If you want to be a part of the (loud) nightlife, then this may be the place for you. As we were traveling with young children, this was not good for us. Even on the third floor (up all of those stairs with our luggage...), it was very loud, usually until at least 4am. Not the owner's fault, but something guests should know. While the breaker panel also regularly tripped if you were cooking with the A/C on (needed in an attic in August), the apartment was otherwise fine.

Perfect. Best host!

This apartment was located in a fun and safe neighbourhood (bring some ear plugs and you will be fine). Walkability to metro and downtown area is fantastic. Apartment had everything we needed. We stayed 4 nights and it felt like home! Hosts also sent lots of information and suggestions.

The owners are very charming and explained the details to us very well, very good communication and had lovely little touches upon our arrival.
The apartment is very clean and qualitative, very well located for visiting Lisbon, everything is perfect, except the noise! the building being old, we hear everything (neighbors talking, walking...) and we hear a lot of noise from the street despite very nice insulated windows... especially on weekends, young people party until 2/ 3am. So if you don't mind the noise, this apartment is perfect !

No elevator , The area is very noisy at night and the 4 flights are treacherous. People with children, handicapped or depth perception should be alerted before confirming this unit.
The host was nice but didn’t allow us to drop off luggage but instead suggested a storage location that was not free after one hour .

Great apartment with spacious twin bedroom and a studio type main bedroom. Perfect for our stay in the very vibrant Barrio Alto. Good access to restaurants, city centre and train station. I loved our stay there. The only thing I suggest is to replace the current double mattress for a new. Otherwise we loved the space.

The apartment was charming and very comfortable. A good location with a nice welcome when we entered the apartment.

Great apartment in a great location!

Fantastic!! Excellent central location, walking distance to water, chiado, praca do comercio, principe real. Clean bathroom, amazing hot shower. Comfortable bed and plenty of kitchen households. Hosts were sweet and had a portuguese welcome kit for us: wine, cheese and crackers. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

A stylish comfortable apartment in a lovely old building. Great location. Wine and cheese left in the fridge for us and Renato and Jorge had a lot of recommendations on where to go and what to see.

Great location right in the mix of all the restaurants and bars. But also quiet for sleeping purposes. Very cozy apartment with stylish decor. They left us bread, cheeses, beer and wine. I would definitely recommend staying here. Parking was a 10min walk for apartment in a secure parking facility.

Very nice apartment, comfortable and clean. Good location in walking distance to many places. They took care of our luggage until check in time. There was curtesy bread and wine, eggs and more. Very appreciated. In all very nice. The only negative is that night life outside, it’s a bit noisy until early morning hours.

Really central location to restaurants and bars. Lots of activity from local bars from midnight to 4 am.

Angelica is so sweet and very kind manager, lovely clean apartment !
Make our stay so much easier and happier! Would go back again definitely.

Amazing place. Hosts are very helpful. Do note that there is a cleaning fee (EUR35) per stay and a local tax (EUR2) per guest per night. I will totally reccomment this apartment and was ranked amongst one of the best stays (both value and functionality) vs other places I have stayed at in Europe.

Great flat in a central location. Manuel was great, showing us some great local restaurants and sights to see. Really well equipped, right down to the hot sauce and olive oil. Only downside is it's on a small but noisy street... it is the party neighbourhood in Lisbon so to be expected.

Great location and everything we needed as a family of four for a comfortable and welcoming visit. Some noise from upstairs flat but that's the old house charm with wooden floors.
4.4
Excellent location, easy access to everything, lovely 2 bedroom flat with great facilities all we needed really. Manuel was on point with communication and gave us great suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants and things to do.

Wonderful location in the Bairro Alto. Lots of night time activity but on a quieter street than some so did not disturb sleep. The apartment itself was cute and cozy though a little tight for four adults. Would have liked to see some instructions for non- Europeans #1for the stove top - took us 10 minutes to figure out how to turn on a burner (the one we were trying didn't work), #2 the electrical system which kept tripping sometimes even with just one appliance etc.

The flat was amazing! we were greeted by a lovely person called Manuel who was very friendly and very helpful given us lots of information about the city, like places to visit, places to eat and how to go around town. The highlight for us was he kindly left the flat stocked up with delicious food, wine, bread, cheese... even beers. And he kept our luggage all day after us checking out. Great location too, just minutes walk from the heart of town with lots of places to eat and visit on your door step. Definitely highly recommended.

Fabulous central location.
Apartment was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated.
Had lovely sleeps in our comfortable beds.
Well equipped kitchen though we didn’t cook.
Plenty of restaurants and bars in the nearby streets.

Just had a FANTASTIC stay at this property!! It is a very well-appointed, cute and cozy apartment that is centrally located... one block over and you are in the midst of the Bairro Alto social scene, a two-minute walk up the street takes you to the charm of Principe Real... and because the apartment has double-paneled glass as well as heavy external metal blinds that can be pulled down when desired, there is virtually no noise at all despite the socially active location. As for food, there are too many good restaurants nearby to even try to mention (all within a few minutes’ walking distance), and the same goes for bars. Also, because of the property’s location, when we wanted to venture a bit farther out of the neighborhood, we never had to wait for an Uber for more than 2-3 minutes— it was like having a personal driver for just 2-5 euros per local trip!! The host Jorge’s assistant Manuel was wonderful as well... greeted us personally at the property, welcoming us with wine, bread, and cheese, and a fridge stocked with eggs, ham, butter, milk, water, and beer, along with coffee for the Krups machine (all included in the nightly fee!). He then spent about half an hour putting together a Google maps guide for us that he bookmarked with popular local attractions and good restaurants! Even during our stay, Manuel was available for questions and assistance and personally oversaw a weekly cleaning. We could not have asked for a better experience! Highly, highly recommend!!

Great service! Everything new and in good shape. Comfortable beds. The toilet-shower was clean and hygenic but tiny wich is why I’d said that the shower is not for overweight persons, tall you can be but not wide. Also this is the top floor without an elivator and you need to carry your luggage in small corridore. But this flat is highly recommendable including washing machine fir clothes and fully equipmented kitchen. Super nice.

Host was amazing, wine and cheese on arrival. Good tips on where to go and what to see. Apartment was excellent.
