Great stay. If you a looking for lodging in Broadway stay here.
5.0
This inn has self-service check-in that was easy to navigate. The property is tucked behind the businesses on the main street, so just a little tricky to find. But very cozy and charming accommodations befitting of the Cotswolds!

Great property beautiful clean and very cosy room. Ideal location and parking good. Shame about building work next door but that will not last forever. Will certainly come back again.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The only problem we had was that it was very hot, with no air conditioning (there was an effective fan but it was too noisy to keep on at night(, and there was no alternative to the very heavy duvet provided.
The location was excellent, and the breakfast at the café next door was very good.

The accommodation is simply rooms in a building off the high street, no reception or staff in attendance. Given an access code to gain access at around 2:30pm. Room is very clean and tidy but we did have some niggles, e.g the body wash and conditioner dispenser was broken, the shower didn’t drain very quickly which meant standing ankle deep in water, the shower obviously once had a glass screen but now has a curtain that clings to you! Room was also very warm and the fan provided didn’t really help cool it down. Very dim lighting in the bathroom which makes it difficult to shave etc.

Really lovely stay thank you!

Lovely location centrally located in Broadway
2.5
Very clean and comfortable accommodation in an excellent location within the centre of Broadway. Self service for check-in and check-out hence the reason for only giving 4 stars for service as service wasn’t really required.

Overall, a nice spot. Difficult to find at first, and not the easiest to navigate certain services.

Lovely two night stay in Broadway.
Room clean, comfortable and well equipped. The fan was a godsend as couldn’t have managed without it in the heat.

The double bed was broken. So creaked all night. My son took a look at it and it hadn’t been built properly so the wood had all split where the screws went in. We were all kept awake with the constant creaking

Our room named "The appartment" was close to fantastic. It is really an appartment. Big dining room, 2 big sleeping rooms and a very big kitchen. Only bathroom was small. Direct to High street with all restaurants and shops. Parking looked trouble on the apaer, but was easy up on arrival.

Cons- Bed gave us both back ache , woken at 5 am to lots of barking dogs.
Pros- Lovely room, spacious in the heart of Broadway close to all.

Overall v good. Only issue was the broken blind.
There is also construction work going on at the back so parking not available but was able to use the Lygon car park.

The description of this property was very misleading. On Expedia they say someone is at the front desk daily from 8 am-8 pm. When we arrived, we found an apartment building with no instructions and a locked door. My phone wouldn’t work (we were traveling from the US and had consistent problems with our cell phones not working in the Cotswolds) and I could find no check in instructions on Expedia’s website. I finally went to another hotel in the area and they were able to call The Lodge for me. The woman on the other end kept saying I received an email with the checkin code but when I checked, there was no email. When I asked the woman to please give me the check in code over the phone, she kept saying “just check your email”. I kept telling her I hadn’t received the email or code and this frustrating interchange continued for a while until she finally gave me the code. After staying in beautifully appointed 17th century coaching inns throughout the Cotswolds all week for the same price - with free breakfast to boot - this was a very disappointing and stressful experience. The facility itself was very nice and beautifully appointed but lacked the quaintness or service of our other stays.

Very clean room, the Deer room, nice size with large bathroom, great shower. Tea, biscuits and milk in mini fridge, alternative milks available if needed. Quiet area behind the main road. Several great restaurants, but book ahead as they can be busy for dinner. We stayed here 8 years ago on holiday and are glad we came back, it was just as good as we remembered.

Excellent! This was our fourth time at the property and we continue to have a pleasant experience each time. We take the “Duck” room which sleeps 4 and is ideal for a small family. There’s also a pantry which is very helpful with kids. It’s basically a studio apartment right in the middle of broadway high street. The rooms are clean, modern and cosy. Please note there’s no staff at the hotel - but you receive all the instructions on phone and email and it’s fairly straight forward. The housekeeping come in the mornings to clean up. In my view, best hotel in Broadway for a family and the tariff is usually reasonable.

We had a really nice stay at the Lodge. The rooms are large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It’s in a great location for exploring Broadway, just off the High street. We couldn’t get parking right outside, but they quickly organised an alternative at the Lygon, which was absolutely fine. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

We had a great nights sleep and the room was lovely and clean. You could use some usb outlets by the bedside tables and a night light in the bathroom as the over head lights are a bit intense. It would be useful to have better direction to the lodge itself and parking. The phone number was very helpful and the girl who answered was as well.

