We had a great week at Beech Mountain. The house accommodated us well, and had a great deck as well. After we arrived and put our food in the fridge we noticed that the door guard on the fridge fell off when we opened it. I immediately reported this to the agency, and assume that we shouldn't be charged a damage fee since the fridge had seen some wear and tear. Otherwise, a wonderful week!

The house was perfect for our getaway. The teens had a huge space to hang out in when we weren’t out doing activities. There was plenty of space inside and a beautiful deck with a gorgeous view, especially at sunset as the property’s deck faces west. The kitchen was well supplied with anything you’d need to prepare full meals easily. The area where the house is located is quaint and there are multiple, well marked hiking trails with rivers and waterfalls right on Beech Mountain.

The cabin needs deep cleaning, there was mice poop even in the beds, my kids were scared to sleep there since you can tell there’s lots of mice. The sheets and pillows were dirty and smelled horrible!! There were dirty tissues under the beds, Furniture is so old and dirty. Heaters don’t work properly, it was hard to keep the cabin warm.

The house itself is very cute and accommodated 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs quite nicely! It seemed like the cleaning crew either didn't show before we got there or only did half of what they should have. There was a musty smell the first day or so we were there. Despite the uncleanliness, we enjoyed our stay very much. Vacasa is awful to deal with, though. They over charged us and it took several very long phone calls to remedy the situation. VRBO helped immensely, as always.

A well stocked kitchen, great grill, hot showers and super comfy bed. The guest center was very helpful and beautiful local hikes. There were deer everywhere!

Perfect location for mountain views and sunsets. Deer came to visit all times of the day. Furniture could be updated but the house has everything you need for cooking and being comfortable. Ensure you know the location if you unfamiliar with mountain driving. It is up the mountain. No frills but has everything you need for a getaway.

This home was comfortable and just what we needed for a weekend away. We didn’t use the kitchen much but everything we needed was there. King size bad on main floor was very comfortable. Things were clean and ready when we arrived.

Enjoyable stay and would recommend. It is an older property that creaks and has dated furniture, and the toilets are the old style, short and round if that’s a problem for some. It’s in a
good location and has everything you need.
The deer were active and grazing on the property (like 5 ft away) and the back porch was a highlight. The kiddo loved the game room and each of us had plenty of room to spread out and relax separately or together as desired.

House is kept up well, views are pretty. Very spacious and homey at the same time.
I do wish the back porch had some type of door or gate but the views are calming.

Great weather

Overall great property to visit. It's an older style home so quality of heating and staying warm takes a bit. But still very beautiful and I would book again any day !

The house didn't provide enough garbage bags, paper towels, or toilet paper. Also the heating was not very good in the living room. The dryer was broken as well.

Really nice cabin at the top of Beech mountain. We had a great time while staying there. The negative is as follows, entry and back door need to be fixed badly, they stick so bad my Wife couldn’t open them. I had to clean out the fire place out before we could use it, full of ash from previous guest! The carpet was not vacuumed prior to us getting there. I did vacuum before we left, the vacuum works great but needed emptied, yes I did that too. Over all a great place till stay and the Management company keeps in touch with you if you have any problems or questions which was nice. Yes I could have let them know and I think they would have sent someone to clean it but I didn’t want to deal with anybody after we checked in, so I just did what I thought was best for us.
Thank you very much and I will book again!

We checked in on Tuesday Night which was good because we were running behind schedule. We had walked into the house and it smelled like a goodwill, checked all the rooms and there were no bed sheets on any bed, hair on the pillows and in the showers, bag of goldfish and earplugs behind the nightstand. The house has also not been remodeled all appliances were from the 1970's. Washer and dryer machine do not work. I wouldn't recommend staying at this house but if you do then I wish you the best of luck!

Nice cabin that was perfect for our needs. Views, plenty of room, all you need. James Carter and Jason with Vacasa quickly showed up to fix an issue we had, great service.
