It was amazing the staff were so accommodating; Shawn, Michael and Cheyenne made my trip amazing.

Positives were staff and the food.. however there was only one restaurant.. and the pools were too small and shallow therefore the water too warm.. the nightlife entertainment was not very good. For an all inclusive you had to go to the bar for drinks or food.

If you want a relaxing vacation, this is definitely the place. They only have one restaurant and one beach bar. One menu unless they have a special dinner night like seafood or Taco Tuesday but make sure you have reservations. Coffee bar and gift shop only open 7-3 daily. Beach bar closes down at 10pm. All inclusive packages available, one is basic and the other is premium which is the best. The downside is it’s 45 minutes from the airport. Nothing close by to do so you need a car and it’s on the East-End of the island. All the other hotels on the 7 mile beach don’t offer the all inclusive. So in the end, this hotel is worth it.

Right on the beach. With the storms coral was in the water. Coral little tough on the feet.

It was peaceful and beautiful. Just what I needed.

Very pleasant staff. Food was very good. We purchased the all-inclusive option without the premium upgrade and it was very financially worth it. Would recommend the resort for anyone wanting a very quiet and relaxed time.

Extremely friendly and very helpful staff!
Food was excellent! Very quiet location with everything you need!
One of the best options for Grand Cayman Island for rest and relaxation!

We really enjoyed our stay. Wish they had a few more food options for those of us who used the all inclusive

First and foremost, Expedia and Wyndham, were nor forthcoming when they advertised this establishment as an all inclusive. From the moment we arrived we were explained that the all inclusive package at every meal allowed you onto an appetizer, enteree and dessert. They tried to sell us another all inclusive package for $50 additional per person which would allow us fo eat anything. In our party it was me, my husband amd my son two sons ages 17 and 13.
We were not told by Expedia that this resort was a time share resort. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left were hounded by staff members about a 90 hour tour. We graciously declined several times however, we were still hounded. The clean beach towels are by the concierge so they stragically placed everything where you would bump into someone who wanted to give you the timeshare speech.
On the website they advertise they accept American Express and yet they do not.
The time share is located on the East End of the beach where it is full of seawood and nothing to do. People were never in the beach it was so disgusting.
Housekeeping only comes on the 3rd day however, if you want fresh towels you must go down to concierge and retrieve them yourself.
One evening I was standing in a towel in the bathroom after 5pm and a housekeeper abruptly walked in. I was in absolute shock she just stood there and never once flinched. I asked her to leave and not return.
I would not recommend this time share to my worst enemy.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
The outside bar staff was always very friendly and professional, the food was exceptionally good.
The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable and unforgettable experience from checking in to checking out. We will be returning again.

It is a really nice resort. Most of people there is on a timeshare.
So, this is not a typical all inclusive. There is only one restaurant on this property, but it an excellent restaurant.

We had a great time at Wyndham Reef Resort. The outside bar was perfect for lunch, and the restaurant on-site had a good breakfast and dinner options. We did one of the themed dinners, the Farm to Table, and it was good. The resort felt safe, quiet, and it was very clean. The pools were a little small for that size resort, and there's only one hot tub, so that was usually full. It was easy to swim and snorkel in front of the resort and there were lots of fish under the pier and dock at the resort next door.
The resort is about 45 minutes from the airport - we set up the hotel shuttle service which was $100 for 2 people each way. We rented a car one day from the little place across the street ($53/day) and drove to the Botanic Park, Rum Point, and Starfish Point.
There were lounge chairs available out front each day, activities (some free, some not), a coffee shop, gift shop, and books in the lobby. There's a grocery store across the street (1min walk) so we got coffee and creamer to have first thing in the morning - the condo had a coffee maker.
My only complaint is that we booked an all-inclusive package, and when we arrived we were informed that it was the 'standard' pkg, which didn't include steak or seafood, and had other limitations. We opted to get the upgrade for $50/day (each), but that was a surprise, and felt like a bait and switch. It included top-shelf drinks - but we had to ask specifically for them each time.
Just something to know before you go!

We had an amazing time on our vacation. The staff and food was outstanding for an all-inclusive. Philip the chef came out to a table a few times to check on the quality of the meals. The bar and food staff was very pleasant and super friendly. Most notable Samir, Benjie, Tony and Zipin. They do offer two all-inclusive packages the one that only offers three meals a day there is an up charge for a steak lamb and some of their meals which we were not aware of. The other package includes everything and upscale alcohol choices.
We had an amazing time and the weather was outstanding I would highly reccomend.

It is on other side of island and taxi's and shuttle cost a lot so be ready for that

In Panama there was a beltful beach but sharks made it dangerous so they install a fence to keep them out so I was just at this Hotel but the beach was full with see weed and it made the beach unenjoyable. For the see weed season a partial mesh fence should be install to reduce the impact on the costumers who paid good $ the enjoy the beach thank you.

Absolutely amazing!

The abundant seaweed on the beach was moved around everyday but never taken away. We saw other resorts which piled up the seaweed and removed it from the beach area. This could have easily been done by the Wyndham but they chose not to.
4.0
Only complaint is the lack of bar/food wait service to the beach/pool (chairs). Yes, the bar is on the beach, but I'm lazy!

The staff, meals and property were all fantastic.

We loved out time at Wyndham Reed Resort! Our room was directly off the beach leading to the pier they have on the water. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The food at the Beach Bar and the Tides restaurant was phenomenal! The reef was wonderful to snorkel in and we saw so many fish! We booked our own excursions through the website, but they also plan daily activities and live music throughout the week. We loved being on the East side of the island away from the heavily populated area on the West side. We even treated ourselves to massages at the hotel spa and had a wonderful experience there as well! Highly recommend!

This was our first time on Grand Cayman. We went with the all inclusive as we have kids and thought it would be easier. It was fine but I wouldn’t go all inclusive again as we were often out for meals on excursions and everything is pretty far from the east side. The sargassum on the beach is pretty bad. They try and clean it but you can’t really enjoy it. The 7 mile beach is gorgeous and puts this side to shame.
3.0
Pros- Quiet area. Beach front. Nice view from balcony. Staff was great.
Cons- Paid a lot of money for all inclusive so that we could have meals covered from a variety of restaurants. The 2 main restaurants had the same menu from both places so we really only had one place to pick foods from. Very disappointed in that for the amount we paid
5.0
Very relaxing far from busy part of the island. Good food and very friendly staff. Fun nights with magic show, seafood buffet, meat lovers buffet but also good choices of meatless food. Free bike, canoe and tennis rackets rental is great.

We liked being on the east end, quieter and less busy. Rooms were nice great view, and food was awesome. Mostly the staff was great!!
