor, there was a terrible smell coming from the the drain in the bathroom, that made the entire room smell like sewage! We were on the 1st floor and the noise from the hotel garage next door made it very difficult to sleep. It's also not a very good location, far from everything and they changed the name of the hotel, so taxi drivers have a hard time finding the place. The food was decent and that's about all.

The hotel is not situated in the city center, but from the city and from the airport you can easily reach it by Metro (Pavuna station) and bus riding to Shopping Mall "Grande Rio". The rooms are very comfortable, big and welcoming. There is also a fridge inside, which is filled with various drinks and snacks! The receptionists are super friendly, unfortunately most of them speak only Portuguese. There were 3 staff understanding pretty good English and helped wherever they could! The breakfast was good as well and the rooms are being cleaned on the guest's request. The hotel is perfect for people preferring calm areas in a huge city like Rio and still wanting to easily reach tourist attractions, city center and beaches. I will definitely book this hotel again at my next trip to Rio. Obrigado!

The hotel is good, breakfast great, parking easy and front desk helpful. However few of the other staff need to understand the difference between the Vogue Hotel and the Motel. I had a really great time. Will be back as I believe it will get better. Carlos from London UK🇬🇧
