Great location with plenty to do and see. Rooftop lounge was great and I also had a massage which was also good.

Very clean, except the carpets in the hallways. Should be replaced. Staff excellent

Really lovely stay at the venue

You are the most helpful and wonderful people at the reception - especially Venessa, who helped me with a tour and gave me a good tip about an outdoor concert. Much more than you can ever expect. Thanks

Thank you Carla, Vanessa and Sergio! A lovely stay at a great little spot.

Very noisy area. But of Course that’s what happens when you’re in the Center city in the great location

Lovely spot in the center of old town, steps away from the Duomo. Carla at the front desk was amazing, welcoming, and the utmost profession. I had a tech issue and she went above and beyond to help, which is much appreciated! The rooftop terrace also has a nice view and seating.

This hotel was a perfect location. The fish market is literally right around the corner. Every thing else is walking distance. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful in booking your transportation to the beach ( a must do) and they are efficient. The ladies at the breakfast are very nice.

Everything was just great and the girls, specially Vanessa, were outstanding.

It was a place to sleep while we waited for the airport to reopen. Would never choose to stay here again. Area around the hotel isn’t the nicest. If you’re expecting 3 stars or above, this isn’t it

Staff was very nice and friendly. Parking a little far from hotel but you are staying at the heart of the city so it is what it is.
Location is great and the rooms are decent.

Not very clean area

It was not my first stay at this hotel: I know what to expect when I booked and I was not disappointed.
The location is more more than central: it’s one of the most convenient.
Vibrant Saturday night evening outside doesn’t equate to noise inside. The rooms are very quiet. Very nice the terrace on the roof: it has an amazing view. I hadn’t an opportunity to try breakfast buffer.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with a kitchen area in our room . Our room faced the Main Street and the hum of the nightlife did not bother us .
The location is amazing !
Reception is not maned at night but door security is good with your key card being your access into the property. There is an emergency contact number should you need it .
Rooms are tasteful . Staff lovely !

This was our first time in Catania, and we were VERY disappointed. The city is VERY run down and there is trash and graffiti everywhere. We did NOT feel safe wandering too far from Duomo Square. The best part of our stay was the hotel. EVERY single staff member was kind, courteous and BEYOND HELPFUL! They were all lovely.

We loved the convenience, cleanliness, rooms, breakfast on the roof terrace. Awesome.

Location in Catania was excellent. Catania has a reputation that we did not experience. The area of the city this hotel is located is very nice and worth the stop. Roof deck was amazing for wrapping up the day.

Initially very shocked and upset by the state of the room I was given. Very old and tired bathroom and kitchen. Light fixtures broken. Marks all over the floor and walls. The room was very run down and tired for such a high price point and for a 4 star hotel that I’ve come to expect on Expedia. Was told no room upgrade available with gold status. Expedia did show rooms available when I checked online. Spoke to Expedia who said would move hotels but then went back on what they said. Hotel then did offer another room which did have a better bathroom however still a lot of wear and tear and stains on the furniture. Initially was off put by this.
However this hotel is in a great location and the staff are really lovely. Once moved to the new room the bed was more comfortable. Loud music and street noise can be heard in evenings till about 1am.
Good rooftop seating and view of Etna.
I did enjoy my stay and glad I didn’t change hotels.

Room was huge and adequate for a family.

The hotel's strategic location offered unparalleled access to the city's major attractions, making exploration effortless. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the gastronomic journey that Catania had to offer. Thanks to the invaluable recommendations from Karla at the front desk, we discovered a myriad of culinary delights - every meal was a feast for the senses, from freshly caught seafood to homemade pasta… a true celebration of Sicilian flavors at their finest.

Staff is very friendly but the HOTEL needs updating

Centrally located perfect to get a real feel of being in Italy. If you like to walk to local shopping, a cafe or to a bar….this hotel is right in the middle of everything. I stayed on a Monday-Thursday. At night you can hear music from local bars etc. It stopped around midnight. So if you’re a light sleeper and go to bed early….this could be an issue. Room was clean and was functional. The room was LARGE.
Staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English which helped me a lot.
I normally stay at Hilton Hotels but wanted to try something different this trip. Glad I did!

This boutique hotel is in a great central location and only a few hundred meters to the fish market and the main square and church. However the rooms are very small. My 6 ft husband couldn’t stand up in half of the room and kept hitting his head on the roof beams. The bed is only a double. I would look for something close by but with bigger rooms.

The staff was great, front desk and housekeeping. One staff member, Vanessa, was super fantastic. Super friendly, helpful and professional. I can’t say enough positive things about her. We were there to enjoy Christmas and the staff made sure we were well taken care of.

My stay at this property was very pleasant. The staff were extremely hospitable, especially Valentina who was always happy to help out with any questions or queries that I had.
Would definitely return for another stay next time I am in Catania

New vibe in a great location for walking the parts of the city that are safer and cleaner. Took a half-day guided tour with Paola and learned so much about the city and its history and ecology. Our weekend here in November was delightful.

Very friendly service, location too, if You don’t arrive with car. There is, however, a car park near there and you can actually drive in front of the hotel for dropping off and picking up the luggage.
Needs a bit of renovation though.

Duomo Suites is fantastic. The rooms are clean and large. The staff are passionate and helpful. The area is a bit messy but that is beyond the hotel's control. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.
