Enjoyed our 5 day stay. The staff were very helpful. Great English Breakfast.

Traditional hotel with a fabulous seafront location. The room and bathroom were a good size. Very comfortable bed. We opted for an upgraded sea view room which was lovely… but if you’re a light sleeper br prepared for both hovercrafts starting up at 6am!! Good selection for breakfast.

Great place to relax and enjoy the isle of wight.

This hotel is 190 years old and quaint. If you like history then you'll love staying here. Great English breakfast.
Warning for all you I-phone, I-Pad junkies. They only have Wi Fi in the Lobby NOT in the rooms and no Outside telephones. Welcome to the 19th Century. We loved it. The Staff is fantastic as well.

It was a comfortable stay, room was generally clean just some marks around the toilet that looked as though they could have been removed with a better clean.
A fridge in the room would be nice to enable storage of cold drinks for overnight.
Breakfast wasnt great, the sausages in particular were unpleasant, but the staff service at breakfast was good.

The hotel was strategically located near the buses and ferry.

Great place to stay in a perfect location

Overpriced for what it is - an old hotel in need of upgrading. Over £100 per night for single, B&B. No Wi-Fi in my room, which was situated directly above the kitchens - so noisy, with the smell of fried food. Very limited parking, which I wasn’t able to use. Breakfast was very average and obviously not freshly cooked, although the ding room itself was pleasant enough. Wouldn’t recommend.

The positives are that it was comfortable and clean. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The negatives are that there is no parking, but down the road is a parking you can pay to use for a few days, and this is really minor, but there is nowhere in the shower to put your toiletries.

Found staff very helpful and friendly like the biscuits on hospitality tray

It is an amazing experience as it is near the beach the train , the buses and a lot of shops around . The parking its not specified that you have to pay £5 a night and it needs to be reserved with the hotel reception . The wifi connection not great in the rooms

We had a wonderfull time at your place en will come again

No complaints with the staff or the hotel at large. BUT my trip was very much ruined by the fact that there was a Soul "Event" playing Sh1t music until 12:30 am so loud my wife who is close to being deaf could not sleep. The hotel at check-in said "did you know about this" Seemed odd rather than telling me in advance about it as I am so sensitive to loud noise I would have cancelled.

Great comfortable room 😊
Great location too .

The door to my hotel room was left open by the cleaner all day. I was extremely concerned. How would you feel knowing that anyone could have gone into your room and gone through your belongings? It's not a nice feeling at all. I notified the staff but heard nothing back from them either during my visit or in response to my email.

For what we paid, this hotel was very good value. Great location for all transport links and great breakfast options too. I happily stay here again.

Just what you would expect from a Victorian hotel. No key card entry, air con, USB sockets. Not as fresh, bright, airy, or modern as you might like, but it is what it is, and has some character.
Room 74 has incredibly squeaky floorboards and provides an adequate location for sleeping and washing.
The place was clean enough and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
I only ate here for breakfast, having the buffet selection and full English, and they were perfectly adequate.
All in all, it was the perfect location to catch the hovercraft, do parkrun and have a mooch around for a day.

The staff was very attentive. Good meal options. The windows need some attention as not clean. Cobwebs on ceiling were seen.

A older traditional hotel but very busy. Room had great view of the Solent and all the activity around the waterside and transport hub. Meal in restaurant was very good and good value. Very convenient location

Room tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
Good choice of food at breakfast and dining room very pleasant.
Only one downside no parking at hotel but in council car park across road by Hoverport.

Nice enough room but for a premium room we had a view of the flat roof - unsure why it was premium

Stayed with a large single sex group for a low key stag weekend. Staff were super friendly and the location is spot on. Excellent bar service.
8.0
The room was lovely and clean, the staff very pleasant, the facilities in the room were great and the breakfast was delicious.
On the downside, WiFi wasn't available in all rooms, especially at the top of the building, signage to the rooms wasn't clear, the mixer taps were difficult to get the temperature right when having a shower and there were no bedside lamps which meant that you had to have the bathroom light on.

Very helpful staff
6.0
Staff excellent and perfectly situated for access to Hovercraft service, "train" and buses. Breakfast good.
Hotel fairly typical of the rather average standard we have come to expect in England however. Bedroom was at the end of a long winding corridor then up yet another flight of stairs. Too far from the main part to get any WiFi signal at all and hot water took ages to come through. Curtains very thin and no attempt to keep out the light. No bedside lights at all.

Staff were very pleasant, rooms clean, breakfast was lovely

Our room was superb at the front overlooking sea and hovercraft.Food was ok quite a good choice. Breakfast not so good but ok.
The main downside to our stay was not the Hotel but you rate we paid was £50 more than you paid them for our stay.
I have sent 2 EMails to yourselves about this,
. We would like reimbursement from yourselves for this amount. Regards Wendy Milcoy

When we arrived to check in we were greeted immediately and given a clear, precise, professional warm welcome.
The twin room we stayed in was very clean, spacious, the right amount of accessories & most importantly a comfy bed.
There was a welcome book. This offered us any information we required & included a history on the place.
Happy with the breakfast quality.
For me, a rare occasion where I literally had nothing to complain about & could just focus on enjoying my stay.
Well done. Would recommend.

I didn’t have time to even book in as a crisis occurred and I had to go home immediately. The staff were wonderful and very supportive during this very difficult time. I would always choose this hotel when staying in Ryde.
