Hyatt Place is a great place to stay. The staff was attentive and professional. The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The room was very well layed out and clean. My one observation, not a complaint, was that the lighting in the bathroom area could be better. I found it a little dim for shaving, so a woman trying to put on makeup might really wish she had more lighting. I didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, but it looked very good. Several people were enjoying it as I went through the lobby. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place and will definitely be staying there again.

The hotel is really nice. Very clean and comfortable. However, when I walked in the door, two people were working behind the counter and the bartender was standing by the counter. None of them greeted me. I had to say hello first as I got to the desk. Then everyone just looked at me. I stood there waiting to see who was going to help me. one of the guys behind the desk told the girl she could handle it because he was busy with something. She looked at him and said something about thinking he was going to handle me. Then the bartender said well I can’t take care of you because I’m the bartender. I was floored. Couldn’t believe that’s how I was greeted. I said “wow. I feel loved”. They mumbled faint laughter. Also, I went to the bar to eat and drink. Was told at 9:00 that the kitchen was closed and that the chef just had 6 orders. I asked if I could add an 8th and was told no. Online the restaurant says that it’s open till 10. Below that it says the bar is open till 11. I asked the bartender if they were only closing at nine tonight or if they always do because online it said 10 o’clock. He said the bar closes at 10. Which is inaccurate according to the website. It says it closes at 11 and that food is served till 10. The woman who checked me out this morning was extremely friendly, had a great personality and helped me out with some suggestions for breakfast.

The surprise $100 fee for incidentals was sneaky and unprofessional that needs to be set upfront times are hard people doing the best they can do. They don’t need a $50 surprise for every night at the hotel. The late night staff was rude and overworked and understaffed.

The staff was amazing. The free breakfast was great for the price. I had no idea it was included. I normally like to stay in higher end, boutique hotels when traveling - but for what we needed (one night for the PSAT test) - this place is a keeper. I would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed here twice, the first time I was not told about the parking fee and I wasn't charged. The second time I was told about the fee and was charged for parking. I most likely won't book here again due to the parking fee.

Horrible check in experience. The clerk loudly announced names and room numbers assigned to our high school sports team in front of a lot of people in the lobby/bar area Did not feel safety and privacy was a priority and will never stay here again

This hotel was 5 star at a great price. it was located away from the freeway (no noise) in a great neighborhood..Excellent nicely lit Parking lot. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had. They kept it well stocked all the way until breakfast time was over instead of letting things run out..So Great!! It was so clean and comfortable. The entire hotel looked brand new.

Staff friendly except for the bar tender, waiting to be helped could be long as he was in the kitchen or on his phone all the time, doesn’t pay attention to the customers and clearly he does not care about his job. Sad statement for the other members of staff who really are great. Also they use disposable plates, glasses, folks, spoons and knifes at breakfast. Too much trash that contributes to continue contaminating our environment. Urgent to take action to solve this.

Elevator didn't work; we would climb up four flights of stairs to get to our room because the one that did would take such a long time. Pool was dirty and closed on the one day we had to swim.

The room was a really nice size. The TVs were bigger than most in other hotels. Unfortunately, the air conditioner did not cool the room down. We called for maintenance but they told us to give it time, but it never cooled down. The room’s flooring as sticky and the chair cushion was damaged. It could use some updating.

Wonderful 2 night stay. Only issue was that One elevator was out of service so lots of time waiting, occasionally took the stairs due to long wait. Breakfast was excellent!

The staff is very friendly. There were two big dogs in the room across the hall they were barking almost non stop. I went down to let the staff know and they put me in a different room without me asking for a different room. I can’t say enough about that. We will always choose this hotel for our business trips. Breakfast is always good too.

only one elevator was working and the one that was working the lobby button was taped to the wall.The card keys wouldn't open our door after three different keys we were given one that worked. Our room was stuck in a back corner of the hall way for disabled people.This will be our last stay with Hyatt.

The room was comfortable enough for a two day stay. The handicapped room was manageable but fixtures were definitely designed for last ability and didn’t cater to a variety of handicaps. For example the shower chair was in a bath tub and the end on the outside had a fixed arm so my husband had to work a little harder to sit on the bench before he could slide over. He has a below the knee amputation. So call ahead to confirm your handicap needs are met.
