We enjoyed this cozy home for our family to escape. Our older kids/adults enjoyed the lake access for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable.

Property needed good cleaning inside, grass mowed and weeds removed, boat trailer blocked one parking spot and boat at the dock was in major disrepair. Could not put pontoon boat at dock due to other boat blocking dock. Left one day early because of these conditions. Pictures available.

We were pleased overall with the house and felt warm and safe. So many people have commented on the limited seating in the living area, but no one has mentioned that the seating isn't very comfortable for older people. Unless you sit on a kitchen chair, you may have a hard time getting comfortable or even getting out of the one chair. The small couch is also not easy to sit in unless you are young and flexible. How nice it would be to have an upholstered chair with a straight back and maybe an ottoman so you could sit by the fire and relax. Most of the amenities are as described. Many coffee drinkers prefer mugs and there was only one. The dishes were either large plates or saucers. We did see some Chinese plates, but it would be great just to have some normal Ikea salad plates and mugs. A real blender would be nice. The 2 immersion blenders are okay, but wouldn't handle frozen ingredients very well for smoothies. Nice washer and dryer, but a bit loud for the occupants of the downstairs rooms. Toilet paper is pretty awful and thin, so bring your own. Also bring bar soap or body wash and a few extra wash cloths. The deer and the ambience are the best features!

First of all, the check-in and check-out process was great. My only complaint is the seating in the living room is not adequate for more than 3 adults. The house was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay.

Should not have had open used food jars in refrigerator. Dryer still had bed clothes in it. Pillows were not so good on beds. Should have a couch in livng room. Should have a hand rail on both sides of stairs with a night light on the stairs. Bedroom closets have too much stuff in them making them unusable if you had more people staying there. Also should have a coffee maker for Kcups.

This property is as described. It had plenty of sleeping space for the 6 of us, though the table was too small to use the 6 chairs all together. There is not much in the immediate vicinity except the water, which is nice if you want a quiet spot.. It is located on a great finger of the lake for watersports that is not nearly as busy as the larger parts of Lake Lanier. We were able to park our boat on the side of the dock, as the owner owns a boat that is in the boat slip. We really enjoyed the lake location. Minor things to address/correct/include in the property description: There is a boat trailer in the parking area at the home, so bringing another trailer to park requires some skill. The address of the boat launch is wrong (takes you to a house in a neighborhood down the road) - we had to ask neighbors how to get there. There were some linens in the dryer. The house had progressively more black flies throughout the week. I think they may be coming from the living room rug, which is cool looking but can't be vacuumed due to the design. Overall, we had a great time.
