Really great hosts which made for a smooth check in, excellent room facilities, freshly cooked breakfast, and in a great location.

Great accommodations and a great host. The location was close to the city centre and easily within walking distance. The room was great as well as the breakfast. I would definitely recommend the guest house. The host was very helpful with information and accessing a cab to take me to the airport.

Quaint accommodations, very spacious rooms, great breakfast, was happy to see vegetarian options. We would highly recommend this place and would stay again.

Great location. Easy walk to river, castle, pubs and stores. Host was friendly and helpful

The room was nice and clean and the bed super comfy. The breakfast was great too!

The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. Had a lovely stay!

Hosts were great, and breakfasts were wonderful and huge. Huge. Very convenient to walk to midtown. Towels were small but good. My biggest complaint was that the windows barely opened wide enough to get any kind of breeze and cool the room down.
Other than that, we like the place very much.

The property was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast that was prepared and the staff we very kind and professional.

A delightful place to stay! The rooms were cute and cozy, and it was nice having the included breakfast. The terrace has a great view of the city, and the view will be even better once the construction of the castle concludes. It's also a quick walk to downtown. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends!

My first time stay in this lovely Guest House. Great location(walkable to Inverness Station and multiple restaurants), really pleasant and clean room, comfortable mattress/pillows and free breakfast. But one thing this place stood tall is the kindness of the host. I highly recommend Ardentorrie Guest Home. Im going back with group of friends and this is the place we are going to stay.

Great walkable location to the downtown core (with a climb), wonderful breakfast with great choices, very friendly staff. I travelled with my brother and had booked the “family” room, which was great with 2 beds.

This centrally located property was the perfect place to stay as it was a great starting point to discover all that Inverness and the surrounding area had to offer. With stunning views of Inverness AND the castle (out the back door!), we absolutely loved our time staying at Ardentorrie Guest House.
Willie is the Host with the Most providing great recommendations on restaurants, where to walk, drive and what to see AND we can't forget his wonderfully delicious breakfasts each morning.
It's always great staying with someone who has grown up in the area because they know the best places to go and what to do.
Thank you Willie and Tania for such a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back.
Highly recommend Ardentorrie Guest House if you are looking for comfort, value for money and to be centrally located.

This B&B is so nice and welcoming. Seems recently renovated/decorated, very cute vibes all around. Breakfast was amazing. It's a great location for doing anything Inverness has to offer. We also liked that there was some parking available as we had a rental car. Very friendly staff, great place to stay with kids.

We had an amazing stay! The staff were so accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.

We absolutely loved our stay. My husband, toddler and I shared a room. I had to work some nights, and the desk was absolutely perfect for me to work. There was enough space for all of us, and the bathroom was large. All the details were absolutely adorable. It is such a cozy place! The breakfast in the morning was also lovely, and it felt like we were staying with friends or family. We will definitely be back!
(We stayed 4 nights, and it is so conveniently located! Great for walking around Inverness and the free parking was a huge plus too)

So comfortable I wish I booked another night to be complete rest & lazy stay in bed. What a treats to have a mint chocolate with a cup of tea (or coffee for you)
My room windows face the river and beautiful mountains. There are ongoing renovations Redcliff castle. It doesn’t affects my staying.

Absolutely wonderful property, and perfect location. We were on a tight schedule and it was so easy to walk into town and see everything in a short amount of time.

The Ardentorrie is in a quiet, convenient location with great views over the town. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day! I would absolutely stay here again.

The property itself was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman who served us was lovely. It was difficult to find parking and I'm not sure how safe the area is. The furniture and fixtures were a little shabby and outdated. Could definitely use a refurbish. Overall, the stay was acceptable. If you just need a place to sleep, a decent shower and a good breakfast at a good price, this place will do just fine. Don't let your expectations get too high.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel felt so homey and comfortable we wish we had got to stay longer. Perfect location - the main core of the city is minutes walk. Breakfast was super yummy. The room was very clean and incredibly spacious. I plan on recommending Ardentorrie to everyone looking to visit Inverness.

What a fabulous place! Spacious room with view of Inverness castle which is just behind the B&B. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with lots of goodies and extra supplies outside the room. Very spacious ensuite bathroom with an amazing shower. Breakfast was perfect, huge portions of cooked breakfast along with rest of the continental breakfast. 5 parking spaces for guests. Friendly hosts. We could not hear any other guests despite all rooms being on the same floor. Very comfortable beds, had a good night's sleep. Hair dryer and iron provided. Everything was perfect, without doubt the best stay of our entire holiday!

It was very easy checking in. Directions were super clear. The room was nice. The breakfast was delicious. And everyone was friendly! The area is so very central. The castle is right outside the window practically! I’d definitely stay again :-)

Lovely wee place. Room was so nice and bed really comfortable. Great view of the river and castle from my room. Breakfast was outstanding (especially the black pudding!). Great location. Definitely staying here again, next time I’m in Inverness.
2.5
Easy check in (got an email confirming access code & pre registration after booking).
Space for 4 cars as we arrived, room key and breakfast order form on table as we entered.
The ‘cracking’ really welcomes you! Especially on a cold day!
The decoration in our room & around the property were amazing (even the stag ornament on the stairway gave a little reminder!).
We had a lovely view from our room No. 6 of the castle.
Tea & Coffee supplied plus nice biscuits & chocs!
Bottle of drinking water also supplied - very sustainable!
Extra portable heater in the room which was perfect for a quick boost when we got back in the early evening.
Hairdryer, ironing facilities also available with blanket and extra pillows in the cupboard, plus a tray which came in handy.
En suite Shower (with small wall heater)
This was the only place that we saw a need for some TLC however it’s a bathroom - water, wear & tear etc etc!
Towels supplied on a lovely towel holder.
Bodywash/shampoo supplied.
Slept well despite a storm outside.
The Breakfast room was presented well, selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt & juices
Cooked Breakfast with Black pudding & Haggis - You can’t go wrong with that!
Perfectly located to the Shopping Area - High Street - pretty much the end of the road & down some steps & Ness Islands - 20 min walk.
Highly recommend a stay at Ardentorrie Guest House along with a visit to the Black Isle bar, The Malt room & Lock Ness Exhibition Centre

Great location and super easy check in/out. Fantastic breakfast. Opt for a room facing the castle if you can, it's pretty much right next door.

Very comfortable with beautiful view

Wonderful location, friendly staff. Rooms are very clean, cozy decorations, and nice bathrooms- would definitely book again.

Unfortunately our bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was an older wooden frame and creaked if you even breathed. This made for an awful nights sleep for my partner who is a light sleeper normally. The mattress also felt very poor quality.
On the positive side, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast cooked by the owner downstairs - but unfortunately wouldn't stay here again due to the bed.

Stayed for 2 nights, lovely breakfast, lovely room, lovely view outside the window and convenient for the centre of town. Fantastic hosts. Top marks!
