This was a great location for our family to explore all that the area has to offer. The house was clean and had just what we needed. Looking forward to coming back to explore more.

The cabin was amazing. Stayed cool and loved the laundry unit. Had some amenities on hand and owner was easy to work with. Though it’s on the highway. It’s wasn’t all that noisy

Great location to everything we wanted to see. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We have family wanting to do same trip and will be giving this rental property info.

This is a very comfortable, quaint house, with all of the comforts you would want when you are away from home. The beds are comfortable. The house has high quality bedding and bath towels. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics that you need. The home is older, but it is updated nicely. We enjoyed the porch swing outside, and the nice large dining table inside. There is some road noise, but it is mostly unnoticeable inside. The pictures show a futon in the main living area, but we were pleasantly surprised that it has been replaced by a nice sofa bed.
We had one question upon check in, and the hostess responded almost immediately.
We were in the Hills for a family wedding, and the location was good for all of our destinations throughout the weekend. Highly recommended for any reason you are in the beautiful Black Hills!

We only had a day to explore the Black Hills, and we were happy to find this centrally located place to stay. It was ideal having the bunk room for the kids, and to be right on the edge of Custer. The main street right down the hill had lots of dining options. We were able to take in a tour of Wind Cave, scenic drives, Crazy Horse monument and Mt Rushmore. It was a great place to stay, and would love to return for a longer trip one day.

We really appreciated our stay in this property. It has a layout that is comfortable, roomy and modern. They did a great job with some of the remodel details. We stayed 2 nights, and it was a really nice place to relax in the evenings. We loved that they had a couple of bottles of water and a Keurig available. The little details make a huge difference. The property manager was really on point. We would definitely stay here again if it's available.

We had a great time at this cute house. We had everything we needed and they even included a pass to Custer State Park. We would recommend and stay here again.

We enjoyed our short visit to see Mt. Rushmore & other nearby points of interest. The home is small but very clean. We were unsure how to operate the pellet stove in the basement, so only used the 2 wall heaters in the bedrooms & the electric fireplace, which left the home cool, as we did have snow one night. It would be helpful to provide renters with an information sheet on the heating elements. (Note the property manager offered to come help us, but we chose to get by with minimal heat). The furniture is basic. If you intend to spend an evening in, binge watching shows, you may miss the comfort of a cozy couch, as opposed to a firm futon. The kitchen is darling, small but well appointed & the bed is super comfortable.
We found Custer to be a good location to be. Though several restaurants & businesses close in the fall, there were still ample places to shop & get a quality evening meal. We loved the Pizza Works & the Custer Wolf!
