Overall a great stay. The place was updated and well kept. The staff are friendly and very helpful and respond to any issues immediately. We had an issue with the air conditioner and shower and they fixed the issues right away and were very apologetic.
It is located a little bit from the center of the town but a few dollars gets you a tuk tuk to wherever you need to go. Great restaurants nearby and the beach is only a few minutes away as well. Check out the restaurant called Up 2 U near the local elementary school. It has a great view for sunsets, good food and drinks and is located at the very end of the strip on the beach so it’s not as crowded.
The hotel pool was awesome and all rooms have a great view. It’s a small hotel that provides a more personal feel. The staff took care of any taxi needs and scheduled any excursion we wanted to go on. Be sure to do the 4 island hopping. That was one of our favorite things to do- it includes the emerald cave tour!! So much fun!
Thank you for a fantastic stay! We hope to return soon!

This villas has by far the BEST BEDS in Thailand. They were very very confortable and not rock hard like every other hotel I have had stay in this trip. The service is also outstanding and the staff make me feel like home. Also the breakfast was delicious. And they have lunch for sale as well if you don’t feel like going somewhere else at a very reasonable price.

The owner of this resort went above and beyond to accommodate my stay. I am a solo traveller, she made me feel more than welcome by asking if I needed any assistance with booking for travel days, which she did with ease and comfort. The location was perfect, close to the road but tucked away so you’re in your own beautiful oasis. The breakfast was beautifully presented with fresh fruit hearty breads and very large portions! Now for the rooms, oh my gosh, after traveling for 3.5 weeks in Thailand it was absolutely refreshing to have a comfortable bed! I stayed at this beautiful resort for 5 nights, and caught up on a months worth of sleep. Thank you!! The pool was perfect, comfortable lounging chairs, beautiful trees and flowers surrounding. It was without a doubt, the most wonderful place I’ve stayed in Thailand, but the thing that made it so magical and special was my host Arthaya. She really made it feel like home. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Koh Lanta, look no further, and book now!! :)

I stayed 2 night in Arthaya Villas. The surrounding is a beautiful garden with a decent size swimming pool and a pond. The villa consist of a living room and a bedroom that are tastily decorated and the bed is comfort. The shower is big size... Location is on the main road and far from any beach but if you have a motorcycle or a car it should be a comfort and convenient stay.

We traveled throughout Thailand for a month, and Ko Lanta was the last week. Arthaya Villas is an exceptionally quaint and excellent place to stay on Ko Lanta. This is a new, small boutique with only six individual villas. The entire place is beautifully designed inside and out, with clean modern detailing. Regardless of its impeccable austere aesthetic, it is as comfortable as you could ever hope. The landscaping is carefully designed and with stunning execution, especially for a facility that is so new. Beautiful pool. The design of this facility is perfect, if you appreciate a tranquil, modern aesthetic. The villas are centrally located on the island, so you can travel south or north very easily.
The staff is wonderful, especially the owner Ya. She is smart, helpful, and speaks excellent English. She can arrange everything you wish to do on Ko Lanta; snorkleing, cooking classes, transportation. Additionally, I got sick from eating in Saladan (NOT related to this villa at all, I'm sure of it) and Ya and her staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help comfort me. They went so far as to bring me medicine and special food from the kitchen to my room. I will never, ever forget the kindness and compassion I was shown.
Tuk-tuks and red-cars go by all the time, hailing transportation never took us more than 5 minutes, day or evening. Beaches are 10 minutes away in both directions.
Great breakfast and lunches in the cafe. Excellent coffee.

Most of all I would say that the owner of the hotel is a lovely person. I was staying here with my daughter of 13. We had to cut short our stay by one day because my older daughter had to go into hospital back in the UK. Although I admitted to having broken a glass in the room, none of this or any other charges was an issue. She understood why we had to leave. This is to typical of Thai people.
Although nothing to do with the hotel here is another example of how kind I have found Thai people to be: We went to a Thai boxing event and unfortunately I dropped my wallet. It contained B10000+ and all of my bank cards. I returned to the stadium to look for it. When this boy of perhaps, 13 saw me looking he said "You lost money?" and gave me my wallet with everything in it. I tried to give him a reward but he refused to take anything. A lovely country.

We spent 2 nights and it was comfortable and nice. The villas are brand new, very modern and well decorated. The manager, Ya, was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place as its good value and modern.Only negatives was the pillows were big and bulky, bed isnt a king size and lastly there were no pots/pans for use in the villa kitchen.

Booked 2 nights. were so impressed with cleanliness and comfort booked another 3 immediately. Fair price on scooter rental. Woman who runs the place very nice and accommodating. Even gave us a ride to another hotel when our stay was done. Good location in the middle of island can get to North or South or Old lanta in 20 minutes. Beach just a 3 min. scooter across the street. Good breakfast and REAL/good coffee at fair price. Comfort of having your own kitchen.
No complaints at all. You pretty much have to rent a scooter on Ko Lanta.

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay despite thunder showers the whole time. The rooms are huge with a separate living room and kitchen. They have great wifi. The downside to this place is that it is a decent walk if you want to go to the beach as it is across the road and down about a kilometre to long beach.
