We had a wonderful stay in this historic property. Beautiful building. Clear instructions on how to get in and the parking area was nice and tucked away. My only wish is that check out could be at noon so I could send more time there 🙃 Definitely would return and recommend.

Love our stays here! Always so beautiful and inviting! The tv didn’t work but there was a power outage because of weather the day before so I assumed that was why and honestly didn’t bother with it anyways! It was still wonderful!

The room was fine. The pictures that were given of the property had nothing to do with what we actually got. I think this is more to do with Chipman Hill than Expedia. For reasons unknown, Chipman likes to keep it a mystery until you walk into your room. You won't know the location until after you book. We thought there would be a couch and there wasn't. so, when our son visited, he and I sat at the top of the bed. The bottom of the bed kept flipping. My husband tried to correct it but to no avail. But again, overall the room was fine.

This heritage property is a wonderful place for accommodations while visiting Saint John, NB. It is in walking distance of numerous restaurants, pubs, cafes around the Uptown Area (although some hills involved!) and near parks. The rooms have wonderful furnishings and amenities; and one of the most comfortable beds ever slept in. The kitchenette is fully equipped if you want to make your own meals on site. Full marks to the operators for their communications ahead of time; instructions made for clear access to the room. We would stay here again!

I almost hate to tell you so that I can always get a spot here but truly this is too special not to share it. I was really quite amazed. I'd never stay anywhere else now in St John. What a change from the normal sterile/always the same hotel room/suite. The room décor furniture and architectural details were quite amazing. a great location, incredibly comfortable and so scrupulously cleaned it appeared brand new. The check in process worked flawlessly, I needed a minor bit of help during the stay and they responded instantly and solved the small issue. I really can't think of a single thing to change. Value for $$ is outstanding.

Our stay was comfortable, clean, in a great location and quiet. The room, while not very large, had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. We did not receive instructions for check-in but I was able to call the after-hours line and they were very helpful!

Perfect spot to take a walk on the Boardwalk, very close to Market Square. Hard to get use to the traffic but that’s not a mark against Chipmanhill. I was very impressed with the room, neat and tidy, the kitchenette was perfect. The decor was very homey. I will definitely recommend this building to others

We had a wonderful time at Chipmam Hill, Pratt House. Our room was lovely and had all the comforts of home, but better. Having a full kitchen was convenient. We made breakfast every day and ate in twice! My only wish was the the windows could open. When using the kitchen, cooking smells get trapped in the room. An open window would help to air it out. Other than that, Chapman Hill was a perfect choice for us. The location is convenient, check-in and check-out couldn’t have been simpler due to the excellent contacts from the main office. We have a small car, so parking across the street in the garage was a piece of cake. The next time I visit St. John, I will be certain to choose Chapman Hill. We loved it.
