Great stay in December for a week! The price is great for what you get- spacious rooms, fantastic location, etc. we paid the €10 a day for parking and HIGHLY suggest doing that if you have a car! Their spots are in the centro storico and made our week so much easier! We used their laundry services which too- they had our clothes back to us within 24 hours and it was extremely affordable. Wonderful local hotel with an excellent price point!

This hotel is truly unique. I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are magnificent and the breakfast delicious. It’s perfectly located right next to the historical center and not far from the beaches.

The place itself is very nice, but it is unfortunate that the owner chose to mistreat a client like me. I arrived a bit earlier than check in time, and asked if they could accommodate me. The owner answered via intercom telling me to go away immediately and not bother him while he was having his break, and kept insulting me that I did not know how to read the rules of the contract. I could not believe my ears and rang again, but he went even further, aggressively screaming to shut the door and go away. I decided to stay calm and come back at the designated check in time and ignore this guy.
The morning after, while having breakfast, which was very limited in choice but of good quality, I was sharing my experience with the family next to our table, and this guy jumps out of the blue and starts aggressing me in front of everyone, clearly preventing me from speaking in public and telling other guests about my negative experience. He raised his voice again in the middle of all the tables threatening to kick me out of the hotel if I kept talking about this to anyone else. At that stage I decided to ignore the whole thing and just enjoy my vacation, so I left the breakfast table and did not speak to him again.
The morning of the checkout I walked into the reception and I saw him again badly fighting with another guest. They were cursing at each other and he even ran after this guest trying to engage in a fight. I honestly have never seen anything like this.

Lovely hotel. The room was large, the bathroom was great and the location was terrific -- just outside the centro area of historic Nardo -- easy walking distance to all the sights. My only complaint is that the check-in desk is only open from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., so we had a long wait on a rainy day to check into the hotel. Otherwise, great.

Easily the best hotel in Nardo. Loved how they turn this monastero into a hotel. Beautiful space and lovely staffs!

A beautiful hotel and amazing value. The breakfasts were fantastic - homemade cakes and pastries and eggs cooked to order.
The staff deserve a special mention as they were extremely helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be visiting here again!

Excellent stay in a historic monastery.Nice view from our room, good wifi, in the pleasant town of Nardo. We had a standard room, and it could use a little updating.Other rooms we saw looked amazing. Highly recommend.

This hotel is beyond words. The rooms are unique, respectful of their origins. However, modern comfort abounds. The location is ideal, both for within the city and the area surrounded by mustsee sights such as the villas, the olive groves, masserie, seaside in the preserved park and of course the wonderful food. Nardò is a gem, with its Piazza Salandra, churches and architectural details. The inhabitants are friendly, generous, welcoming.

The rooms are spacious, warm and inviting with frescos and 30 foot vaulted ceilings. The monastery is quiet, solemn, yet in the historic center of Nardò, close to Piazza Salandra, Nardò 's heart, its livingroom. The town does not rely on tourism to come to life; it has a lovely charm of its own thanks to its citizens and its singular beauty. Also, the exquisite seaside vistas and historic villas are a stone's throw away. Our stay has been unique and unforgettable with Antonello's knowledge of the area's gems to visit and discover. We strongly suggest a lengthy stay in this hotel and area to fully appreciate its past and present beauty.