Had a fantastic stay at the Lodge at Broadway. We stayed in the pheasant room which was really lovey. The check in process was really easy and the staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent stress free stay. Clean rooms and all amenities at ones doorstep

The room was updated and quite clean. The staff were very nice.
Unfortunately, the bathroom and hallway had a very unpleasant odor from the fryer in the restaurant next door. Even with a window open, the smell was strong. I don’t think there’s anything that can be done without shutting off a shared vent. At least the bedroom didn’t smell if the bathroom door was kept shut.
There’s no separate room or closet for luggage storage. There’s a lobby you can leave them. You do need a code to get into the lobby and there’s a camera. We didn’t have a problem but FYI.
Other than the odor, it’s a comfortable room and super well located.

A very pleasant stay at The Lodge. Communication from hotel was very good in run up to and on the day of stay. Room was of excellent size, very clean and comfortable with a superb Hare theme throughout in terms of furnishings. Each room has a theme. Will definitely recommend and would not hesitate in going back.

Fantastic place to stay so close to the centre, very quiet location as just off the main street. Parking is excellent and room are comfy and have plenty of space. Nice touch the mini fridge in the room and also discounts for breakfast at a local cafe.

Very nice room. Clean, large enough, quiet, safe. Right on the main street and walkable to a variety of restaurants. Convenient parking. Every aspect is satisfactory except IF YOU NEED DECENT INTERNET SERVICE, THIS IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE.

The property is close to the shops and dining options

The room (Horse and Hound) was lovely and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Checking in was pretty easy, and the biggest challenge was parking. With no spaces out back we didn’t know where else to go. Some friendly neighbors were a great help and all was well. We hope in the future there are USB charging points, and a little more parking.

Big Brother is in full force here! very poor lazy yet intrusive service
Pros: beautiful clean place &location!
Big Cons:
*no staff onsite even during stated "manned" hours; though we received a welcome email re staff onsite during certain hours, this is a lie; just to get in the front door during the stated hours, we had to make an international call. The code and full check in instructions should've been included in the welcome email.
*there is NO WIFI even though it's advertised as having wifi; The supposed network didn't even come up as an option, and we tried it on 4 devices& from the lobby &several other spots. When we contacted mgt, we were told "everyone must be trying to log on at the same time"-- at 4pm; This is bogus, as the network didn't even show up for our entire stay.
*the most creepy thing is that cameras follow your every move, and the lazy mgt that can't lift a finger to help when you need wifi or a fan will spring into action if they claim you violated an unwritten rule that they just made up. It was creepy and disturbing, upsetting an otherwise peaceful stay. After lying about check in &wifi &refusing to provide a simple fan in a stifling warm expensive room (how hard is it to drop off /provide a $25 floor fan when theres no ac and it's hot? A fan should be a basic item!) But to top it off, when we opened a window vent to try to get some relief, mgt blew up my phone demanding the air vent be closed immediately, threatening us. No thanks!

Unfortunately I received a parking ticket for parking in the Lygon Arms..although I registered my car with the Lodge who confirmed they had given my car details to reception…somewhat disappointing result

The room had everthing we wanted. The bathroom was large and well equiped.

We only stayed one night but once we found The Lodge ( it was tucked away in a little courtyard) we were very pleased with our accommodation. We would recommend it in future

Good size rooms and bathroom, but no staff on site makes it a no-no for me as a female travelling alone on business.
Also no breakfast facilities and no desk to work at.
Should have read the small print !

Perfect location for a wander around the beautiful village. A little bit tired inside the room (Mould around bath, small hole in ceiling in bathroom, peeling paint), could do with a few touch ups in places but of course this doesn't impact the stay really. Overall a lovely little base for a night away. Straight forward self check in. Lovely to have fresh milk in the fridge and the option of proper coffee or sachet. Great tea selection and lovely to have the option of using a fan in the room.

We were arriving late but had excellent guidance for how to access our room, and having a discount for our breakfast at No 32 was icing on the cake. Perfect for a night away and a visit to the beautiful Broadway.

Great location and clean room. Bed slightly uncomfortable but overall a good value for money choice.

Everything was great!

Really enjoyable stay. Great location and excellent room and bathroom

Was a great village was not sure about the staff. We had to find a local to be able to contact the hotel to get ahold of reception
1.5
Ideal location . Just a little down in the mouth and needs some TLC like the communal flooring and attention around the bathroom window
2.0
OK mixed experience - firstly perfect location, room layout ideal and nicely furnished and decor etc. improvements - self check-in via text awkward (as Expedia does not share mobile number? Although we had on an email?) so waiting to get in. Room nice and warm but boiler type noise runs across ceilings giving a permanent drone and need to hoover behind furniture, as we pulled away to let radiator heat the room.
