About this cottage rental

Bluebell or Buttercup cottage are perfect for family, friends, groups, and corporate visits. With an upstairs private double bedroom and ensuite, and private garden space attached. The cottages are entirely self-contained, with fitted kitchens, bathrooms and living areas in each.

Bluebell and Buttercup Cottages have 1 double bed, and 1 sofa bed.
Travel cots are available upon request (free of charge)

We also offer attractive surroundings with communal picnic space and bbq area, and a large, secure car park.
The Rossendale Holiday Cottages Glamping pods & motorhome pitches are located in acres of beautiful countryside in the Rossendale Valley. We offer luxurious en suite double room or self-contained cottages for guests looking for a home away from home.

Each duplex cottage sleeps up to 4 and comes with a fitted kitchen, living area, bathroom, patio and high speed Wi-Fi throughout, so you can have a peaceful and relaxing time or an action packed holiday.

Pets allowed upon request in our pet friendly accommodations. Our four glamping pods each have a double bed (one may have two twins at request) and offer a cosy and unique way to experience the countryside. Each Pod has its own facilities in a clearly labelled shower block.

We have two hot tubs available for private hire.

Our room sleeps up to 2 people and comes with an en suite bathroom, TV, fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. Again free Wi-Fi is available. Pets are not allowed in the rooms.

Groups and families staying at the Rossendale Holiday Cottages and Rooms have access to our private BBQ and recreational area.

The cottages and room will also appeal to travelling business persons staying at the cottages, as we have plenty of secure parking and quick links to Burnley and Manchester.

The lovely walks around the lake . The staff are all very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them . A big shout out to Edwin who is very hard working and always helps with any queries we have and is very efficient . The cottage was pristine and everything was so clean and comfortable The hot weather was a bonus and we had a brilliant weekend

Our cottage was well laid out, spotlessly clean and there was everything we needed for a cosy and comfortable stay. Staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we felt very well looked after. The whole place has obviously been been designed with a lot of thought and attention to detail. As we were there with our dog, it was especially lovely to have walks within the grounds through the woodland and up to the lakes. It’s also an ideal setting for walks further afield.

A gem of a place! Nestling on a hillside in Rossendale, it is a haven of peace and tranquility, an ideal place to wind down and relax. We stayed in the 'Buttercup' holiday cottage, which was very comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean, with everything we needed, including a patio where we could sit out and enjoy a cup of tea in the sunshine. It's a perfect base for exploring the local area, which offers many opportunities for country walks and visits to nearby attractions.

Our fifth stay in this gem. Buttercup cottage feels like a home from home. (Even Hobo the dog just settles right in). Staff are so friendly and the cottage has everything you need and spotlessly clean. Can't wait to return in the autumn.

Had a surprise booked by our daughter for 22nd anniversary. Our first night was spent in the cute little Cygnet pod. Really cosy and clean with all the little bits needed provided. Second night we upgraded to the bluebell cottage which was stunning. We visited the singing tree and had a walk around cloughbottom reservoir. The ares inwhich the site is situated is lovely and peaceful. The welsh lady in the reception is lovely and friendly and makes you feel welcome.

The accommodation was really nicely decorated, spacious, the bedding was stunning lovely and crisp, smelt beautiful, accommodation nice and clean and loved the tea/coffee/milk nice lovely towels and little soaps, great kitchen facilities and the fact we could take our dog was great . The staff were fabulous, nothing to much trouble and the little cafe was excellent value.

Lovely weekend stay, our cottage 'Buttercup' was fantastic,it has everything you could wish for. The setting is great with nice little walks around the grounds for our two dogs, they loved it as much as we did. Rossendale Holiday Cottages is easy to find and very well located. There's lots of space to walk dogs over countryside both on and off site. Our dog friendly cottage was really nicely decorated and furnished and we felt very much at home during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble , will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

Brilliant. We have stayed here a number of times now and it never fails us. The accommodation is superb, clean and caters for everything you would need. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and if you are fortunate enough to be there when Leah is on duty you will be extremely lucky as she is an absolute treasure.
