Lovely, tranquil accommodation with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the salt marshlands - we enjoyed watching the bird life. The unit was well equiped, clean and modern with a comfy bed and is only a short drive from St Helens. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, particularly when the power was out due to a storm. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow. An amazing property with wildlife to match. To be able to explore this property and enjoy all it has to offer from a modern and super comfortable accommodation was terrific after multiple Tassie properties.

This was a real find and a disappointment on our part as we could have easily stayed here longer had we known how beautiful the place was. Views from the room were excellent. The fact that there were walking trails out to the water was a great way to relax upon arrival.

A surprise gem. So clean and inviting. Just outside of town with peacful views. Would definitely stay again. Our unit was "Robin"

We had a really nice short stay for one night, but the cabin was clean and well laid out. We enjoyed our brief stay.

The "Robin" villa was modern, comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equipped with an induction Cooktop, microwave and all plates etc. The location is excellent and the manager friendly and effective.

What an amazing property! Well appointed, with every mod-con, and spotlessly clean. Amanda is a very helpful host. We loved looking over the lake, with the ocean in the background.

Pelican Point Sanctuariy is a great place to stay. Amazing views, just off the beaten track so quiet, and managed by Amanda. Amanda also finds time to care for injured wildlife, which gives real meaning to Sanctuary! An amazing to stay on your tour round Tasmania.

Wonderful little house, exceptionally well appointed, clean, spacious, lovely people who were very considerate of privacy, great views of the river and close to everything in St Helens.

Great view! So impressive to have both sunset and sunrise views in the property! Sunset from the door side and sunrise from the balcony side. The property itself was so spacious and beautifully decorated and equipped with all the appliances and amenities needed. We had great time in making our dinner in the modern kitchen and enjoying the food with the sunset view through the glass doors on both sides. Moreover, bedrooms and bathrooms are thoughtfully designed. We wish we could stay longer!

The view from our villa was spectacular and there were lots of beautiful flowers growing outside our deck and birds. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We were only there for one night but could have stayed longer. I did not notice a washing machine which would have been helpful.

We loved everything about this place. So peaceful and beautiful. Perhaps iron and ironing board in accommodation might be helpful for some travellers rather than having to use the reception area to iron as it is not open all day. Highly recommended. Loved watching the cows and ducks moving around during the day

Loved the views, and Amanda was great.
Will come back again

We stayed here only for one night on our way to Cradle Mountain. Beautiful detached cottages with enough privacy. It was so peaceful and quiet with no light pollution. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Robin villa which was so tastefully decorated. Nordic grey & whites, simple modern and efficient. The place seems fairly new and looks just like it does in the pics. The deck/patio is gorgeous with cows grazing not too far from the villa. The kitchen is well equipped. Shower pressure is great. Bed slightly softer than we prefer but comfortable. Nice big TV which came in handy to watch Australian Open. No issues with check-in - Amanda left a key for us since we arrived a bit late. 4 min drive from the town of St. Helens. Enjoyed a great meal at Nina. Wi-Fi is a bit spotty which is understandable. About 10 min drive to Bay of Fires which I would highly recommend. Overall serene, calm and beautiful place to spend a few days. Oh and don't pass on the Lease 65 oysters - simply amazing!
