The location of the hotel near the main square in Lisbon was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful eg the receptionist phoning to make a restaurant reservation. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable & the room cleaned to a high standard. The only downside was a lack of wardrobe/drawer space which might have been an issue if we had been staying for more than a few days.

We were greeted by Claudia and Tania. Both so very helpful! Tania even helped us plan and reserve our tickets to travel to Belem and Sintra. She went about and beyond our expectations. We loved our stay. Location was away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon but a 5 minute walk would get you in the middle of it all. Room was perfect for us - comfortable bed and the little kichenette is an excellent addition. The breakfast buffet is a sumptuous assortment of fruits, breads, pastries, eggs, coffees and juices.

Amazing hotel! The room (we had a triple) was beautiful with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The staff was so thoughtful with each detail, remembering my husbands birthday by writing a card and sending treats to our room. Staff also walked us up to our room, sent a welcome card and treat and parting card and gift. We loved having the restaurant on site for food or drinks. The personal touches were the best we have ever experienced in a hotel and we would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was fabulous! The rooms were beautiful, but the tram outside was loud and shook the room. We didn't hear it between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Other than the tram, it was a great place to stay.

This was both a wonderful location within Lisbon and a beautiful building and hotel in itself. The staff was unbelievably, friendly, nice, helpful and attentive. The amenities offered were nice (laundry was done before expected, having a local cell phone as supplied was very very handy, we do not speak Portuguese so staff were more than happy to place a few enquiry calls for us)... Staff were very knowledgeable about the city and always happy and smiling.We made use of the restaurant several times for both breakfast and dinner and dessert. We especially loved the opportunity to sit outside al fresco on the lovely square. We appreciated the little thoughtful extras like porto and Portuguese tarts brought to our room. Couldn't believe our luck in picking this location as it was walkable to SO much of our travel / sightseeing list and the ATM we preferred and also places to eat or get coffee. Have already recommended this hotel to friends and when returning to Lisbon would definitely stay there again!

It's a handsome, somewhat old-school hotel. Staff was outstanding. You should be aware that there's no refrigerator in the room (at least the one I stayed in). Be aware as well that it's located in the heart of the tourist zone, which has its pluses and minuses.

This was an awesome hotel - great location, a bit away from the busy bustling noisy streets. Nice walks to & from attractions, shopping & dining. I can not say enough about the staff - very warm, welcoming, courteous, helpful, professional. We were treated to chocolate goodies on our 1st night and a parting gift on our last night. Spacious & comfortable room.air conditioning worked great (not always the case with some hotels in Europe). The restaurant Delfina was also great. The breakfast was great option - you can request for cooked eggs, bacon, omelette. We would definitely choose this hotel if we go back to Lisbon. Truly a gem.

A wonderful boutique hotel centrally located with easy access to the metro and trains. Spacious room with all the amenities and bottled water daily which was perfect when arrived back from the warm temperature outside. Thoughtfull welcome and thank you gifts. I changed to this hotel, as the original one I was staying in had a lot of construction work being carried out nearby and so was very noisy. The AlmaLusa was perfect, so convenient but tucked away slightly. The staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient city hotel with character. The restaurant is excellent too.

We loved this hotel so much we rebooked it during our first night stay there. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Most of all I enjoyed the amenities we received and the care we felt each day. Definitely recommend a stay here. Major plus is how walkable the area is and how nearby shopping, tourist attractions, and food are.

Our stay at AlmaLusa was wonderful. A full-service stay where they thought of everything. Although the room was on the small side, they managed to fit everything into a compact space.
